The village of Novomikhailovsky or Novomikhailovka, as local residents are accustomed to calling it, has long been popular and respected among tourists, along with Gelendzhik and Tuapse. It is located at the mouth of the Nechepsukho River between Tuapse and Dzhugba.

Tourists fell in love with Novomikhailovka for its free, wide beaches with golden sand mixed with small pebbles, and the mild Mediterranean climate. In summer, the average air temperature is 25 0C, the water temperature is a couple of degrees lower. Mountains on all sides protect the village from the cold wind. The forest surrounding the village purifies the air and creates an additional healing effect.

The beaches of Novomikhailovsky are the widest in the Tuapse region. They are mostly sand and pebbles, but during floods, mountain rivers often bring real river sand to the coast. Novomikhailovsky is an urban resort village located in the Krasnodar Territory. It is part of the resort area of the Tuapse region. The settlement received its name from the military Mikhailovskaya Line, located exactly on the site of the current resort.

In a broad sense, Novomikhailovka also includes neighboring small resort settlements:

Weather conditions in the summer months (June-August)

Summer in the village is hot. The air in the summer months warms up from +240 to +310. At night the temperature does not drop below +180.

It is most comfortable to swim in the sea in the summer in July or August; the water in these months reaches +250-+290, in June this figure is slightly lower - +220-+240. It is sunny almost every day of the summer month; only 4-5 days can there be precipitation, usually insignificant. There is no strong wind (due to forests) – up to 3.5 m/s.

Weather conditions in the autumn months (September-November)

In September, the air temperature is still high: on average +250, at night – +170-+180. In October, the heat subsides: the thermometer shows an average of +180 during the day and +110 at night, and in November these figures drop to +120 and +80, respectively.

It is comfortable to swim in the sea only in September: the water temperature is +240, from October to November the sea gradually cools to +160. There are still a lot of sunny days in the village (about 20), the amount of precipitation is slightly increasing (up to 82 mm). Wind gusts in autumn at the resort can reach 4.5 m/s.

Weather conditions during the winter months (December-February)

Winter in Novomikhailovka is mild and quite warm: the average daytime temperature for 3 months rarely drops below +60, and the night temperature – below +20. The sea does not freeze in winter; the average water temperature is +70-+80. The average precipitation during the cold period increases to 100 mm. The wind can reach speeds of up to 5.7 m/s.

Weather conditions in the spring months (March-May)

In March and April, the village is still quite cold: the average daytime temperature is +100-+150, night temperature – +60-+80. The sea is warmed up to +90-+110. In May, temperatures increase sharply: the air warms up to +240, and the sea - to +170-+200. The amount of precipitation is reduced to 48 mm. Wind gusts do not exceed 3.8 m/s.

Wild beach

The beach is located behind the right cape of the village. The shore here is narrow, covered with stones. There are many large boulders in the water. Entry into the water is not very convenient due to slippery stones; in some places the shallows go more than 50 meters into the sea, and then the bottom ends abruptly.

Underwater there is a lot to see for divers. There is a lot of algae, seaweed, mussels, and crabs. Spearfishing on a wild beach will definitely be a success.

Local residents and tourists come to the wild coast looking for solitude and peace. Many people here make fires and leave behind barbecues made of stones. A walk along a wild beach will give you a lot of positive emotions.

The most popular is the naturally central beach, which has a very impressive size: 800 meters long, 40 meters wide at its widest section. Entry into the sea is completely safe even for small children; at the very beginning there is shallow water, a little further there are deep areas. The surface of the water itself is fine sand, the rest of the beach is pebbly. The central beach is naturally the most equipped with the most luxurious infrastructure in all of Nebug. By the way, regarding infrastructure: you can ride a banana boat, a cheesecake boat, rent a catamaran, jet skis, boats and take an unforgettable boat trip on a yacht combined with fishing. There is an embankment stretching along the entire length of the beach, which, by the way, was recently restored; there are all kinds of cafes, souvenir shops, clubs open at night, and even sometimes live music. A couple of years ago, the main municipal beach received the highest award - 1st category.

Novomikhailovka is a place where people go, first of all, because of the opportunity to swim in the clear sea. The main pastime of tourists at this resort is a beach holiday.

"Central" beach

The beach is located south of Central Beach behind a small cape. The territory is small, only 300 m long, about 30 m wide in the center, and slightly narrower at the edges. There are not many people here, there is no such hustle and bustle as on the Central Beach, but the infrastructure is well developed.

The main goal of the camp site is to provide a comfortable stay for its guests, so there is no garbage on the shore, and the bottom is cleared of stones. Parents don't have to worry about their children running barefoot on the pebbles. Awnings have been installed to provide protection from the sun. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent. There are several changing cabins, toilets and showers on site.

The beach of the camp site has a good location; the water in this place is the warmest in Novomikhailovsky. There is a lot of entertainment on the shore for every taste. Slides and trampolines have been built for children. When the sea becomes rough, vacationers can go for a swim in the outdoor pool or go beyond the cape to a wild beach.

Attractions

Beach "Tornado" Nebug

The beach is located on the territory of a departmental sanatorium; only guests can relax on it for free; everyone else must pay an entrance fee. Since the beach is private, it is monitored very carefully and is constantly cleaned. Guests can use all infrastructure facilities. Externally, the beach looks like a small bay, since there are piers for yachts built on both sides, which also perform a second function - they protect from waves during a storm. The beach does not have impressive characteristics, there is little space, but there is enough for all guests. All the standard entertainment typical of the Black Sea coast is here: riding extreme “bananas”, “tablets”, parachute flights, you can even go fishing.
