The essence of the legend is that during the war with the Turks, a hero, the Cossack Yegor Uspensky, was buried at the base of the mountain, thanks to whom the war with the Turks in these lands ended. House of the manager of the royal estate G.F. Uspensky

Initially, it was impossible to get to the gorge due to dense thickets, but now a path has been laid here. The waterfall consists of several cascades 10 meters high. The jets are fed by a mountain river and fall into a stone bowl with gentle edges. There is a small beach downstream where tourists can stop and swim.
With the development of tourism, infrastructure came to the reserve. A wooden staircase has appeared at the waterfall, which does not spoil the view at all, and souvenir shops have opened at the exit.
