The girl's parents forbade her to meet her fiancé. Fleeing from the chase arranged by Guasha's father, Dysheyek fell from a cliff into the sea right in front of his beloved. For a long time she came to this place to mourn her beloved. And then, unable to live any longer without Dysheek, she threw herself into the depths of the sea. The Kiselev Rock was named later when the famous painter Kiselyov depicted it in his painting “The Rock of Tears”. This place is located 4 km from the city. You can get here with a boat tour. - The largest is the Perun waterfall (water falls from a height of 33 meters). Getting there is easy. You need to take the train to Dachnaya station. You will immediately see a suspension bridge, along which you need to cross the river to the opposite bank. And then move along the river upstream. There will be signs along the way; the path to the waterfall passes through a fairytale forest with the purest air. Along the route you come across ancient mysterious structures - dolmens.
- Waterfalls “Azure”, “Bear”, “Grey Beard” on the Dederkoy River. Take bus route No. 10 to the final stop “Stone Quarry”.
- “Colonel” waterfalls on the Kamenisty stream near the Polkovnichey farm. This is a whole cascade of several waterfalls of varying beauty, power and height. Take a bus to the Polkovnichy farm.
- Waterfalls on the Gryaznaya River (“Fan”, “Change” and others). You need to get to the village of Sadovoye, and from there it’s another 13-14 km to the waterfalls. Such a hike takes the entire daylight hours, but gives a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
- "Blue" waterfalls. They were named so due to the layers of blue clay that come to the surface and give the water a special hue. You will need to take a bus to the village of Indyuk, and from there it will take about 1.5 hours to walk to the waterfalls.
You can go on a tour to the waterfalls or go on your own. It’s easy to get to nearby stations and villages (from the train station by train or regular bus), so we advise you to give preference to an independent hike. It will turn out much more interesting - you can look at everything carefully, stop at any time, take a photo, shoot a video, take a break and relax in a beautiful shady forest.
Outdoor travel
At Cape Kadosh, which is part of the reserve, you can find a lot of interesting things. The main part of the forest is oak and hornbeam; Crimean and Pitsunda pines are also found. Neolithic and Paleolithic sites were discovered on its territory. There are dolmens in the forest. The open spaces are thickets of wild Caucasian orchids and other rare plants.
From Tuapse you can go on excursions:
- IN Guam Gorge
- a place of extraordinary beauty, where waterfalls flow from high cliffs, and they themselves are dotted with caves and grottoes. An excursion diesel locomotive carries tourists along the gorge on a narrow-gauge railway. At the recreation center in the gorge there are healing thermal springs where you can relax and heal your joints.
- There is a waterfall near Tuapse Perun
50 meters high. It looks especially powerful at the beginning of summer, when mountain rivers are still full of water.
- Hiking trail to the mountain Turkey
- this is a route for those who are not afraid of mountain hiking. The trail from Tuapse can be reached by a regular bus to the village of Indyuk. Even a beginner can overcome the climb up the mountain. The route runs along the former front line; local historians and trophy hunters come here. Along the way you come across many monuments and obelisks erected in honor of the soldiers who died here.

Snake Gorge
If you don’t want to spend your entire vacation lying on a well-maintained beach, but, on the contrary, like an informal holiday, then go to Snake Gorge. Here, every year, starting in May, a spontaneous tent camp appears, where informals and creative individuals who love this type of recreation gather. There is also a nudist beach nearby, but this is for very big exotic lovers, so it is not recommended to go there with children.
It is recommended for all visitors to Tuapse to explore the Snake Gorge. It is located on picturesque green hills, and in itself is incredibly beautiful. The sea here is very clean, so it is pleasant to swim in it. There are also wild raccoons constantly running around here, which are very friendly towards people and enjoy with great pleasure the delicacies that tourists leave for them. It is located near the village of Dzhubga. Despite its name, there are absolutely no snakes in this gorge, so there is no need to be afraid of reptiles here.

The microdistrict in the south of Tuapse, which was once a separate village, gave its name to the beach. Its length is about 500 m, width 15 m. On both sides the beach is protected by stone embankments protruding into the sea. The coast is covered with small pebbles mixed with sandy areas. The entry into the water is gentle. The sea near Vesna beach is clean.
It is convenient to get to the beach by train - the station is nearby. Not everyone will like the noise of passing trains. Although there are people who like to wave to people passing by.
You can get to the beach by buses and minibuses. There are often locals on the shore who often fish here. Behind “Vesna”, away from Tuapse, there are wild beaches where you can retire. And on the Vesna beach itself it is quiet, calm, there are not many vacationers.
Despite the lack of noisy entertainment, the beach has good infrastructure. There are sun loungers, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, toilets. Rescuers monitor safety on the tower. There are cafes and shops.
There is a rental of boats, jet skis and equipment. Children can ride a banana boat, there are slides and a trampoline. There is a playground for volleyball fans. The place is popular among diving fans.
There is a park nearby on the shore where you can take a walk or warm up on the sports ground. The village of Vesna has mini-hotels and guest houses, so for a relaxing holiday you can stay in the village and sunbathe on the beach. It is convenient to travel by train to Tuapse and Sochi, where you can go sightseeing.
Entertainment for children
Families with children should visit the Chernomor water park, where children can enjoy a variety of slides and swim in the pools. For very little ones, there are “paddling pools” so that no one will get bored. And tourists will have memories from this entertainment place. Nearby, in the small town of Dzhubga, there is a dolphinarium where shows with marine life are held every day: dolphins, fur seals and killer whales. Dolphinarium "Aquamir"
Dolphinarium "Aquamir" is located in the resort village of Nebug, 15 km from Tuapse. The show of three dolphins and two fur seals takes place twice a day (from 11.00 and 17.00) except on Mondays, when the artists have a day off. The weather doesn't bother them, so even if it rains, the show isn't cancelled. The duration of the performance is about an hour.
During the program, various tricks are performed, and the dolphins also paint an abstract painting that can be bought at auction. The auction winner gets a bonus ride in a boat pulled by dolphins. In addition, after the performance it is possible to take photographs with animals (500 - 1000 rubles), as well as a 5-minute swim with dolphins (1500 - 3000 rubles).
You cannot buy tickets to the dolphinarium in advance or online. They can be purchased on site at the box office one hour before the start of the performance. Ticket price – 600 rubles. Children under 5 years old enter free of charge. Discounts are provided for disabled people and large families.
Water park "Dolphin"
Like the dolphinarium, the water park is located in Nebug, and is considered the very first (since 1997), largest (3 hectares), most beautiful (the number of plants is greater only in the Sochi arboretum) and most comfortable (5 stars) water park in Russia.
There are 5 unique water slides, among which the extreme ones stand out: “Kamikaze” (height 15 m, speed over 70 km/s), “Black Hole” (100-meter closed water tube with special effects) and “Pigtail” (3 water tubes, “ twisted" into one "braid").
Foam aquadiscos are held with surprises and an entertaining entertainment program. In the evening, a light show is added to everything. There are also children's programs with attractions in which high-level animators are involved.

Theater for Young Spectators
This theater grew out of the amateur theater group "Suitcase", specializing in children's productions. In 1991 he received professional status. In 2001, he settled in the building of the former Sadko cinema (Tamanskaya St., 18).
Tuapse Youth Theater is the only theater of this profile on the Black Sea coast, a winner of many All-Russian competitions among provincial theaters. By the way, his repertoire also includes productions for adults.
