West Beach

Beach Frying Pan

As we have already said, “frying pans” in Zelenogradsk are called a beach on which there are areas surrounded by dunes and trees and bushes. Due to such closedness, these areas are very hot. Just 10 kilometers from Zelenogradsk is the village of Lesnoy. This is a place where, on one side, you can get to the beach of the Curonian Lagoon, and on the other, to the Baltic Sea. Tourists like to relax in the Baltic. The holiday season lasts from June to early September. In summer, Zelenogradsk does not get as hot as in the Krasnodar Territory. The pump room is a dome-shaped covering over a mineral water spring in Zelenogradsk named after Queen Louise. This exotic name was given in 2006, when the structure was built.
