Many Russians know very well that in their native country they can relax just as well as abroad. There are plenty of uniquely beautiful places in Russia. We invite you to choose the village of Golubitskaya. There are a lot of attractions and entertainment here, so you won’t get bored. The once small settlement, named after the centurion Golubitsky, is gaining momentum in the tourism service every year. New modern guest houses are appearing here, cafes and shops are opening, interesting leisure facilities are being built for big and small tourists. We offer a brief overview of the most interesting sights of Golubitskaya Stanitsa, as well as reviews of them from Russian tourists.
Location
For those who have never been to these places, let us explain that the village of Golubitskaya is located on the narrow isthmus of Peresyp in the Krasnodar Territory. The isthmus is a spit on the Taman Peninsula. In the area of the village its width does not exceed 2 km. It separates the Sea of Azov from the Akhtanizovsky estuary. While relaxing in Golubitskaya, you can choose to go to the beach located in the Temryuk Bay of the sea or to the estuary. This geographical feature is a unique landmark of Golubitskaya. 8 km from the village is Temryuk, a city with a rich history and interesting sights. You can get there by minibus or bus. Travel time is up to 10 minutes. Anapa is 55 km from Golubitskaya, and Krasnodar is 143 km away.
Where to go from Golubitskaya
If you looked at the list of attractions and were surprised by the meager choice of entertainment, do not immediately abandon your holiday in Golubitskaya. From here it is very convenient to travel around the Taman Peninsula and the entire Krasnodar Territory. Places you need to visit (active links, read details about each place):
- lotus valley,
- dolmens of Gelendzhik and waterfalls of the Zhane River,
- Taman,
- Novorossiysk,
- to Crimea (via Temryuk).
How to get there
Of many Russian cities, it is more convenient to go to Golubitskaya through Anapa. You can get here by plane or train. The airport is located 12 km from the city in the village of Vityazevo. There you can immediately take a taxi that will take you to Golubitskaya, or take a regular bus to Anapa to the bus station. There you will need to change to a bus to Temryuk, and then take a minibus to the village.
You can go by train to the Verkhnee Dzhemete station. It is 8 km from the city. There is no train station in Anapa itself.
In addition, if you wish, you can go to Golubitskaya by car. You need to follow the Don highway, and at kilometer 1160 turn following the sign for the Taman Peninsula (towards Slavyansk-on-Kuban).

Basic moments
The village is located on the Golubitskaya Strelka, a hilly isthmus separating the Akhtanizovsky Estuary and the Temryuk Gulf of the Azov Sea. Since the end of the 18th century, the village has grown around the farm of the Black Sea Cossack Grigory Golubitsky, who became famous in the battles of the Russian-Turkish war of 1787-1791. Grigory was in the first ranks of soldiers who stormed enemy fortresses, and more than once went on sea voyages on Cossack “seagulls”, which boldly boarded enemy ships. For his bravery and courage, Prince Potemkin promoted the Cossack to officer and gave him land on the Taman Peninsula.
Today, more than 5,000 people live in the village of Golubitskaya. Most of the adult population is associated with the developed hospitality industry. Many private estates rent out separate rooms equipped for receiving holidaymakers. Mini-hotels, amusement parks, and cafes and restaurants have been built in the village. There are several beaches here, and there are rental points for bicycles, pleasure boats, beach and sports equipment.
In the surrounding area, vineyards belonging to the Golubitskoe Estate winery are planted on 1,600 hectares. The vines grow in unique soil, rich in minerals from the emissions of mud volcanoes. Excursions are organized to the central estate of the winery. There is a tasting room and a shop with a large selection of fine wines.
Beaches of the village Golubitskaya
The sea coast near the village of Golubitskaya is covered with sand mixed with pieces of mollusk shells. These fragments are mostly ground and rolled by the surf, but there are also sharp fragments of shell rock. To avoid minor cuts, you should buy beach shoes.
The central beach of the village is equipped with attractions, and there are cafes everywhere. In addition, there are several beaches belonging to boarding houses and holiday homes. Entrance to them is open to everyone. The sea here is shallow and warm, the coast is flat. The water temperature at the edge of the beach in the summer season is +23...+25 °C, often the sea warms up to +27...+28 °C. You can swim from mid-May to September inclusive.
Natural attractions
On warm summer nights, the waters of Temryuk Bay sometimes fluoresce. Already at sunset, the sea seems to be illuminated from within with a mysterious emerald glow and the surf is decorated with myriads of flickering lights rising from the depths. Algae and microorganisms emit wonderful light. They say that the glow of the sea can be seen from the windows of airplanes flying over Taman, and even from space. On such magical nights, you should definitely take a romantic swim, and you can take absolutely amazing footage with high-resolution smartphone cameras.
In the estuaries opposite the mouth of the Kuban and its numerous branches crossing Taman, sea water is largely desalinated. A special ecosystem characterized by biodiversity has developed here. Having thrown their fishing rods from the boat, experienced fishermen will be surprised to catch river fish from the sea: pike, bream, carp. Moving out to sea a little further from the shore, you can admire schools of smiling dolphins hunting nimble mullet.
After strong storms in the waters of the Sea of Azov, long sandbanks form near the coast, where you can swim and sunbathe. But one morning you will no longer see them: the waves wash away these islands within a few days. By the way, after storms, many gobies appear near the coast. Catching fish for dinner is not difficult, and you can use not only a fishing rod, but also just a mesh net.
Within the village of Golubitskaya there is a mud lake of the same name measuring approximately 500 by 200 meters. This is the crater of an old mud volcano. Its depth does not exceed one and a half meters, the bottom is dense, and the slopes of the funnel are gentle. Tourists and locals take mud baths here. Doctors recommend these procedures for the treatment of joints and skin rejuvenation.
Another natural phenomenon is observed in the Golubitskaya area. Once every few years, a mud volcano erupts in the sea bay opposite the village. At the same time, tremors of a local earthquake are felt on the coast. Underground gases erupt from the seafloor under high pressure, creating a fountain of liquid soil ejection. This pulp rises 30-50 meters into the air. A cone-shaped island grows at the site of the eruption. Waves gradually erode the clay formation, saturating the water with healing substances. The short-lived island disappears into the depths of the sea, but after 6-8 years the process is repeated, and the shaky firmament is reborn. However, scientists have not yet been able to predict the next eruption.
Excursions
The Taman Peninsula is small, so tourists vacationing in the village of Golubitskaya can access any of its attractions within an hour's bus ride. It will be convenient to use the services of private guides offering excursions. They will take you to the most interesting corners of Taman. If you wish, you can explore the surrounding area in your own or rented car.
At the Golubitskoye Estate winery you will be introduced to the secrets of wine production. Tastings are held here, and the wines you like can be purchased in the company store.
An excursion trip to the ethnographic village of Ataman, where Cossack farmsteads and craft workshops have been recreated, will be memorable. Theatrical performances are held there and folklore ensembles perform. The visit program also includes a delicious lunch at a Cossack tavern, where dishes are prepared according to ancient recipes.
Not far from Atamani there is an archaeological location “Hermonassa-Tmutarakan”. The ruins of a Greek polis from the ancient era, as well as the remains of structures from the times of Ancient Rus', were excavated here. Valuable artifacts found by archaeologists are displayed in the showcases of the museum in Temryuk.
The most vivid impressions will be left by a trip to the Lotus Valley. In the famous valley you will see not a land lowland, but a sea estuary with gently rolling hills. The surface of the water is covered with large green leaves, reminiscent of malachite dishes with a pearl-matte sheen. It seems that you can step on them and walk from shore to shore. Above the magnificent green “sidewalk” rise stems with buds and lush blooming flowers, some of them the size of a football. Fragrant petals are painted in a palette of cream, pink, and red shades. The lotus bloom lasts 35-45 days, and this miracle happens, as if by order, just at the peak of the resort season in Taman - from July to August. You cannot pick rare flowers; they are listed in the Red Book. Don’t even try to secretly break the taboo: nature itself will gently punish you. The plucked lotus will sadly wither in a few minutes, and the mood will be ruined. Before your trip, don’t forget to charge your smartphone to take a wonderful photo session here.
It is curious that Indian lotuses have difficulty taking root in neighboring bays and eriks. Fastidious plants require a special climate and water composition, a weak current, a shallow depth of a warm reservoir, loose silt saturated with certain minerals, covering the bottom. Hydrobiologists have repeatedly tried to create new lotus plantations here, but after a few years the plants died: the young shoots were choked by the thickets of reeds and sedges. Only this estuary with its unique ecosystem turned out to be a suitable reservoir for lotuses. By the way, in our country you can admire these magnificent flowers, growing freely in nature, only on the Taman Peninsula, in the reserve near Astrakhan and in the Far East.
The walk to the Lotus Valley begins from the pier of the boat station in the area of the village of Peresyp, which is 12 km from the village of Golubitskaya. From the local bazaar to the pier you can walk, take a bus or taxi. Motor boats are designed for 12-15 passengers. When all the seats are filled with tourists, the boat sets off. While waiting for the next group of excursionists to gather, you can while away the time - usually 10-15 minutes - under a canopy that protects from the Kuban sun. There are benches and a TV on. For an hour-long walk along the estuary, the boatman collects 500 rubles per person.
Things to do in Golubitskaya
On Kurortnaya Street, which stretches along the sea, the main entertainment centers of the village of Golubitskaya are located - the Nemo Dolphinarium, an amusement park with a Ferris wheel. Purchases
There are several chain supermarkets open in Golubitskaya, and there are also many small shops. For seasonal farm fruits, meat and fish delicacies, goat cheese and other dairy delicacies, you can go to the food market. It is located away from the sea, in the upper part of the village, on Krasnaya Street, 137. The market opens daily from 06:00, trading continues until 14:00. On the same street there is a pharmacy, the Alkomir wine store and private mini-markets.
In many resort villages in Taman, withdrawing cash from a bank card is a problem. Often, for this simple operation you have to travel to the regional center. There are three ATMs in Golubitskaya. One of them can be found at the Lukoil gas station, which is at the entrance to the village, the other - at the Magnit supermarket (Primorsky Lane, 16). You can also top up your account here. A 24-hour ATM awaits customers in the agro premises (Krasnaya St., 141).
Where to eat
Right at the entrance to the village of Golubitskaya, tourists are greeted by the cafe “Syty Dvorik” (Kurortnaya St., 1). There is a children's playground here, and children are entertained by animators. The establishment welcomes guests from 09:00 to 02:00. The average bill for lunch with a glass of local wine is 1,500 rubles per person.
You can spend a pleasant evening in the stylish Romanov restaurant (Krasnaya St., 260). The food here is delicious and the service is friendly. An impressive wine list is available. The price range for dinner for two is 3000-8000 rubles.
In the village there are many establishments where, by resort standards, you can have a meal quite inexpensively, in the range of 300-400 rubles. A good option is the Fiesta canteen, located on Kurortnaya Street, 76-A. On a hot day, they offer refreshing okroshka made with kvass or kefir, and cold beetroot soup.
Where to stay
Dozens of recreation centers, guest houses and mini-hotels have been built in the village of Golubitskaya. Owners of private estates rent out rooms and separate apartments with kitchens. In the off-season you can rent a room here for 230-375 rubles per day. Tourists are attracted by the low cost of living at the guest houses “Sea Air” (Ozernaya St., 8), “Orchid” (Kurortnaya St., 52), “Azov Evenings” (Sovetskaya St., 2). From the first days of June, prices for accommodation increase noticeably.
In the guest houses "Persona" on the street. Kubanskaya, 36, “Home comfort” on the street. Severnaya, 45, spacious rooms are equipped with kitchens with sets of necessary equipment and utensils. The cost of living is from 1250 rubles per day.
Several hotels have swimming pools and saunas. Among them is the Onyx Hotel (Kurortnaya St., 127), located right by the sea. The rooms with loggias and private bathrooms are equipped with TVs, refrigerators, and air conditioners. On the territory there are sports equipment, a children's playground, and a parking lot. Sea
Of course, 100% of Russians go to the sea in the summer for a beach holiday. We can say that the main attraction of Golubitskaya is the beach. Its covering is sand and small shells, which is convenient for vacationers with children. On such a beach, children always have plenty of material to build “fortresses” and bake “cakes.” Another pleasant feature of the beach is that the seabed here is almost perfectly flat, sandy, clean, without boulders, and the depth does not begin immediately. This is an ideal place to relax with young children.
The beach also has its drawbacks. Firstly, it is narrow, so it is difficult to find free places during the season. Secondly, it is poorly equipped. According to reviews, toilets and changing cabins have not yet been built here, nor has a rescue tower. The service is organized by annoying traders of all sorts of things and entrepreneurs offering water entertainment in the form of banana boat rides, jet skis and so on.
"Golden Sands" - "Hydrobuilder"
Have you just reached the therapeutic and recreational Golden Sands? Pay attention to the 400-meter beach in Golubitskaya along its regularly cleaned perimeter, as well as the space of the Gidrostroitel sports complex

The entry into the sea here is quite uniform, the surface goes down everywhere at the same angle. In some places it is so shallow that there are excellent spaces for children's pranks. Little ones will have fun even without little beads: at one end of the indicated coastal edge there are attractions, at the other there is a point for rides on bananas and “tablets”, swings.
At the end of the zone you will find a coastal shack and a side street leading to the Anna State House, the Kuban and Breeze health centers, as well as to the main building of the Gidrostroitel health resort.
It is worth paying attention to one more circumstance. There are already a few trees growing on the shore
Akhtanizovsky Estuary
This body of water is called by many the most beautiful place on the Taman Peninsula. It can safely be called a natural landmark of Golubitskaya. The estuary is freshwater, since water enters it from the Kuban River, and not from the sea, although it is, figuratively speaking, two steps away. The reservoir has its own ecosystem. The coastal cattail thickets are home to many birds, which are very interesting to watch. For fishermen, the estuary is a dream. The reservoir is home to bream, pike, carp, tench, catfish, perch, ram, silver carp and many other fish. True, to catch it, you need to have a boat. Note that this is a fairly large body of water. Its maximum length is 18 km and its width is 8 km.
Excursions and tours of the village
Visit the mud volcano Hephaestus
The Taman Peninsula is famous for the fact that there are more than 30 volcanoes there. Only from them it is not hot lava that erupts, but liquid and various gases containing hydrogen sulfide, bromine, and iodine.
Volcano Hephaestus is considered the oldest, which is used for mud treatment. The fact that local muds have healing properties has been known since ancient times. With the help of such procedures, radiculitis, polyarthritis, pyelonephritis, and diseases of the nervous system are effectively treated.
The first medical institution of the Taman Peninsula was opened near the mountain called “Rotten”. This establishment has a balneological profile. A military hospital was opened here in the 60s of the 19th century.
These days, local authorities are trying to make good use of the Hephaestus mud volcano. Perhaps Mount Rotten will once again become a popular place in the Temryuk region. Comfortable conditions are created for visitors. Each group of tourists is met by a guide. He leads them along the alley to the mountain. Where the mud volcanoes are. You can sit in a cafe, look at the inhabitants of the aquarium, or have a good time at the shooting range.
Visit the Lotus Valley - Akhtanizovsky Estuary: remember the spectacle for life
This valley is considered one of the important miraculous attractions located in the Temryuk region. This place is called the Akhtanizovsky Estuary; it is located in the very center. On one side of it is the village of Akhtanizovskaya, on the other is the city of Temryuk. Amazing lotuses bloom here between July and August. If you find yourself in this valley in the middle of summer, you can get aesthetic pleasure from the vastness of the Taman estuaries and from the sight of the most beautiful Indian lotuses. Tourists also take boat trips here.
Mud Lake
This is another unique natural site in Golubitskaya. The lake is small, its surface is only 250 m2, and its maximum depth in spring and winter is up to 2 meters. In the heat of summer it is reduced to 1.4-1.5 meters. That is, a tall person can easily reach its middle. The lake has very high mineralization, and the entire bottom is covered with healing black silt, rich in minerals. Hydrogen sulfide, iodine, and bromine were found in it. It is incredibly popular among tourists. Dozens of people take free mud baths here every day. In addition, dry mud can be bought in the village and brought home. It is packaged in 2 kg bags. It is noteworthy that the mud lake is located just a hundred meters from the sea, which is very convenient. People, having covered themselves with mud, can wash it comfortably into the sea. There are no other natural attractions in Golubitskaya. But there are many interesting objects built by man.

All this, of course, for a fee. For example, swimming with dolphins for 10 minutes costs 5,000 rubles. The Dolphinarium is the best answer to the question of where to go in Golubitskaya. This object is located at the address: Kurortny Boulevard, building 3.
Golubitskaya for children: TOP entertainment
Golubitskaya pays great attention to younger audiences. Amusement parks and other entertainment centers are created with soul and imagination to give children an unforgettable pastime. Positivity and a dose of fun are guaranteed.
Dolphinarium "Nemo"
The network water park "Nemo" has captured the Krasnodar region, without bypassing the newfangled resort - Golubitskaya. The water park is located in the center of the village and, like a magnet, attracts children and adults. In addition to dolphins, the Golubitsky Dolphinarium is home to fur seals and belugas.
The show with dolphins is aimed not only at entertaining the audience, but also at introducing the world of beautiful sea inhabitants. Dolphins are distinguished by incredible intelligence, dexterity and devotion to humans. Watching them interact with the trainer is very interesting.
The show with fur seals is no less exciting. These animals are a storehouse of humor and mischief. A funny performance always raises a wave of laughter.
In addition to the show, the dolphinarium organizes photo sessions and swimming with dolphins, as well as dolphin therapy, useful for people suffering from stress and diseases of the nervous system. After the performance, it is impossible to pass by the souvenir shops. Everyone wants to buy an interesting thing to remember a wonderful day.
Amusement park "Park of Wonders"
In the "Park of Wonders" there are carousels for every taste. The most visited are:
"Sky Vortex." This attraction quickly gained popularity. Ten years ago it could only be found in large cities, but now it has “reached” such small resorts as Golubitskaya. “Sky Vortex” is a huge moving tube in which a tornado, galactic rotation, and so on are simulated. The effect is created through “gravity games”, as well as visual and sound effects. By buying a ticket to Sky Vortex, a tourist will provide himself with sensations that are impossible in real life.
"Bringing Down the House". Ever seen a house literally turned upside down? In the “Park of Wonders” such a rarity can not be easily seen, but also examined from roof to base. The house is full of furniture, and everything is upside down. Here everyone can feel like Alice in Wonderland.
Dino Park. Fans of Jurassic Park should visit the park of “live” dinosaurs. The moving figures of Tyrannosaurus, Diplodocus and Liopleurodon are created with maximum authenticity. They growl, open their toothy mouths, exhale noisily and blink. A tour of the dino park is not only entertaining, but also educational. Here children will learn all about the creatures that lived before the beginning of time.
"The Giant's House" In this pavilion, even the tallest man will feel like a baby. The bath easily fits a dozen people, the powder compact resembles a closet, and you can’t climb onto the chair without help. It's no wonder people come here for impressive photographs.
Trampoline arena "Grasshopper". The only trampoline hall in the Temryuk region. The large-scale complex is equipped with trampolines of all difficulty levels: from professional to children's (safe).
Game simulators. The amusement park has a separate complex entirely dedicated to computer games. Gamers can expect modern game consoles, slot machines and good old games: bowling, claw, water pistols, air hockey. A child can “hang out” in the playroom all day and will want to come here again.
These are just a few of the attractions of the “Wonder Park”. To visit all the carousels, tourists will have to spend more than one day. But they will never regret it.
Selfie park “Wonders of the World”
Everyone dreams of being photographed against the backdrop of the world's most famous landmarks. And you can make this dream come true without leaving Golubitskaya. In the selfie park, tourists will see:
Sights are made in reduced sizes, but with detailed accuracy. Thematic photo sessions are held here, but most often tourists walk alone and take selfies. This is where the name of this unusual park comes from.
Alley "Lukomorye"
In 2022, a vacant lot overgrown with grass was turned into an alley of magic. The walking area is enclosed by a decorative fence with lanterns. There are benches along the paths, beautiful gazebos built, and bridges across the lawns - everything is made of light wood.
On the alley there is a summer stage, a cafe, a swimming pool with swan boats, a shooting gallery, a planetarium, and also a children's carousel. A special atmosphere is created by animators dressed in costumes of knights, princesses and cartoon and movie characters.
Butterfly farm
What to see in Golubitskaya? Of course, exotic butterflies! They are bred on a special farm. Here, in a very spacious room where tourists are allowed to enter, dozens of species of butterflies flutter, which are found on different continents of the planet. Adorable creatures can sit in the arms of tourists. In addition, beautiful little birds live in this room. The excursion leaves a very enthusiastic and vivid impression. The farm is also located on Kurortny Boulevard.
Tips for Preparing and Saving
Some tips from experienced travelers:
- Be sure to take a first aid kit with the necessary medications. Despite the fact that there are pharmacies in any locality, they are not always within walking distance and have the necessary assortment. On vacation at sea, you need to take antipyretic, antiallergic medications, as well as medications for intestinal infections.
- Don't forget the Compulsory Health Insurance policy for yourself and your children.
- But sand toys and inflatable floats can be purchased locally so they don't take up space in your luggage. There is a wide selection and good prices for these products.
- Take a multicooker if you travel by car and plan to cook on your own, it is very helpful.
- Baby food for babies, diapers and other hygiene products can be bought at Magnit or pharmacies.
- Do not buy food on the beach from vendors who walk around with bags and offer corn, fish, and baked goods. Often these products become the cause of intestinal poisoning.
- When booking privately, for example, through Avito, do not make an advance payment if you are not sure of the integrity of the owners of the proposed housing.
What will help you save on your vacation?
- Plan your vacation outside of high season. May, June and September are the most suitable months for saving your accommodation budget. The choice of accommodation options is greater, and the prices are lower. A bonus will be a small number of vacationers.
- Prepare your own food. This will save your wallet from unnecessary expenses, and sometimes save you from troubles in the form of intestinal poisoning.
- Buy products in large stores, prices there are much lower. But it is better to buy fruits and vegetables at the market, there is a large selection of local products.
- Buy plane tickets several months before your trip. The nearest airport is Anapa, a 40-minute drive from the village. You can estimate the cost of tickets for the dates you need in the calendar below (prices are given for a round-trip ticket per person. Click on the desired month to see a breakdown of prices by date):
If you have not yet chosen where you will live and want to save money when booking, we recommend using the RoomGuru service. Firstly, it contains hotels, apartments and guest houses from many different booking systems, so you won’t miss out on a worthwhile option. Secondly, you can immediately compare prices for one place in different services and book where it is cheaper (this is not always Booking!).
Farm with crocodiles
This is another place in Golubitskaya that you should definitely go to. In fact, this is not a farm, but a small zoo, designed in the shape of a volcano. Not only crocodiles live here, but also other reptiles, as well as arachnids, various overseas insects, monkeys and exotic birds. In addition, the farm has a pen with rabbits, goats and chickens, with which children are allowed to frolic. Adults understand the purpose for which they are kept here, but children do not think about it. They are just playing with cute animals.
The farm is located at: st. Sovetskaya, house 149. Opinions about this establishment are mixed. Tourists like the design of the farm and the diversity of its inhabitants, but many feel sorry for the monkeys, who look rather sad.
Beach
The beach in Golubitskaya is public and consists of fine sand and shells. Children really like it, as it is easy to build various “structures” for play from it.
The bottom is also pleasant for swimming and does not require special shoes.
On the beach you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers, or sit right on the sand.
Guests are offered a variety of water activities - catamarans, jet skis, trampolines and water slides.
In the cafe on the beach you can buy soft drinks, ice cream and everyone's favorite boiled corn.
Golubitskaya has a narrow beach coastline, so the concentration of people is quite large:
Although, this applies more to the central part of the village, where the main hotels and recreation centers are concentrated.
On the outskirts of the village you can quite comfortably stay on the beach, but there is no infrastructure or entertainment there.
"Lukomorye"
This is the name of the zoo, located at the address: st. Embankment, 1a. Both children and adults vacationing in Golubitskaya visit the Lukomorye Zoo with great interest.
There are a lot of animals and birds here. They all live in spacious enclosures in which conditions are created that are close to their natural habitat. There is an area in the zoo with predators. Here you can see lions, Himalayan bears, wolves, tigers, foxes and other animals. There are even very rare white tigers and black wolves here.
The zoo also has areas with monkeys, artiodactyls, reptiles, and rodents. Many animals (not dangerous) can be fed with food that is sold on the zoo premises specifically for this purpose. Anyone can pet the animal, and even take a photo with some of them.
An entrance ticket for adults to the Lukomorye Zoo in Golubitskaya costs 500 rubles, and for children over 5 years old - 400 rubles. Visitors have different opinions about the zoo. Most tourists consider it an excellent place to visit with children, where they can take care of animals and learn to love them.
Renting housing in the private sector: prices, features
Golubitskaya (photos of the village and the beach from different angles will help you decide on the location of rental housing) is famous for its hospitality. Here you can rent a room from the owners of private houses.

Amusement park and circus
Among the entertainment for children in Golubitskaya, I would like to highlight a park with various attractions located on Kurortny Boulevard.
This is one of the most fun places where kids can frolic all day long. There are several inflatable trampolines, swings, carousels, a Ferris wheel, roller coasters, and mazes. Prices vary from 50 to 150 rubles. Mostly people come here in the evening when the heat subsides. In the park you can not only ride, but also have a snack. There are several cafes here. There is a circus tent next to the park. There are different troupes performing here. The entrance ticket costs 200 rubles.
Best time to relax
The village has a warm, moderately humid climate, suitable for the health of children. Quite comfortable temperatures for relaxation are established in May and last until October. The shallow sea warms up towards the end of spring, and you can swim in September.
The sun shines all summer, but due to the proximity of the sea, the street thermometer in Golubitskaya does not exceed +30 ºC. The early start of the season and the child-friendly climate played a role in the growing popularity of the village among family vacationers.
Aquapark
The most visited place in the station. Golubitskaya - Amazon water park. This facility is located at 76 Kurortnaya Street. The park is small, there are only three adult slides and one for children, but there are several swimming pools. There is also a cafe on site. The water park hosts foam parties and other entertainment events. The entrance ticket for adults costs 850 rubles, and for children under 1.30 m tall and over 3 years old - 450 rubles.
Opinions about the water park vary. Some tourists like everything here. Others note the small number of slides, lack of shade, poor selection in the cafe, and too high prices for the services provided.
Accommodation
In the village of Golubitskaya, you can choose various accommodation options depending on your budget and expectations from your vacation. Let's look at the pros and cons of each option.
Hotels and Inns
Pros:
- Availability of a swimming pool
- Availability of a playground, children's club and animation
- Your own dining room on site - there is no need to resolve the issue of food every time
- Proximity to the beach
Minuses:
- High price
Guest houses and apartments
Pros:
- Availability of a bathroom in the room, unlike campsites
- Shared or private (in apartment) kitchen
- Low price compared to hotels
Minuses:
- Often far from the beach
Camping and recreation centers
Pros:
- Usually located right on the beach
- Availability of a shared kitchen and barbecue
- Low price
Minuses:
- Shared showers and toilets
- Lack of air conditioning
Private sector
The private sector is essentially ordinary apartments. They have a kitchen and toilet, but no service.
Advertisements from private owners can be found on special websites, for example: https://hochu-na-yuga.ru and https://azur.ru, and read reviews there.
You can look for offers for renting apartments and rooms on www.avito.ru, but here it is important to make a very informed decision, as there are cases of fraud. It’s unpleasant to transfer a deposit, and upon arrival to find that such an apartment did not exist, and the seller’s phone numbers do not answer.
A selection of budget options
If you want to find accommodation on the spot, most likely you will find it - the Vacation Accommodation Service, which now has points in every resort town of the Krasnodar Territory, will help you with this.
But it is better, of course, to book in advance. Below is a small list of verified accommodation offers in the village of Golubitskaya (based on our experience and reviews) with prices for June 2022:

We chose to stay in the Guest House on Vzletnaya Street. But, it must be said that it is better to choose a vacation spot and book in advance, since the resort village is small, but very popular. We, who arrived without a reservation, had very limited choice.
Dinopark
You should definitely come here with your children. This park features moving and roaring dinosaur models that you can touch. Some even allow you to climb ladders.
In addition, there is a so-called petting zoo, which has a small pen with a dozen rabbits, a play park and exotic birds kept in small enclosures.
Dinopark is located at: st. Embankment, 3. Entrance ticket for adults costs 400 rubles, and for children 300 rubles. Opinions about this entertainment facility vary. All visitors like the fact that the park has sun canopies. Another plus is that the dinosaur models can be touched with your hands. Disadvantages include an unkempt play park and poor conditions for keeping rabbits and birds.
The most popular resorts of the Azov Sea
Yeysk
This is the main resort and the most crowded vacation spot on the Sea of Azov. The air gate is also located here - Yeysk Airport. The city is surrounded on all sides by water, as it is located at the very end of the Yeisk Spit. There are several beaches, all of them are sandy or small pebbles - very useful for foot massage. There are specialized beaches for children and youth. They differ in the depth and length of the gentle entrance to the sea. The sea in the Yeisk Estuary is generally ideal for young children: shallow, shallows alternating with islands and depressions. On the children's beach, the maximum depth does not exceed one and a half meters. The entire shore is strewn with kids of different ages, carefree splashing in the water.
There is something to do in the city besides a beach holiday. There is a water park "Nemo" (prices 2022 - from 700 rubles for children and from 1200 rubles for adults), there is an oceanarium, parks with children's playgrounds and attractions, a children's center and a crocodile farm. Of course, at the resort, even if it is an unofficial “children’s” health resort, there will be entertainment for adults: clubs, restaurants, saunas and all other sources of pleasure are at your service.
Temryuk
The second most popular resort on the coast, where tourists successfully combine healing mud treatment on the Miska and Gnilaya mountains with tastings at a local winery. The city itself is not located on the seashore - the nearest beach in the village of Golubitskaya is at least 5-10 km away. People often come here from other villages: to walk around the city, visit the market (by the way, don’t hesitate to bargain and reduce prices), and also visit the famous mud volcanoes. Fridge magnets and local wine are usually brought from Temryuk.
Taman
This is one of the most ancient cities in the country - in 2008 it celebrated its 2600th anniversary. A seaside holiday here can be combined with exploring unique sights. The beaches of Taman are varied, you can also find secluded places. An endless stream of vacationers flock to mud volcanoes. The main thing is not to overdo it - doctors recommend taking mud baths for no longer than 15 minutes.
Strange house
If you are interested in what to see in Golubitskaya, we suggest you visit the Upside Down House. This building is located on Kurortny Boulevard. Entrance costs 400 rubles. Everything in the house is upside down - chairs, tables, beds are attached to the ceiling, and there are lamps under the feet. The facade of the house and the surrounding area are decorated very interestingly. Impressions about this attraction are twofold. Some people like it for its novelty and unusualness, while others think that 400 rubles for 15 minutes in the house is expensive.
Where to stay
A map of attractions will help you “orient yourself to the area” and choose a hotel or apartment. It is worth saying that everything is not limited to the central beach: many guest complexes have their own beaches. This is how we rested:
The territory is fenced, has its own swing and its own access to the sea.
On the hotel map you can choose a suitable option at a price that starts from several hundred rubles!!!
Or you can stay in the private sector. By the way, using my link you can get a discount of 2100 rubles for booking accommodation in Golubitskaya .
Ostrich farm
As you can see, there are so many entertainments and attractions in the village of Golubitskaya that tourists never get bored. However, there are many interesting places in its surroundings. One of them is an ostrich farm located near the village of Za Rodinu. On the farm you can see not only fleet-footed African ostriches, but also other animals. Essentially, it's a small zoo. It’s called “Zoological Estate”. Raccoons, flop-eared Vietnamese piglets, fine-wool sheep, squirrels, and raccoon dogs live here.
There is a cafe in this wonderful zoo where you can taste dishes made from ostrich eggs. An interesting feature of the “Estate” is that there is a stand on its territory where tourists can write their wishes. The entrance ticket costs 250 rubles. You can get to the village of Za Rodinu by minibus from Temryuk, or by private vehicle from Golubitskaya itself.

Lotus Valley
This natural site is located on the Akhtanizovsky Estuary, which we described above. The fact is that on the banks of this reservoir there are several settlements at once - Temryuk, Za Rodinu, the village of Akhtanizovskaya, Peresyp and Golubitskaya. The Lotus Valley is located closer to Akhtanizovskaya. It is more convenient to get there by private car or with a tour. You need to go to the pier in the village of Strelka, and then by boat. There is no other way to approach flowers. Beautiful pink lotuses are pleasing to the eye in July and August. You can’t tear them, but you can take as many photographs as you like.
In these places you can admire not only flowers, but also birds - seagulls, herons, pelicans. If you're lucky, you can spot muskrats, nutria, and snakes on snags in the water. People's opinions about the magnificent spectacle of the endless sea of blooming lotuses are only enthusiastic.
The excursion costs 600 rubles.
Golubitskaya: TOP-3 attractions for tourists
Newly arrived tourists should visit the most popular attractions, which will create a first impression of the resort, as well as help them get acquainted with its life and culture. These places are easy to visit in one day.
Water park "Sea Reef"
The Sea Reef water park was opened in 2004, becoming the first in Golubitskaya and the largest water slide complex in Taman. The water park occupies an open area two meters from the coast. The sun and sea air add even more attractiveness to its numerous visitors.
On the territory of the Sea Reef there are various pools: heated, wave, extreme and children's with themed slides, palm trees and fountains. The slide complex includes spiral, high-speed slopes, tubes, as well as slopes with steep turns and sharp turns for thrill-seekers.
In addition to attractions, the water park infrastructure includes bars, restaurants, children's play areas, volleyball courts and parking.
Another highlight that attracts tourists is the vibrant animation program. Every day, concerts, parties and competitions are held for children on the open stage. Often a foam party is organized, during which the pools closest to the stage turn into a foam-cloud kingdom.
For those who want to spend as much time as possible in the water park, there are rooms with rooms of a high level of comfort.
“Sea Breeze” is the largest and most popular beach in Golubitskaya. There are all kinds of amenities: sun loungers, changing cabins, sun mushrooms, dry closets and a storage room.
The coastline is covered with fine sand with a lot of shells. The sand is regularly cleaned, so that, despite the massive attendance, the beach is always clean and tidy.
“Sea Breeze” has gained popularity due to its large selection of entertainment. On the shore there are rental points for swimming equipment: catamarans, jet skis. If you wish, you can ride on a “banana”, “tablet” and a water parachute. There is also a volleyball court and a children's area with an inflatable slide and trampolines.
Along the coast there are cafes, stalls with cold drinks and numerous souvenir shops.
Church of Panteleimon the Healer
The Church of Panteleimon the Healer is the religious center of Golubitskaya and the most beautiful building that attracts views from afar.
The building was constructed between 2007 and 2009. in the style of Russian architecture. At the heart of the church there is a quadrangle, to which are adjacent vestibules with triangular pediments. The quadruple ends with an eight with five golden heads on the reels.
In one connection there are a refectory and a three-tier hipped bell tower. The Church of Panteleimon the Healer is the only temple of Golubitskaya.
Volcano Hephaestus in Golubitskaya
When you come to the village on vacation, it is impossible not to visit the mud volcanoes located in its surroundings. Hephaestus is the most popular among holidaymakers. It is located not in Golubitskaya itself, but 15 km from it. Those who have a car can get there on their own. Paid entrance. The ticket costs 300 rubles. People without a car should buy a tour to the volcano. In this case, a ticket can cost 400, 500, or 600 rubles, which depends on the appetites of the company organizing the trips.
Volcano Hephaestus is locally called Rotten Mountain. In fact, it is located on this mountain. Hephaestus is an almost flat plateau of frozen mud with a diameter of about 500 meters. There are several cones and lakes filled with very thick mud. Some of them are equipped with stairs to make it more convenient for tourists to go down to take a bath. There is also a small fresh lake on the plateau in which people can swim after the procedure.
Hephaestus mud is recognized as medicinal, as many substances beneficial to health are found in it. Among them are selenium, iodine, bromine.
Hephaestus is an active volcano. Once every 6-7 years it throws out fountains of mud to a height of 20 meters or more. The last time this phenomenon was observed was in 2011. There is a fee to visit the volcano. The entrance ticket price is 400 rubles.
War monuments and memorials
Looking at modern Golubitskaya, in which every day is a holiday, it is difficult to believe that she was going through difficult times. The Great Patriotic War swept over the village like a black shadow, leaving behind sorrow and at the same time pride. Numerous monuments remind of the exploits of the inhabitants of Golubitskaya.
Walk of Fame
In October 1943, Golubitskaya was liberated from the German invaders. The Walk of Fame is dedicated to the heroes who died in the battles for the freedom of this small village. The memorial complex consists of rows of shields with historical information about the occupation, biographies of fighters native to Golubitskaya, photographs and poems.
The alley was created in 2012. The initiative belonged to the settlement council of veterans. The complex is located on a busy street, near the Church of Panteleimon the Healer. This place was chosen specifically so that as many citizens as possible (including children going to school) would walk along the alley and pay tribute to the memory of the liberating heroes.
Memorial complex "Mass Grave"
In the middle of the green square there are three stone obelisks. Each of them is the tombstone of a mass grave. Soldiers who died during the Civil War in 1919-1920, Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation of the village in 1943, as well as underground Komsomol members and civilians shot by the Nazis during the occupation are buried here.
In 1995, the remains of participants in the Golubitsky landing were added to the burial site. Most of the names were identified. They are carved on the smooth surface of granite slabs installed on both sides of the obelisks. There are 102 names in total. The complex is recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional significance. It is located in a quiet, hidden place and has a cemetery character. There are always fresh wreaths here.
