The city of Perm is associated with another unusual art object - a monument to the letter “P”. Museum of Contemporary Art PERMM
Opened in 2008, it became the only exhibition complex of this type besides Moscow and St. Petersburg. The museum is developing dynamically and supports young talented authors working with non-standard materials, which include tape, cardboard, and sand. The first building allocated to the museum was the river station built in 1940. Later, the exhibition complex moved to Gagarin Boulevard, into a building with a very interesting layout, the appearance of which immediately sets visitors up for an unusual experience. Salty Perm ears
Salt making is another traditional local activity, in honor of which a sculpture was erected. The sculpture waits on Komsomolsky Prospekt for his salt-swollen ears to be rubbed.
This is a kind of symbol of the history of the Perm region - in the 18th century salt deposits were found here, on which a significant part of the local population worked, extracting salt and carrying salty bags on their shoulders. If you want to get a comprehensive impression of the history of the city’s development, then you should definitely go to Perm on an excursion to the copper mine located on the first floor of the museum complex, look at the welding machine invented by N. G. Slavyanov, see ancient documents and drawings of the early 19th century. The museum was opened in 1976 and consists of exhibition halls and an open area where samples of military equipment that came off the factory’s assembly lines are installed.

The story of one magic
The puppet theater is premiering a new play. “Little Tsakhes, nicknamed Zinnober” is a fairy-tale grotesque story by Ernest Hoffmann.
Out of pity, the good fairy bewitches baby Tsakhes, who is ugly in body and soul, so much so that everyone around him stops noticing his ugliness. Now people are drawn to him. Any praiseworthy deed done in his presence is attributed to him, Tsakhes. And vice versa, as soon as he does something disgusting or shameful, in the eyes of those present, someone else seems to have done the abomination and, most often, the one who suffered the most from this trick.
