It is one of the longest rivers in the Sverdlovsk region and one of the most beautiful rivers in the Urals. The name of the river is explained from the Turkic and Ket languages as “fish river”.
The source of the river begins in Lake Isetskoye, 25 kilometers northwest of Yekaterinburg. The dam regulates the lake's flow.
Several centuries ago, the Verkh-Isetsky, Yekaterinburg and Uktussky factories operated on the Iset, and the river was also a place of gold mining, which negatively affected the environment. .
Rock "Stone Gate"
A 20-meter-high rock with a through arch is the calling card of our region. It is a natural monument of regional significance. "Stone Gate"

Karpinsky trail
One and a half kilometer Karpinsky trail
takes place in the very center of the city. Traveling along it, you can get acquainted with the outcrops of igneous and sedimentary rocks, whose age reaches 430 million years.
Rock Three Caves
Rock "Three Caves"
(height approximately 25 meters) is located on the left bank
of the Iset River
.
This rock is recognized as a unique geological object of regional importance and is a geological monument. In addition, some historical events are associated with the rock, so “Three Caves”
is also a historical monument.
The fact is that earlier in this rock there were three communicating openings-entrances to the cave, located on different sides. Apparently, that’s why the rock got its name (in the 20th century). Currently, only two entrances remain, one was destroyed and forever blocked with limestone rocks. But the rock’s original name has been preserved.
Rock Mammoth
Rock Mammoth
is a large limestone rock, its shape reminiscent of a mammoth, located on
the Iset River
, within the
city of Kamensk-Uralsky
, on its western outskirts. Its height is 30 meters. The top of the rock has grass cover and is overgrown with deciduous forest. As a result of karst processes, the base of the rock acquired the shape of “mammoth legs”. Opposite the rock on the other side of the river there is a small wild sandy beach.
Landscape park "Loga"
Another talented local businessman-enthusiast, Sergei Kushnarenko, created a stunning park in the Staraya Stanitsa area, a unique masterpiece of landscape design. In this place of cultural recreation there are beautiful gazebos and bridges on the picturesque banks of the river and pond, sculptural compositions in folklore and fairy-tale styles, well-groomed exquisite flower beds, alpine slides, a rock park, “Through the Looking Glass Park”, a musical fountain, a man-made waterfall, a children's train, a cafe and a restaurant, equipped barbecue area for relaxation. In the center of the park there is a huge playground.
Loga Park is as beautiful as in a fairy tale.
The “living corner” is home to squirrels and fallow deer, peacocks and pheasants, parrots and ornamental chickens. Ducks, swans, turtles, and large goldfish swim in the ponds. Loga Park amazes not only with its beauty, but also with its scope. This is a real fairy tale for both children and adults.
Bike hotel. “Trees” made from motorcycles and traffic lights
Postal codes microdistrict. factory, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region
The Bike Hotel was the first to open in 2009. Its original interior design is completely in keeping with the spirit of the biker subculture, worked out to the smallest detail. There are no analogues in Russia. In the halls there are exhibits of a rich collection of motorcycles from different years - two- and three-wheeled, factory models and homemade ones. The headboards of the beds in the rooms are made in the shape of motorcycles, the tables with transparent tabletops are made of motorcycle wheels; instead of chair legs there are also motorcycle wheels.
The skeleton of the Ghost Rider is clearly visible from the M4 motorway.
The “highlight” of the hotel is the original gas station with the inscriptions: “tea, coffee, beer, vodka.” It is impossible to drive past the Bike Hotel and not notice it: in front of the building there is a huge figure of the Ghost Rider: a motorcycle with a frame in the shape of a skeleton. The eyes of the skull glow in the dark, and the entire sculpture is also complemented by beautiful lighting.
The hotel cafe is called "Garage". Its visitors are surrounded by motorcycle and car accessories, vintage cameras, records, etc. Next to the hotel and cafe there is a ten-meter stele in the form of a pillar to which motorcycles are attached, on an octagonal pedestal; as well as a “tree of traffic lights”, which glow with all their colors when darkness falls.
Leninsky Komsomol Square
Leninsky Komsomol Square, located on Pobedy Avenue in Kamensk-Uralsk, is the central square of the city and the main place for rollerblading, cyclists and skateboarders. It consists of various steps, edges and tackles.

Various holidays and events are often held on the square. This place is also a very convenient place for meetings and walks. The square is surrounded by numerous shops, offices and government institutions.
Chapel of Alexander Nevsky
The Alexander Nevsky Chapel was built in honor of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the city in the center of Kamensk-Uralsky according to the design of the architect A.V. Dolgov, advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences. In 1999, a procession of the Cross took place at the site of the chapel construction, a Cross was installed here and the territory was consecrated.
In 2001, Archbishop Vikenty of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye solemnly consecrated the chapel, and the administration of the Kamensky district presented an icon of the Great Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky as a gift. Currently, the chapel is a landmark and symbol of the city. This area hosts the annual Russian Festival of Bell Ringing Masters.
The Transfiguration Monastery began its history with a women's community, which was founded by Avdotya Voronina. The first church built with her money was the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which opened in 1862. The main altar is consecrated in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the left side chapel is in honor of St. Nicholas, and the right side is in honor of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.
In 1917, there were 30 nuns and 150 novices living in the monastery. Later the monastery was closed, and its temples were desecrated and looted. The military registration and enlistment office and land administration began to be located here, and later clubs, warehouses, a bakery, children's educational institutions, etc.
In 1998, on the site of the already destroyed convent, a new monastery was founded, now for men. Now the monastery is being revived, services are held there and restoration work is underway. Nowadays, the “Sobriety” society and an Orthodox school operate at the monastery.

Baynovsky Bridge across the Iset
Baynovsky Bridge is the only publicly accessible road bridge today that runs across the Iset River in Kamensk-Uralsky and connects the Sinarsky and Krasnogorsky districts of the city. It was opened at 05:00 on the morning of July 8, 2012 and became a real salvation for city residents who previously had to spend about an hour to get to work in the neighboring area. The bridge was built with funds allocated from the local budget. Three months after its opening, it was restored - the top layer of asphalt, eight centimeters thick, was completely removed, and the dirt was cleaned and the lower surface was covered with bitumen. The next major works are planned for mid-2014.
From the Bainovsky Bridge there is a magnificent view of the Iset River and its beautiful banks planted with young trees. The length of the structure is about 8 kilometers, which is equal to approximately four trolleybus stops. About 3,000 workers took part in the construction of the bridge, who completed the task quite quickly - in just two years.
