  • How to get there

To travel by car to Pavlovsky Posad, you need to have a lot of patience. Huge traffic jams on the Gorky and Novoryazanskoe highways turn the 1.5-hour journey into eternity. You can choose Nosovikhinskoe Highway, but the disadvantage of this road will be the abundance of railway crossings, which will not speed up the journey.

Pavlovsky Posad is well accessible by public transport, which runs regularly from the capital:

    Geography[ | ]

The area of the district is 56,633 hectares[8]. The district borders in the north and northeast with the Kirzhachsky and Petushinsky districts of the Vladimir region, in the south and southeast with Orekhovo-Zuevsky, in the west with Noginsky and in the southwest with Ramensky districts of the Moscow region.

    Climate[ | ]

The climate is generally characteristic of the Meshchera Lowland. Current meteorological measurements are carried out at the hydrometeorological center station in Pavlovsky Posad

    Relief[ | ]

The area of the region can be divided into two sections, from the north and from the south of the Klyazma River. The northern part is a predominantly flat area divided in the middle by a small elevation (133-135 m) into a layer of swamp massif (up to 130 m), and the valley of the Plotnya river (125-130 m). The southern part of the area is predominantly a ravine surface (130-140 m) with numerous small rivers and small elevations (on average 150 m).

The lowest point of the relief (116 m) is located on the bank of the Klyazma River as it exits the area, and the highest (155 m) is in the south of the area, four kilometers southwest of the village of Vlasovo.

    Hydrography[ | ]

The largest river is the Klyazma; Plotnya and Vyrka flow into it on the left, and Vokhonka (with its tributaries Slogavka and Khodtsa) and Drezna with its tributary Zhukovka flow into it on the right. In addition, the Ponor River, which belongs to the Moscow River basin, flows through the area.

There are also numerous lakes in the area, among them: flowing lakes, located in a pine forest, Matveevskoye, Orlevo and Svetloye, springs gush between the last of the slopes, and on their banks there are children's camps; near the village of Zaozerye there is a deep lake Danilishche. Young, water-filled sand pits near the village of Vasyutino and in the village of Bolshie Dvory are also popular. There are also overgrown lakes in swamp areas. The reservoirs have no economic significance; they are used for recreational purposes by the local population and summer residents.

In the northern part of the region there are numerous swamps, partly drained by reclamation canals, and around Elektrogorsk there are peatlands that have been mined out and are now filled with water.

    Natural resources[ | ]

The distribution of natural resources is completely determined by the surface topography:

    • in the northeastern part there are thick peat layers
    • in the western part (on both sides of the Klyazma) there are significant forests
    • in the south and southeast the surface is covered with valuable gray forest and turf soils, with a favorable moisture regime.

In addition, deposits of construction sands and brick clays are widespread.

    Ecology[ | ]

A serious problem is the periodic forest and peat fires in the north of the region and the pollution of rivers by wastewater, especially the Klyazma River (controlled by a hydrochemical station in Pavlovsky Posad).

    Religious sites

Pavlovsky Posad, whose sights tell of rich religious and spiritual traditions, is also visited by pilgrims, because there are many temples, churches and chapels here.

    For example:

    1. Pokrovsko-Vasilievsky Monastery, located at lane. Maxim Gorky, 25a. The temple has 2 floors and was built in the Russian-Byzantine style of the 17th century. The building was erected by the owner of the weaving manufactory Ya. I. Labzin in honor of his colleague Vasily Gryaznov, who tried to help the poor and needy, and also became known for converting several thousand Old Believers to Orthodoxy.

    2. Church of St. Nicholas, located at 1 May Street, 63, is unique. The church building is combined with a school and an icon-painting workshop. On the eastern side there is a church, and on the western side there is a merchant mansion. This building was built at the expense of the owner of a silk processing factory, Sokolikov A.E., primarily as an educational institution for the children of workers of his manufactory. The church worked until the establishment of Soviet power, in 1918 the crosses were removed from it, and it ceased to exist for a while. And only in 2001 the temple began to be revived. Sunday school has started again, there is an icon-painting, choir, and a cutting and sewing club.

    3. Resurrection Church or Resurrection Cathedral can be found at st. Mira, no. 1. It is located on the very spot where there was an ancient church founded by Dmitry Donskoy. In the 18th century built a stone church on this site. The cathedral building was later demolished, but the bell tower with the chiming clock remained, which is still the hallmark of the city on Klyazma.

The most interesting and unusual places

In addition to those listed above, there are many interesting places in the vicinity of the city:

    1. In the village Zaozerye, which is 6 km along the Nosovikhinskoe highway from Pavlovsky Posad, there is a lake of glacial origin. There is a legend that this lake is sacred, and popular rumor says that at its bottom there is a temple that sank in an unknown period.
    2. 15 km south of the city center in the village of Averkievo there is the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity. Almost everyone knows Serov V.’s painting “Girl with Peaches”; it depicts the childlike image of Vera Mamontova (Samarina). She died early, and Vera’s husband erected this church in her honor. At that time, the temple was richly decorated with majolica, a type of ceramics made according to the designs of Vrubel M. During the Soviet era, the temple was looted, and the premises were used as a warehouse where fertilizers and pesticides were stored. Only in the 90s. the church began to be restored. Now a bell ringing festival takes place here every year.

    3. At a distance of 10 km from the city in the village. In Demidovo you can find the source of Queen Helena. Here the holy elders spent a lot of time in prayer, performing church rituals. The source is a well equipped. Nearby are icons of Equal-to-the-Apostles Queen Helena and her son Tsar Constantine.

Where to go with a child

There are a lot of educational places to visit with children in this city and its surroundings:

    1. For example, the Museum of Scarves and Shawls conducts master classes for 150 rubles. by hand printing a design onto fabric. This event will be interesting for children from 5 years old. Here, together with your child, you can create a memorable souvenir scarf or napkin. There is also a theatrical interactive excursion in a stylized tavern, which will be of interest to children from 10 years old. A ticket costs about 300 rubles. Here they will tell you about traditions, teach you how to drink tea like a real coachman, be sure to count money and arrange a fun quiz.
    2. In the village of Kuznetsy, not far from Pavlovsky Posad, there is a center for military-historical reconstruction “Garrison-A”, where you can get acquainted with the life of a settlement under martial law. A history museum, a search party, a variety of military equipment and weapons, shooting ranges, sports grounds, military-themed games, fishing, and an ice skating rink will certainly be of interest to the young fighter. You can stay in the barracks, take part in competitions for winding footcloths at speed, or grab a “tongue” in an interesting src=”https://touristam.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/pavlovskiy-posad-17.jpg” class= "aligncenter" width="600″ height="400″[/img]
    3. Factory of Christmas tree decorations "Rime", located in the village of Danilovo, 65. Little visitors will be delighted by fairy-tale characters. They will tell and show how toys are made, and will also offer to paint a Christmas ball as a souvenir.

    Where to stay

The city used to be attractive to me. BUT now, taking a closer look - if not disgust, then hostility, because... dirty roads, shops - uncomfortable eateries, hairdressers like this, an expensive market, and unfriendly saleswomen... There is no culture... Why don’t they develop the city, because it is located in a wonderful place, near a river, etc. In a HUGE difference for the worse from the city of Noginsk... I live in a village (we moved from Moscow), but our village seems more developed than P-P.. It’s a pity that the administration there is like that...

Pavlovsky Posad, my hometown. There is no way around Pavlovsky Posad. If by chance, foolishly, you are not married, come to our city, Pavlovsky Posad

Chorus: What a day it is today, In love with my hometown, A Pavlovo Posad boy is walking

Here you will find honest people, I won’t lie, Do you want a princess, or do you want a Bab Yaga, a big woman or a baby, a skinny woman, an al-navar - a fat woman like a Tula samovar

    Chorus.

Perhaps by chance he will tell you: I was there, not very well, yes, the village is there. The streets are crooked, there is dampness and dirt, and there are crooks in abundance, even if you don’t leave the house.

Cut off his tongue for lying. He himself, from Yakutia, is a tree man. There are few restaurants, but so what? Spending all the money is enough for one

The streets of the beauty are filled with sunshine, People don’t bite - a sign of kindness!

    Chorus.

The most bydlyatsky city in the world. A place forgotten by God. Here live only complete rednecks and gopniks, drunkards, criminals and other rabble. People don’t even know what fashion, culture, and normal human life are. A pack of embittered rednecks, both male and female, nothing more to add...

Once when I was a counselor at a pioneer camp in the city of Tver. At the next planning meeting they decided where to send one of the teams on an excursion. The director of this camp suggested sending the children on an excursion to the city located in the Moscow region, Pavlovsky Posad. And I was a counselor who accompanied the children. And when we arrived in this city, I was very surprised that it was not particularly big, but very beautiful. First on our excursion was a visit to the local history museum. Upon arrival at the museum, a guide was waiting for us; she was a rather pleasant-looking young girl. She started getting to know the guys and then invited us inside and started talking about the museum and the city. I want to say I was shocked by her knowledge, despite her young age, she had exactly all the information. She told a very interesting story, all the children listened to her and sometimes even asked questions. Next we visited the monument to G. M. Kurin. I also want to note that this city differs from others in that it does not have very many monuments and obelisks, but there are a huge number of churches, monasteries and cathedrals (I noticed this when we were driving through the city). Everything in the city is very clean; driving along their streets, various shops, supermarkets, communication shops, and so on caught my eye. Also during the excursion we were in the house of the merchant of the first guild Dmitry Shirkov. The children from the whole excursion liked this place. Yes, in principle, me too. It is very interesting with its own history. In general, the city itself is very beautiful, it is clear that the city administration very carefully monitors its order. Also, while moving around the city, I noticed that there were some unfinished buildings, this indicates that the administration is expanding the range of services of Pavlovsky Posad. We had a very good, I would even say great, day in this city. I would like to go there now too and see what has changed!

Most of those who wrote were advertisements. The town is for once. I regretted that, at least temporarily, I came to live. Even a mosquito net and a fumigator can’t save you from mosquitoes. There are a lot of arrogant and angry people. There is nowhere to go, nothing to see. If only a year would fly by faster and I would move away forever.

A very interesting topic) I was born and lived in Moscow, but by the will of fate I had to move to Pavlovsky Posad. I married Pavlovo Posadets, and we decided that we would live and raise a family in his city. This was primarily due to housing. In Moscow, I had to live with my grandmother or rent an apartment, but here I had my own separate housing. To be honest, my first impression of the city left me with the saddest impressions. The lack of full-fledged shopping centers, markets and shops open until 6 pm, the terrible condition of roads and courtyards, the poor transport situation, low wages - everything frightened me and depressed me. It took me a long time to get used to the atmosphere, but then I found an interesting job, and now I no longer regret moving here. I saw the city from the other side, I saw that at the moment it began to actively develop, and in the end I got used to it. Now we have the opportunity to return to Moscow again for permanent residence in a separate apartment, but during my stay in Pavlovsky Posad (1.5 years), I have already grown attached to this city and the desire to return to the metropolis has disappeared. Why are people attracted to Pavlovsky Posad? I think they are not attracted to it at all, but they move here, just like me - by the will of circumstances and fate. Honestly, if I ever decided to leave Moscow just like that, for the sake of a change of scenery, I would never choose Pavlovsky Posad for permanent residence. I am more attracted to Sergiev Posad, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Krasnogorsk, Odintsovo...

The godforsaken city of Pavlovsky Posad. With housing and communal services not working. Dirty streets. Poverty. And Moscow prices in stores. And it’s better not to go to the hospital and clinic. Appointment with doctors at the father... People don’t appreciate paying, don’t want to pay minimum wage. Draw a conclusion .The city of dying pensioners.

    Flaws:

    Not convenient to get to

I would like to tell you about one of the cities in the Moscow region - Pavlovsky Posad. I moved to this city a year ago and on occasion I want to share my impressions that it made on me during the year. The distance of Pavlovsky Posad from Moscow is 67 km in an easterly direction. The city can be reached by car along Gorkovskoye or Nosovikhinskoye highways or by train from Kursky station. I get there by train, because there are too many traffic jams in this direction. The peculiarity of traveling by train is that the carriages are overcrowded with people; the journey takes an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes; the fare in one direction is 140 rubles. The Pavlovsky Posad station is no different from other stations in the Moscow region, but the station is kept clean and tidy.

Pavlovsky Posad is located between the two rivers Vokhna and Klyazma. The city itself is very scattered, the population is about 70 thousand people, for this reason it is more correct to call Pavlovsky Posad an urban settlement. Previously, Pavlovsky Posad was known as the village of Pavlovo or Vokhna (since 1328). The heart of the city is occupied by the bell tower of the Resurrection Cathedral, which is also depicted on the city’s coat of arms. According to historical information, the city began to be founded precisely at this bell tower. In the evening it glows with lights, you can see it at the entrance to the city, a very beautiful sight! Then neighboring villages began to join the village of Pavlovo: Melenki, Dubrovo, Zakharovo, Usovo. In 1844, after the unification of villages, the city of Pavlovsky Posad appeared. That's why the city is scattered, the area is correspondingly closer to the countryside. In the city center, the streets are arranged in squares, so it is impossible to get lost.

The main street is st. Kirov, which leads to the main square of the city, where a monument to Lenin is erected. The square is accordingly called nothing less than Revolution Square). The square is historical, there are a lot of old buildings around it. I was struck by the “Karandash” store, they sell stationery there and the house looks like a pencil. The building is very old, dilapidated, but the interior is interesting, you can feel the old times... It is better to come to Pavlovsky Posad in the summer. The city is quiet, calm, a lot of greenery, clean air. It’s good to come here with children, there is somewhere to walk and frolic. I advise you to visit the city park, which is located near the station, there is a small fountain, a children's playground, and a stage where retro music is played and events are held on weekends and holidays. Walking in the park is a pleasure.

One of the attractions of the city is the well-heard and praised Pavlovo-Posad Shawl Manufactory, where the famous Pavlovo-Posad shawls are made.

People from different cities come to our city to buy scarves, they give tours of the factory, where they tell in detail about the history and production of shawls and scarves. On the street Herzen has a store from the factory, where there is a huge assortment of Pavlovo Posad scarves. The quality is amazing - real wool, all my friends have already acquired scarves.

I advise you to visit this store if possible, but I must immediately warn you that the queues are long, especially on weekends. Therefore, the store is open without breaks and weekends. I also love this city for its monasteries. The Pokrovsko-Vasilievsky Monastery is a very spiritual place. On the territory of the monastery there is a chapel of St. George the Victorious, the Church of Andrei Rublev, the Church of John the Baptist, the Church of Michael the Archangel, and two shrines from the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

I invite everyone to visit the city of Pavlovsky Posad, there are many attractions, it’s impossible to list them all. The city, as I said, is beautiful in the summer, but I want to emphasize that our winter is snowy and the landscapes are also beautiful. So the city of Pavlovsky Posad is good both in summer and winter!

    Irina

For some reason, our city is not developing at all... the only entertainment in the City is to run around, shop around, and, at the end of the walk, so as not to go home empty-handed, drop into Atak, buy what you need and what you don’t really need. Well, the palaces of culture, of course, are puffing themselves up as best they can: they organize all sorts of free concerts - interesting ones, mainly for grannies. And the roads... song, not roads. It's really a sad song. In general, the city puts you in a working mood: leave to work, come home to sleep. It's unfortunate. Or could...Oh, our city is rowan....

    https://www.komandirovka.ru/cities/pavlovskiposad/reviews/

Our city as a whole is not bad if something was done in it for the residents of the city, and not for those who “sponsor” the work. That is, for example, why near new buildings the center or not there are playgrounds, “pieces” of a good road, and areas including Pushkinskaya, Kuzmina, Shchers, the city administration bypasses, it’s not children, but homeless people who live there! AND YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE NO WHERE TO GO NOT EVERYONE CAN ALLOW THEMSELVES TO SIT “IN KATAN” EVERY DAY, dear city administration, take the example of the city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo, although there It would be interesting for people to live, but we go to Orekhovo for an interest in life! In general, there is nothing to praise, an ordinary town near Moscow with bad roads, only scarves are used as advertising for the city!

    Advantages:

Clean and tidy small town near Moscow, with clear skies and joy

    Flaws:

    Clumsy in places

Good day! Today we were passing through the city of Pavlovsky Posad, Moscow region. We didn’t spend much time there, so we didn’t manage to see everything, of course. But we liked what we saw - nice, clean, and somehow even cozy. Sometimes it’s a bit tacky, but in what city wouldn’t you see something like this? We began our exploration of this city from the central square, in the center of which stands a monument to V.I. Lenin. For some reason I remembered my school years and the phrase “And Lenin is always young”... Inspired, so to speak. Behind the monument is a beautiful well-groomed square with a beautiful sculptural composition and snow-covered fir trees in places.

and benches for rest, cleaned by the caring hands of a janitor. Here is a view of the chapel, which opens if you stand behind the sculptures

and a beautiful sky In front of the monument to V.I. Lenin there is still a decorated large Christmas tree. Its size is easy to feel from this angle, when even V.I. Lenin is not visible, although he is in the foreground. Between a multi-story building with shops and a residential building They saw the temple as home, or rather, part of it. They didn’t come closer to it, since there wasn’t much time. We had to move on. What I liked was that there were a lot of Christmas trees in the city - big, beautiful, well-groomed living Christmas trees. Here they are in front of the city administration building of Pavlovsky Posad Here - in front of a residential building And then there are also Christmas trees. On the side of the city administration building we noticed a brick fire tower. It looks colorful there, somehow ancient. And the building of the Pension Fund is also surrounded by wonderful Christmas trees. A little further away we saw such an entourage flower shop. Next to which, quite appropriately, there was a pizzeria? called “Don Pizzerone”, which was completely inappropriately joined by a chain store. Ancient buildings (note the turrets on the building on the left) border on modern ones in which, judging by the sign, you can have lunch (lunch, in my opinion, would sound inappropriate in this case :)) And here is the very clumsiness that I mentioned at the beginning of the review The colors don’t seem to be bright, but somehow they really don’t harmonize with each other. This is probably how it looks better without the crazy pink color

Then we saw a building from which for some reason memories of Great Britain came flooding back to us. It turned out that this was a school, every window of which was beautifully decorated by someone’s caring hands. Right behind the school is the entrance to the city park, which I will tell you about

in a separate review, because in my opinion, it deserves it Right behind the lyceum park, part of which we noticed back in the park And its facade looks so crazy pink. I have no hypothesis for whom the building was painted in a similar color, I can only assume, that someone suggested (sorry for the tautology) that girls and boys! you have to like it. We liked the previous “British” school more. Opposite the Lyceum is a children's music school

And a little further - which, in fact, is where we went

In the waiting room (I can’t find another word) there are women in headscarves all around

And there’s a couple on the front door to the store

We grab the broken handle and find ourselves in a store where there is a notice that photography and videography are prohibited. Therefore there will be no photos. Here we are already at the bus and railway station and the New Year tree is again decorated, opposite which the eternal flame burns

Pavlovsky Posad is significantly removed from Moscow.

Plus, relative to other similarly remote ones, there are currently new buildings near the train station (3 min walk). But that is if you are a fan of electric trains. To get there by car means standing in mega-traffic jams on the highway of enthusiasts, especially when passing Balashikha. A one-room apartment in a house next to the station is offered on the Internet for 2.2-2.5 million. I haven’t lived in the city itself, but I’ve been there 15 times - in my opinion, it’s about the same as Shchelkovo - there is an industrial area, a railway line along the city (all sorts of warehouses ), a lot of private sector...

If you calculate the travel costs, it may well be that it makes sense to buy something closer (in the sense of taking out a loan). For example, rent an apartment in Korolev or Pushkino near the railway station. stations - now Sputnik has been introduced - although it is expensive, it is still an alternative to crowded electric trains that can barely move.

I have lived since 2002. to 2006 in Elektrogorsk and I know about this Pavlovsky Posad firsthand.

The city sucks. If you work in Moscow, then the trains are all passing and you can only travel while standing. It’s certainly easier from Moscow, but 10 minutes before departure all the seats are already occupied (either by real people or friends’ cards). Driving by car is something you wouldn’t wish on your enemies, especially through Balashikha. My former neighbors had a record of 6 hours from the Moscow Ring Road.

People are all evil. I have never seen people so angry with life anywhere.

Shops and places of rest - let's say there is something, but still not what you need. We even bought food in Moscow. There is no choice in Pavlik.

The cost of a train ticket is something like 4 thousand, and if you don’t take it, then you’ll run like a hare or give 50 rubles to the controllers.

There are many ruins in the city center. New buildings were being built there now.

Well, the most important thing is that there is work only in the production of kiries or firefighting gadgets.

So you will have to travel to Moscow to work.

    Always very dirty.

IMHO. Take a loan and buy closer, in the same Zhelezka (a hundred times better and if you like the direction)

    Advantages:

    Buy a scarf or shawl

    Flaws:

A corner forgotten by everyone, there are very few cafes

From Moscow it takes one and a half hours to travel from Kursky Station one way. In general, we went for the scarves) probably everyone goes for them, because it is the scarves and painted shawls that this small town is famous throughout Russia. There's not much to see in the city. ... there is a monument to the founders of the city. ... but there is not a single sign on it indicating what this monument means. ...None of his sculptures are recognizable:(From the monument, the central street of Mira goes down (by the way, there are only two large streets in the city - Mira and Kirov) We pass the Church of the Resurrection on the left (there is nothing special to see inside. They are not allowed into the bell tower - only with the permission of the priest or on Easter) In the city, by the way, there are only two large streets: Mira and Kirova. And along Mira Street we go further and there is only one attraction left ahead - the Intercession - Vasilievsky Monastery, beautiful, large, there is a beautiful painting inside the temple. The territory is well-groomed and there are not many people, There were no parishioners except us. We looked, now all that remains is to go to the company store of scarves and shawls on Herzen St. 1. The choice is amazing and your eyes wide open... the designs are different, a wide range of colors. The prices, in my opinion, are quite high and overpriced. Shawl 90×90 - 980 rubles. And depending on the size, it reaches up to 5000 thousand rubles. There are wool, lye, cashmere. There are many sellers, but even with such prices they are extremely reluctant to serve... I, of course, understand that their work is not the best interesting, but asking them for something is unpleasant. ...As a summary, you can see the city in a couple of hours, the scarves are beautiful, and you should have a couple in your wardrobe. The second time, we won’t go unless necessary!

    Advantages:

beautiful monastery, home of the best scarves

    Flaws:

some houses are in terrible condition

The city of Pavlovsky Posad is known primarily for its Museum of the History of the Shawl, as well as in general for the production of such painted scarves, which are incredibly popular both in Russia and abroad (my foreign friend, a fan of Russia, has four such scarves). Therefore, basically all tourists heading to this city go to see the headscarf museum. We initially went to Pavlovsky Posad NOT for the scarves, but to see the city as a whole. I really like to visit small towns in the Moscow region (and if I’m lucky, even further) to get an impression of the place as a whole. ATTRACTIONS: The easiest way to get to the city is by train, so we will move from the railway station. If you are planning a cultural program (museums), then you should cross the railway tracks and go along Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street a little lower, into at first glance a completely unsightly area of the city, past slightly ominous factories.

    1. The Pavlovo Posad Shawl Manufactory is located in the north of the city, not far from the bank of the Klyazma River, and the MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF THE SCARF AND SHAWL is located at 37 on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. The exposition is small, just as the museum building is small (located in the Pavlovo-Pokrovsky cultural center), everything is cute and provincial. The exhibition is closed on Monday! 2. Across the road from the Museum of the History of Shawls and Shawls is the MUSEUM OF LOCAL HISTORY. In front of the museum building there is a small Eiffel Tower, because earlier in Soviet times a Russian-French community of weavers-manufacturers was formed in the city. In addition to the permanent exhibition about the history of the region and crafts, in the museum you can get acquainted with interesting works of craftsmen, such as wood crafts, printed scarves (yes, there are also scarves) and much more.

    3. You can get acquainted with the crafts popular in these parts not only in the museum. On the other side of the road - and this is where you should go to walk around the city - on Revolution Square, there is a SCULPTURE IN HONOR OF THE FOUNDING OF THE CITY. The sculpture consists of five figures symbolizing the industries of the region. Very interesting to look at. By the way, the church in the background is the TEMPLE OF THE RESURRECTION OF THE WORD - the calling card of Pavlovsky Posad. It can be seen from afar. The temple is the hallmark of the city; it really looks very impressive and bright. It is also worth noting the interesting clock on the bell tower.

The temple is located across the river, which is clearly a popular spot in the city. In any case, all wedding festivities take place here! This view is on the left side of the river. It’s quite decent: a chapel, benches, even some kind of platform for festivities, similar to a helicopter. And on the right side of the bridge, unfortunately, the view is not the most welcoming. This place could become a wonderful city park if something was done about it. It’s true that it’s possible that it’s very nice here in the summer, but in April... garbage, dirt, in a word, despondency. However, it is worth passing by this underpark in order to go further to one of the main attractions of Pavlovsky Posad: POKROVSKO-VASILIEVSKY MONASTERY. Beautiful quiet place. Calms. In general, REVOLUTION SQUARE seems to be the main square of the city. Nearby is the administration building, there is a small park, rather an alley, around a cafe, there is even a tank (and the walls of the garages are painted with drawings dedicated to the valor of Russian soldiers in the Great Patriotic War). While you walk to the square along Lenin Street, you can look at the building of the old fire tower. This is one of the few beautiful and unusual buildings in the city. In general, in many provincial towns these are the nicest fire towers. Otherwise, I don’t really want to look at the city, honestly. A particularly gloomy, depressing view opens from the railway station. Don’t rush to run when you see brown-gray, rat-colored residential high-rise buildings. There is a lot to see in Pavlovsky Posad, and some houses even have some kind of ancient charm, albeit dilapidated. Some have antique type signs. I like that you can turn down a side street and find yourself almost in a village. But in general, it is clear that, unfortunately, they still do not really care about the buildings here; in any case, in a rather decent, interesting-looking tower, they simply made a pharmacy. By the way, at first we confused it with a fire tower. CONCLUSION: Pavlovsky Posad is a cozy city, suitable for a one-day trip.

-There are no places to rest, only forests

-Terrible garbage, next to the shawl factory between the houses of Kalyaev St. 4 and Kalyaeva St. 7

    - Far away, bitch!

    -There is no work.

-No landscaping, very bad roads and sidewalks, lack of lighting. Snow from the roads in the form of snowdrifts lies on the roadway and sidewalks for half a year. Because of this, dirt in the spring, dust in the summer, huge puddles in courtyards and between courtyards. Poor performance of housing and communal services.

-Roads, tap water is rusty, there are not enough parking spaces, a lot of trees were cut down for parking and a playground

    Advantages:

    clean, monastery, museum

    Flaws:

    few cafes

A small town located near Moscow. It is small both geographically and in terms of population. A huge number of chain stores, as in principle, everywhere. The streets are clean, of course there are small abandoned construction sites here and there. There are not many attractions in this town, but among the most significant are the Pokrovsko-Vasilievsky Monastery and the Museum of Russian Shawls. This museum has various types of scarves and shawls from the 18th to early 20th centuries. There are very few cafes, it is difficult to find a good place to eat. True, there is a kiosk next to the station, they have very tasty shawarma). There is a small cinema and an Ice Palace where you can go ice skating. That's basically all there is in this town.
