Warm Key

Warm Key

This amazing name is given to the lake, which is located just a few meters from Bolshoi Yarovoe. This lake is a fresh reservoir of natural origin.

And its name is due to the fact that when you plunge into the salty lake located nearby, and then immediately into Tyoply Klyuch, it seems that the water in the latter is much warmer. This is explained by the different thermal conductivity of water in fresh and salty reservoirs. In fact, the water has the same temperature in both lakes.

Families with children love to visit this place. The lake is home to perches, carp, and crucian carp, which attracts a lot of fishermen. There are also a lot of crayfish here, which indicates the favorable ecological situation of this reservoir.

Crustacean Artemia Salina (Artemia Salina)

While relaxing on the lake, you can notice small red crustaceans that simply swarm in the lake - this is the arthropod crustacean Artemia Salina, which belongs to the class of crustaceans of the family. These crustaceans do not add salinity to the water, as many believe, they are simply found exclusively in salty waters. The crustaceans concentrate in themselves fat drops and chemical elements, such as: iron, titanium, lead, silver, manganese, copper, etc. When the crustacean dies, it forms the healing sulfide-silt mud of the lake.

Every year, 4-7 thousand tons of organic substances from the crustacean Artemia Salina enter Lake Bolshoye Yarovoye. These crustaceans also serve as “orderlies” of the lake against opportunistic microflora.

Disadvantages of rest

The main disadvantages are large crowds of tourists and low level of service:

  • Until 2012, Altaikhimprom was based in Yarovoye, which probably could not remain without consequences
  • Summer in Siberia is fleeting and from early July to mid-August the resort is crowded with tourists
  • If your hotel or guest house is located near the beach, then at night you may feel uncomfortable due to the noise of night bars and discos
  • Poor lighting in courtyard areas, there is a problem with garbage disposal
  • Hotels do not offer all-inclusive accommodation, and the service is not yet at a very high level
  • There is no rich cultural program in Yarovoye, few museums and excursions

One of the main disadvantages is the larger number of vacationers (photo nesiditsa.ru)

Not Egypt, but you can relax!

Relax, catch adrenaline on the slides, smear yourself with healing mud, get an even tan... and finally take a walk in the evening - everything is possible here! Yarovoye Lake is certainly not Egypt, but for me it’s really nothing, and I think the resort is becoming more and more popular and developing!

Night life

The nightlife of Yarovoye deserves special attention. Quite calm during the day, after sunset the city turns into a party center. Most of the activities are concentrated in the Pier 22 area. This beach is considered the center of the resort's nightlife. It will be remembered by fans of club entertainment with thematic discos, the most summer music especially for guests from all over Siberia, unique shows of dancers, animators, freaks and MCs. Laser technologies, holographic, fire shows, foam parties, open-air on the sand near the Malibu bar - all this is a bright, reckless and uncontrollably fun night "Pier 22". The party zone will not leave anyone indifferent. It’s not for nothing that it is compared to Kazantip and Ibiza. But these party centers are far away, and the pearl of Altai Yarovoe is very close.

The night city is multifaceted. The 24-hour bars and clubs, particularly the Malibu at Pier 22, offer a variety of music, from crazy rave to highly technical electronica and romantic ballads performed by live bards. The bright shine of lights, original melodies, the intoxicating aroma of the lake, the night beach, the moonlit path of the lake and the starry sky above - this is how tourists remember the city of Yarovoye at night.
