Two new exhibitions are available to visit. The exhibition “0.8”, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Wassily Kandinsky and the Russian avant-garde in general, consists of eight works created by eight members of the creative association “AzArt”: Olga Anokhina, Irina Bobrova, Natalia Gorsheneva, Olga Elchaninova, Alevtina Ryzhkova, Natalia Khodeeva, Victor Tsiryanidi, Olga Ivannikova. The number 8 in the name is not accidental: it symbolizes infinity, continuity, and eternity of art. Artists of the AzArt association explored the possibilities of combining immortal (despite the claims of avant-garde artists) classics and artistic methods of the early 20th century. The works of the authors of the exhibition “0.8” are a kind of response to the ten participants of the sensational exhibition “0.10”, which canceled the entire past in 1915. The exhibition “Plasticity and Color” of the family union of Tamara and Yuri Astapchenko opened on the third floor. The exhibition features about 40 works of painting, graphics and sculpture.
