The municipality of the resort town of Anapa was officially created on April 1, 2006
. This formation included the city of Anapa itself and the entire Anapa region, although the unification of this region took place already in 1994 - it was then that it began to be called the Anapa resort. Today's new association in the form of an urban district also consists of several villages, hamlets and the city itself. All settlements, especially those located along the coast, are in great demand among Russians as holiday destinations.
The main resorts of Anapa on the map of the Black Sea coast
The most popular resort villages of Anapa are Sukko, Dzhemete and Vityazevo. In this municipal association there are also the villages of Supsekh, Maly and Bolshoy Utrish, several farms and the village of Blagoveshchenskaya, located between the Vityazevsky and Kizeltashsky estuaries. In summer, vacationers can be found everywhere. Some people always go to the same favorite place, while others explore something new every time. Some people choose comfortable, entertainment-filled settlements, while others prefer a “wild” holiday on secluded and beautiful natural beaches.
Wild beaches in the Bolshoi Utrish area attract nature lovers
Which village in the Anapa association to choose for a summer pastime is a rather difficult question. It’s difficult to recommend anything specific here, because everyone has their own ideal of a vacation spot. Therefore, we will simply give a general description of the resort city of Anapa and an objective review of its best resort villages, and let everyone make their own choice.
Description of resorts in Anapa region
Features of the geographical location and climatic characteristics of Anapa and its closest suburbs have already been highlighted in the article What to see in Anapa. Let us remember that this region of the Krasnodar Territory is almost entirely located on a flat area (especially the villages west of Anapa) and is not closed from the northern winds by the Caucasus Mountains.
Anapa and most of its villages are located on a flat area
The location of the area also affected its natural component. To the west of the city of Anapa there are no mountain silhouettes familiar to the Caucasian coast. The first low mountain from which the Caucasus Range begins is Mount Lysaya, located in the village of Supsekh on the eastern outskirts of the city of Anapa. Today this mountain is one of the popular tourist destinations, attracting vacationers with its picturesque “Swallow’s Nests”.
To the east of Supsekh, mountain elevations begin to form silhouettes more familiar to the Black Sea region. In the area of the villages of Sukko, Bolshoy and Maly Utrish on the mountain peaks and coast there is a protected environmental area of the Utrish Nature Reserve and further to the east the Caucasus Mountains are increasingly gaining power and height.
The Caucasus ridge begins with low mountain formations in the Supsekh area
Thus, if you want to relax against the backdrop of mountain peaks and walk through protected areas, then you should choose a vacation spot in the eastern direction from the village of Supsekh.
Many people go to the Anapa region solely for the sandy beaches. And indeed there are wide and extended beach areas covered with yellow sand mixed with small shell rock. There are especially wide sandy areas in the villages of Dzhemete and Vityazevo.
Luxurious sandy beach areas are located on the western side of Anapa
The fact is that the Kuban River, the mouth of which for a long time was the Anapa region, played a great role in the formation of the sandy beaches of Anapa. After all, previously this deep river flowed not into the Azov Sea, but into the Black Sea. It was she who brought the sand here, which Anapa is so popular with today.
But we must keep in mind that sandy beaches are located only to the west of the Seaport of the Anapa region. Pebble beaches begin to the east of the Seaport. Therefore, this circumstance must also be taken into account when choosing a vacation spot. The sandy beaches of Anapa are distinguished by a smooth entry into the sea and long shallow water, which is very convenient for children's holidays at sea. But shallow water does not suit all adults. And flowering can often occur on it, which overshadows sea bathing.
To the east of the Anapa lighthouse there are pebble beaches with a steeper descent into the sea
Pebble beaches are not very convenient for walking, but they also have their admirers. Pebble beaches have cleaner and clearer water, entry into the sea is faster, and the presence of stones and boulders provides a good viewing area for scuba diving enthusiasts.
An important aspect when choosing a vacation spot is the need for entertainment
. Of course, there are beach attractions on all official beaches, and in almost every coastal village there are also entertainment centers in the form of amusement parks, embankments and excursion routes. A wider range of entertainment is offered directly by the city of Anapa itself, which has a very ancient and interesting history, which can be found here.
The city of Anapa is a large resort town with a lot of entertainment
The modern resort villages of Dzhemete and Vityazevo offer a little less entertainment. Those who like a more relaxing holiday choose Sukko, Supsekh or Bolshoi Utrish. Many car travelers and lovers of “wild” recreation, including nudists, relax in the lagoons of Bolshoi Utrish. There are many campsites and nudist beaches to the west of Vityazevo towards the village of Blagoveshchenskaya.
For those who want to combine their vacation with treatment (and this is not at all difficult to do at the Anapa resort), it is better to choose places located closer to the sources of therapeutic mud (Vityazevsky or Kiziltashsky estuary and Lake Chembur).
In the Anapa area there are several sources of medicinal mineral water
The choice of holiday in the Anapa region is also influenced by convenient transport interchange. After all, you can get here by train, by plane, or by your own car. Those who have definitely decided to vacation in this region of the Krasnodar Territory only have to choose which village to do it in.
Sights and entertainment of Anapa
If you are looking for something interesting in Anapa where you can visit with your family, pay attention to the entertainment complexes and walking routes.
Anapa lighthouse
It can safely be called ancient, since it was built in 1898. Built according to classical canons, an octagonal shape was chosen. At first the fire was maintained by burning oil, but now it is switched to automatic mode and the presence of a person inside is not required. It gives the embankment a special charm and looks great on postcards and photos.
Embankment
The most popular place for walking does not remain deserted even in the low season. The total length is 5 km. The central part is 1600m, decorated with original flower beds and flower arrangements. In the evening, bright lighting turns on, giving the walks a flair of romanticism. There are a number of cafes and restaurants serving European and Mediterranean cuisine along the embankment; the main attractions are located nearby.
Bugaz Spit
The famous beach for lovers of wild recreation and kite surfing stretches for 13 km. from Blagoveshchenskaya to Veselovka. You can drive directly to it by car. But vacationers try to park at the very beginning of the lane and not disturb others. There is complete freedom here, the shore is not cluttered with attractions and pavilions, the sand spit is convenient for leisure with children, the sand is soft, the entrance to the water is gentle.
Anapa city
Many vacationers prefer to stay directly in Anapa itself. Firstly, it is a civilized and large city, in which there is where to walk, what to see, where you can eat deliciously and have fun both during the day and at night. There is a Gorgippia Museum-Reserve
and the Museum of Local Lore, the City Theater and
the Church of St. Onuphrius
. There are large markets and shops where you can enjoy shipping and buy memorable souvenirs or just good and necessary things.
In the city of Anapa there is a place to walk, have fun and relax at any time of the day.
And what wonderful parks there are here for every taste! There are entertainment parks and just public gardens for leisurely walks, there are parks of military glory and parks with rose gardens. And Anapa Embankment! Beautiful, well-groomed, extended!!! Nobody will be bored here for sure!!!
But a big city also has its certain disadvantages. First of all, it is crowded, noise and bustle. The beaches of Anapa are crowded at the height of the holiday season, although you can always find a place there. Therefore, many vacationers prefer to stay in the villages closest to Anapa, and go to the city itself only in search of entertainment.
You can find a lot of entertainment in Anapa - for every taste and budget
You can read about all the pros and cons of holidays in the city of Anapa, about the peculiarities of the Anapa climate and about all the popular attractions of this interesting historical city.
In the southeast direction from Anapa there are picturesque villages surrounded by not very high peaks of the Caucasian foothills. The entire coast in this direction has pebbly surfaces and a clean and warm sea. There are slightly fewer vacationers here than at the resorts in the northwestern region of the Anapa region.
Private sector near the center
The central district of Anapa is home to not only luxury hotels, but also a large and vibrant private sector.
Here you, on the one hand, can fully immerse yourself in resort life, and on the other, save significantly on housing.
Interesting places
From the private sector you will have convenient access to any attraction in the center of Anapa:
- Central embankment;
- Archaeological Museum;
- Monument "Russian Gate";
- Park of the 30th anniversary of the Victory.
A few hundred meters from the private sector there is a sandy Central Beach about a kilometer long. This is the most popular place among tourists in Anapa, so there are a lot of people here from early morning until late evening.
Housing
Of the entire private sector of Anapa, this area is perhaps the most extensive in terms of the number of guest houses.
“Anapskoye Compound” is located on Katya Solovyanova Street, building 52. Vacationers are offered double, triple, and quadruple economy class rooms. The rooms have a minimum set of necessary furniture, one bathroom for four rooms. In June, prices for an economy room start at 200 rubles per day, but already in July they reach 400 rubles.
“On Vladimirskaya 7/1” is located next to the City Administration. Here, each room is equipped with a private bathroom, as well as a refrigerator and TV. You can prepare your meals in the shared kitchen and relax in the dining area. The minimum price per day in this guest house is 400 rubles.
“Sem-Ya” is located on Krymskaya, house 141. In this guest house, vacationers are offered standard rooms with all the necessary furniture, a TV, a refrigerator, a shower, a toilet, as well as air conditioning or a fan, which will be a real salvation in hot weather.
In June, room prices start at 500 rubles, but in July and August they already reach 1,000 rubles.
Cheap housing in the private sector of Anapa.
Pros of the area:
- Walking distance to main attractions, the beach, the Central embankment;
- Large selection of entertainment: amusement parks, water park, zoo;
- Affordable housing prices;
- Developed infrastructure.
Disadvantages of the area:
- The facilities are not the same as in hotels and inns;
- It can be noisy due to the large number of tourists.
Supsekh village
In the southeast, Anapa gradually and almost imperceptibly transforms into the village of Supsekh, which is the center of the rural district. This is the first settlement located at the beginning of the formation of the Caucasus Range. On the southern border of the village rises Mount Lysaya - the very first Caucasian hill.
The formation of the mighty Caucasus ridge begins from Bald Mountain in the Supsekha region
Supsekh is the closest and most expensive suburb of Anapa, to which today many Russians move for permanent residence. Once upon a time these lands were inhabited by Circassians, Natukhais, and Circassians. Then the local settlement was called Psekh.
In those days, when the coast fell under the yoke of the Ottoman Empire, it was renamed Su, and the slave trade flourished here. The main product was captured Russians. After the annexation of this region to Russia in 1870
the new Russian village was named Su-Psekh. And the local land went to E. Prokopovich, a general of the Russian army, who began to plant grape gardens here, from where the products were supplied to the Anapa sanatoriums of the doctor V.A. Budzinsky. Even in the first Soviet decades, these vineyards were called “Gardens of Su-Psekha.”
Today's Supsekh geographically continues the city of Anapa in a southeastern direction
In the 20-30s. During the Soviet era, many people moved to the regions of the Krasnodar Territory from hunger and ruin. The village of Supsekh also grew, officially receiving this spelling in the 30s of the 20th century. By the beginning of the war, the village consisted of just over 50 households. Today the population in this beautiful village reaches 9 thousand people, most of whom are Russians and Armenians.
And today in some inscriptions the old spelling of the village has been preserved
Few choose this purely residential village for recreation, because it is not a resort. It is more convenient to get there without any problems only with your own car. Those who love peace and quiet stay in local campsites or guest houses and go to local wild beaches, where the water is very clean.
The village has a fairly developed infrastructure, there are hotels and shops. But there are no entertainment centers or amusement parks here. Just as there are no civilized beach areas. Wild beaches are located on the coastal strip, to which you need to go down the famous staircase called “ 800 steps”
“, or a little further along another descent - “400 steps”. This is quite an extreme activity for daily swimming, but the views here are very beautiful and the air is very healing.
The views from the mountain shores of Supsekh are very picturesque
The main local attraction is the staircase to the wild beach, called 800 steps. It is described in more detail in the article - What to see in Anapa. A little north along Tamanskaya Street there is also an observation deck called Bald Mountain.
Another observation deck, located near the Supsekh cemetery, is called Swallow's Nests. This is an amazingly beautiful and popular place among tourists. You can read more about the sights of Bald Mountain here.
The Swallow's Nests of Bald Mountain are one of the popular local attractions
There are other unnamed, but also very interesting observation platforms on the top of Bald Mountain.
Highland
The Vysoko Bereg area is located immediately behind the Central Beach of Anapa.
Interesting places
- One of the symbols of Anapa - the Lighthouse - adorns the High Bank. If you come to Anapa, you definitely need to take a photo at the Lighthouse;
- The high bank is strewn with parks with bright flower arrangements;
- Many cafes, restaurants and other entertainment venues.
The beach here is pebbly and there may be large boulders at the bottom. The length of the coastline reaches 4 kilometers.
Housing
In the Vysokyi Bereg microdistrict there is a large selection of hotels of different price levels.
The hotel of the same name “Vysoky Bereg” is located on the first coastline. The infrastructure and amenities of the hotel are at a high level. Room price – from 2,700 rubles.
“Blue Lagoon” is a hotel with rooms of various categories: from standard to “Deluxe”. The price for the most modest room is 2,800 rubles per day.
Hotel Maximus is an economical option. It is conveniently located away from the bustle of the city, but at the same time, very close to the sea. Prices per day here start from 1,250 rubles.
The private sector in the Vysokiy Bereg microdistrict is very extensive. In some houses you can even stay for a ridiculous 300-400 rubles per day. In this case, the room will be equipped with all necessary furniture, air conditioning or a fan.
Pros of the area:
- Picturesque area;
- Convenient location: away from the bustle of the city, but at the same time close to the center;
- Developed infrastructure;
- Crystal clear sea water.
Disadvantages of the area:
- There can be a lot of garbage on the beach: since this is not the city center, they clean it up here much less often;
- To get to the beach you need to go down some high steps. If you are vacationing with children or your movement is difficult, then I do not recommend staying in this area.
Varvarovka village
The history of the formation of this village is very similar to the history of Supsekh. After the annexation of this coast to Russia, on the lands that belonged to General Pavlov at that time, a farmstead appeared, named after his daughter Varvarovka. Its main inhabitants were Bohemian Czechs, who began to plant gardens, tobacco plantations, and wheat fields here. They also raised livestock. And the houses were built of stone with tiled roofs, and they were whitewashed as in their native Bohemia.
Varvarovka is located on a mountain slope away from the coastline
In the 20-30s. In the 20th century, a large share of the economy, in connection with the creation of collective farms, was aimed at growing vineyards. The products were sent mainly to Abrau-Durso, but it was planned to build a winery in Varvarovka. These plans were prevented from being realized by the Great Patriotic War, by the end of which only 11 people remained alive in the village.
By the beginning of the 50s, the winery was finally built and began to operate. But due to lack of profitability, it was closed in 2017. It turned out that building houses was much more profitable, and besides, a new modern gravity-type winery appeared in the village, with which it was pointless to compete.
Varvarovka is a well-kept and pretty village located on the main highway
Today, the village of Varvarovka, home to more than two thousand people, is the same quiet and secluded place for summer holidays as Supsekh. Varvarovka is also located at the beginning of the formation of the Caucasus Mountains at an altitude of more than 300 meters on the Semisamsky ridge. A highway connecting Sukko with Anapa passes through the village.
The big advantage of relaxing in this locality is not only peace and quiet. There is very beautiful nature here and fairly low prices for accommodation in the private sector and in campsites. The lack of entertainment and municipal civilized beaches is compensated by the purity of sea water, beautiful views and the proximity of such resort and entertainment places as Anapa and Sukko. In the vicinity of Varvarovka you can spend hours walking through the relict protected forests and admiring the pine trees, breathing the cleanest air and listening to the singing of birds.
Walking along local mountain paths is an excellent and healthy pastime
Of course, it is most convenient for car travelers to relax here, since it is more convenient to get to the immediate surroundings by your own car than by public transport. And although taxi services are available everywhere today, having your own transport is much more comfortable.
In the center of Varvarovka in 2014
a temple of the same name appeared, which today is a whole complex with a library, Sunday school, refectory, chapel, etc. There is also a Holy Spring here. There is also a House of Culture, shops, etc. in the village. But the local infrastructure is not of a resort nature.
The Varvarovsky temple greatly beautified the village and became its iconic dominant feature.
It must be borne in mind that the practically unequipped beach area is located almost two kilometers from the village, on the territory of another village - Varvarovskaya Shlit
. This place, located in a very beautiful rocky gorge, attracts with its landscapes of untouched nature. Lovers of “wild” holidays even pitch tents here. At the height of the holiday season, elements of civilization penetrate here in the form of rental beach equipment and simple attractions.
The pebble beach of Varvarina Shlya has the most minimal amenities
The coast has a pebbly surface and a rocky seabed, which is very attractive for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. You can watch nimble representatives of marine fauna here even along the coastline. If spending your entire vacation time in Varvarovka in isolation from civilization seems boring, then coming here for at least two or three days can make your vacation simply unforgettable.
Independent walks around the resort of Anapa
There are no special historical or architectural monuments here; for them you will have to go to the outskirts of Gelendzhik, Sochi, Tuapse. But local cultural and entertainment facilities are quite enough for a pleasant holiday.
Bringing Down the House
The fashion trend has also captured Anapa. The attraction is designed for the paradox of perception, opened in 2014 and is constantly popular. The upside-down interiors are very realistic, and photographs taken in the interior will make you smile at the memories more than once.
Address: Krasnoarmeyskaya, 8.
Cost: 150 rub.
Russian Gate
One of the few surviving monuments of military architecture from the Ottoman Empire. The restored fragment shows how powerful and inaccessible the fortress was. It had 7 bastions, a deep ditch around the perimeter and three gates. The Russian gate was located on the eastern side of the structure.

Ocean Park and Nemo Dolphinarium
The halls of the oceanarium perfectly combine entertaining and educational tasks. Sukko village
The small village of Sukko today is the most popular summer holiday destination in the Anapa region. It is located in a very picturesque place between two mountain ranges, 12 km south of Anapa. There are not only comfortable conditions for relaxation, but also a wonderful natural component. It’s very pleasant to combine beach time here with walks along mountain trails and “wild” sea coasts, and a visit to the unique Cypress Lake.
Many tourists come to the cypress lake in Sukko every year
There are also creative tourist complexes in the north of the village in the form of an African village
, medieval castle
"Lion's Head"
, Adventure Park "Braveheart". Interesting excursion trips to the immediate surroundings are also organized from the village of Sukko.
More detailed information about the pros and cons of holidays in Sukko and all its interesting attractions is here.
Where to go in Anapa
Many attractions are located outside the city limits, so you need to get ready for the trip.
Lake Sukko (Cypress)
A cozy body of water is gradually becoming an alternative to the sea. More and more vacationers are seeking to hide in the shade of coastal trees, away from the noisy bustle of the central beach. A unique phenomenon that can be observed from the shore is cypress trees standing in the water. During the low season, the water subsides and it is possible to approach them.
Cruiser Kutuzov
The keeper of martial traditions has become a museum. The dimensions are impressive, 210 m long and 22 m wide. Due to its unsinkability, it is still a model for the newest ships. The museum hosts thematic programs and excursions for children and adults.

The guide’s story about the production process, grape varieties, and the secrets of winemaking is complemented by an amazing tasting of several types of champagne with detailed instructions on how to drink and what to eat. Excursion groups are recruited every hour.
Cost: without tasting - 750 rubles, with tasting 1000 rubles. It is possible to book a separate individual or group excursion.
The village of Bolshoy Utrish
The small and rather secluded village of Bolshoy Utrish is chosen for relaxation by lovers of peace, quiet and natural beauty. There are no special attractions here, except perhaps the Utrish Dolphinarium, located in the open sea, and the Center for the Study of the Black Sea.
The location of the village of Bolshoy Utrish is very unique
The most important attraction of Bolshoi Utrish is nature, or rather the natural reserve of the same name to the village. There are stunning views, amazing air, clear sea and picturesque lagoons, which are part of the wild coastline stretching from Utrish Big to Utrish Small. There is a small “Pearl” waterfall and Snake Lake. Here you can walk, sail on the yachts of the local Yacht Club, or sunbathe naked on a nudist beach.
Nudist lagoon beaches in the Bolshoy Utrish area are quite popular
You can read more about the features of recreation in Bolshoi Utrish, its public and “wild” beaches and the entertainment available here.

Holidays in Maly Utrish are holidays in relict protected areas
Fans of diving and spearfishing will find something to do here, and connoisseurs of wildlife and pebble deserted beaches will rest their souls. In the relict mountain forests surrounding the village, you can breathe freely and easily with the purest air. Walking through these forests, you can come across picturesque lakes and mushroom meadows, mineral water springs and pretty waterfalls, the ruins of an ancient abandoned city and photograph amazingly beautiful forest landscapes.
The beaches of Maly Utrish are a wild, unequipped coastline

If you wish, you can stay at one of the local recreation centers

Dzhemete village
Unlike previous villages, Dzhemete is located to the north-west of Anapa, which merges into it quite imperceptibly. This settlement, located on an absolutely flat area, is not united. There are two villages of Dzhemete - Upper and Lower Dzhemete. But purely geographically this is practically not noticeable. The border runs along the railway line. Lower Dzhemete is located directly on the coast, and therefore is the main resort village. Although vacationers also stop in Upper Dzhemet.
Dzhemete is a very modern and sought-after resort village of Anapa
Dzhemete today is a recognized and very popular resort in the Anapa region. These places are appreciated by lovers of sandy beaches, which stretch here in a wide and long strip. These places are also attractive for family holidays. This village is a recognized children's resort with many children's camps and recreation centers.
Those who want to improve their health also come here. After all, here is the healing Chembur Lake, the mud of which helps get rid of many ailments. A holiday here can be truly comfortable, because the resort infrastructure is very well developed and quite modern.

Vityazevo village
The next Anapa coastal village in the northwest direction is one of its resort favorites - the village of Vityazevo. This place is interesting with the history of its formation, attractive with its beautiful sandy beaches, which turn into wild beach areas in the area of the Vityazevsky Estuary, and is very impressive with its Greek flavor, which is present almost everywhere here.
Almost everything in Vityazevo is saturated with the atmosphere of Ancient Greece
Vityazevo, like Dzhemete, has its own water park, which is called “Olympia”
, there are several amusement parks. There are beautiful beaches and an industry of extreme entertainment from diving to ATV racing on sand dunes.
For those who want to improve their health, the village has sanatoriums, drinking pump rooms and “wild” mud treatment from the Vityazevsky Estuary. For shopping lovers there is the Paralia Embankment and more. There is a huge variety of cafes, restaurants, hotels and guest houses. The resort infrastructure is at a decent modern level.
One of the popular vacation spots in Vityazevo is the Byzantium Park.
While relaxing in this village, you can go to the events of the House of Culture or visit the St. George’s Church, you can touch the origins of Greek viticulture at the Old Greek Wine Estate, or you can visit the Monuments of the Great Patriotic War or the victims of the genocide. Just being on this almost Greek land makes the holiday emotionally charged and enjoyable.
You can learn more about the history of the formation of the village, the pros and cons of holidays here, as well as the main attractions of Vityazevo here.
You can have an excellent and very active holiday in Vityazevo
Beyond Dzhemete and Vityazevo, small and completely non-resort settlements go deeper into the mainland - the villages of Chemburka
and
Voskresensky
, the village
of Tsibanobalka
, the village of
Pyatikhatki
, etc. If you wish, you can relax there, but the beach and the main amenities of civilization and entertainment will be far away.

Temple of Seraphim of Sarov
The cathedral in the Pskov-Novgorod style amazes with its proportionality and beauty. It was built with funds raised by the townspeople. A distinctive feature was the high wooden bell tower against the backdrop of snow-white walls. They are not plastered, but simply whitewashed, which creates a feeling of antiquity, although the temple was opened in 2014. The church has a Sunday school, a library, and a youth association.
Address: st. Mayakovsky, 111v.
Monument to the Cossacks who fell at the walls of Anapa in 1788-1828
Free, fearless and warlike, they defended their borders to the last. In memory of their feat and dedication, a monument was unveiled in 2013, erected near the Russian Gate.
Memorial Stele "City of Military Glory"
After the city was given an honorary title, a corresponding monument was erected. The column, made of granite, resembles a Doric one in its silhouette and severity of form. There are benches for vacationers around, and evening lighting is provided.
Monument to Dmitry Kalinin
He immortalized the feat of the Soviet intelligence officer. Covering the retreat of his group, he destroyed about 30 enemy soldiers. In order not to surrender, the scout blew himself up with a grenade along with several other fascists.
Monument ship "Scarlet Sails"
A. Green created an amazing work in which scarlet sails on ship masts became a symbol of hope and dreams come true. Since then, this image has remained unchanged. The ship is installed on the city embankment; during its manufacture, all the main details of shipbuilding were taken into account, so even up close it looks like a real one.

Madame Tussauds found a literal gold mine in her time by organizing the first such museum. Its likenesses, large and small, began to open in many cities in different countries. In the exhibition hall, guests are greeted by fairy-tale and real characters made with high skill.
Address: st. Vladimirskaya, 2.
Cost: 300 rub. for adults, 200 for children.
Children's Park "The Jungle Book"
If you choose where to go and what to do in Anapa, the theme park will top the list of interesting places to visit with children. It is based on attractions designed in accordance with famous cartoons. There is a shooting gallery, a Ferris wheel, carousels and numerous pavilions with souvenirs, lemonade and ice cream.
Address: Krasnoarmeyskaya st., 1P.
Rex Dinosaur Park
The giant reptiles have long been extinct, but are still of interest to researchers. Stories are written about them and cartoons are created. There are about 20 realistic figures made of elastic material installed in the park, corresponding in size to the originals. For ease of orientation, a diagram is posted at the entrance to the park. There is a play area for children and a trampoline complex is open.
Address: Central embankment.
Cost: 700 rubles, for children – 600, children under 2 years old are admitted free of charge.
Chemburka farm
This small (almost ten streets) but close to Anapa village is located between Chembur Lake and Anapa floodplains. You can rent housing here much cheaper than in neighboring Anapa and Dzhemete. But we must keep in mind that the distance to the beach area from the center of the village is about 2.5 km and therefore it will take about half an hour, or even forty minutes, to walk to the beach. But here you can get treatment with the healing mud of Lake Chembur, catch rams on it, or simply wander along the shores of the lake itself or the Anapa flood plains. There is a motor racing track on the outskirts of the village.
Few people choose the small village of Chemburka for a holiday.
If you still decide to walk to the beach, then you need to keep in mind that a rather picturesque road runs along the straight Ring Street. The views along the road are quite beautiful; you can see geese or swans walking.
The road to the sea from Chemburka goes along the picturesque Chembur Lake
You will not find any entertainment for the evening in the village. But there is more than enough peace and quiet here. Especially in the evening and night hours. There are not a lot of shops here either, but there is a local market where you can buy fresh homemade products - cheese, butter, dairy products, meat, eggs, vegetables, etc. The only problem is that you can hardly pay with a card here. All you need is cash.
What to visit in Anapa
It’s not for nothing that the city has the status of a resort and some attractions fully correspond to it.
Pump room
There are several mineral springs located in the city. It is important to drink this water immediately, but it is useless to put it in bottles; after a few hours it loses all its special properties. A pump room has been erected for hydrotherapy, visiting is free, you can drink water from any source in unlimited quantities. But some types are insidious and it is better to limit yourself to one serving. Disposable tableware can be purchased at the entrance for 2 rubles. or take a collapsible cup with you.
Address: Revolution Ave., 3.
Taman mud volcanoes
Homer wrote about them, pointing out that in their vents there are entrances to Hades. The mud is healing, it is heated to 20-26 degrees in a natural way.
Tsibanobalka village, Voskresensky farm, Pyatikhatki village
These small settlements of the Anapa region, practically growing into one another, are located far from the sea between Dzhemete and Vityazevo at a distance of 3 to 5-7 km from the sea coast.
Today many people choose the developing village of Tsibanobalka for permanent residence
The recreational conditions there are almost the same as in Chemburk, only the journey to the sea is much longer, although this is not a problem for autotourists. These settlements have recently become attractive for moving here for permanent residence. They are growing, building up and becoming prettier. Young people and elderly people live here, there are shops and local supplies.
Stanitsa Blagoveshchenskaya
Geographically, the village of Blagoveshchenskaya is located on the northwestern outskirts of the Anapa region. It is surrounded by two estuaries - Kiziltashsky and Vityazevsky and is located at the beginning of the famous Bugaz spit of the Taman Peninsula.
Blagoveshchenskaya village is located between the estuaries of the Taman Peninsula
Before the annexation of this coast to Russia, nearby on the sandy coast, from the beginning of the 16th century, there was an Ottoman fortified point of Kyzyl-Tash in the form of a quadrangular red brick structure with an arsenal, barracks, warehouse and mosque. In the mid-30s of the 19th century, the Russian village of Blagoveshchenskaya appeared here.
Today, many people choose this village for a summer holiday. But we must keep in mind that the main territory of the village is located quite far from the beach, which is the main entertainment center here, and this road is from one and a half to five kilometers. Therefore, you need to take this into account in advance or try to stay on the first coastline, for example, in the Malachite boarding house. True, this is no longer the territory of the village. Further, to the northwest of this boarding house along the coast (Pribrezhnaya Street) a number of hotel complexes and guest houses continue.
You can walk to the beach from Blagoveshchenskaya or drive this route by road train
The beach cover here is the same as in the entire western part of the Anapa region - sandy, but with a sufficient admixture of shell rock. The descent into the sea is gentle and slow. Due to the flat location, winds and small sea storms are possible here, which can bring algae. But usually the sea is quite calm and clean. But thanks to the almost constant winds, here you can engage in such active recreation as kiting and windsurfing. But remember that thanks to the constant winds, you will always be in sand, which easily rises and penetrates almost everywhere.
The beach areas of the Blagoveshchenskaya village have a sand and shell coating
There is no entertainment in the village itself, but there is quite enough of it on the beach, but only at the height of the season. But in the village there is very inexpensive housing, many trade stalls, shops, cafes. And the long road to the sea is part of an active holiday, which is very conducive to losing excess weight.
Near Blagoveshchensky you can stay on the first line in the boarding house "Malachite"
We have given a very small and cursory overview of the main villages of the municipality of the resort city of Anapa, both resort and non-resort. But, as they say, it is better to see and feel all the pros and cons for yourself once, than to read many articles based on the experience of others. Therefore, personally explore the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and, even if something did not go quite right, the sea and sun will fully reward you with positivity in any case.

Pionersky Avenue
Pionersky Avenue is the longest street in Anapa, which extends far beyond the city limits.
Interesting places
Tourist life is in full swing along the entire length of the avenue:
- Amusement parks are located here;
- Zoo;
- Dolphinarium;
- Aquapark;
- Lots of restaurants and cafes.
Pionersky Avenue stretches along the coastline, which is strewn with golden sandy beaches. Many of them belong to health institutions, of which there are a great many on the avenue, but this will not prevent you from sitting comfortably on the beach.
Housing
Along the entire length of Pionersky Prospekt there are many hotels, holiday homes and boarding houses of various price categories. Most of them operate on an all-inclusive basis and have a large area with swimming pools, playgrounds and entertainment.
Park-hotel "Cote d'Azur" is located on the first coastline. It offers guests a variety of activities and access to its own beach. The cost of a day in an economy room will cost you a minimum of 5,000 rubles.
“Riviera” is another hotel located on Pionersky Prospekt, 28. Here you can not only relax in good conditions, but also improve your health thanks to the thermal complex, spa treatments and visits to gyms. Prices per night at Riviera start from 6,000 rubles.
The five-star hotel “Alean Family Resort & Spa Doville” is located at the very beginning of Pionersky Avenue. The hotel has a large Spa center, fitness club and water park. The cost here is much higher than in many other hotels - from 17,000 rubles per night.
There is a large selection of private sector housing on Pionersky Prospekt. Here you can find both a room with minimal amenities at a very affordable price, and a good room in a guest house.
You can stay in a cozy double room with air conditioning and a private bathroom for 1,300 rubles per day. But it is also possible to save money: in guest houses you can find an economy room for about 500 rubles per day. It will only have a bed, a TV and a fan. Shower and toilet are on the floor.
Pros of the area:
- Huge selection of housing in different price categories;
- The sandy sea coast, several kilometers long, is located right next to the hotels;
- Developed infrastructure: supermarkets, markets, bank branches, pharmacies, many public transport stops;
- A large number of entertainment and resort facilities.
Disadvantages of the area:
- Despite the fact that Pionersky Prospekt is considered a city street, the city may be several kilometers away;
- The sea here can “bloom” in July-August;
- Some sections of the avenue do not have the necessary infrastructure.
