Thin Cape is a resort area of Gelendzhik, located on the coast in the northern part of the bay. The coastal area is the first equipped place for recreation. The name is associated with a housing complex of a similar name. The beach is a worthy continuation of it. Unfortunately, the development was never completed and at present the section of the peninsula remains unfinished.
For approximately 2 km, the coastal edge is quite narrow and not convenient for accommodating vacationers; it reaches a maximum of 10 m. The surface consists of large stones mixed with pebbles. The local population built them into something like breakwaters. A plus can be highlighted in the presence of clear sea water due to the presence of rocky cover.
How to get to Thin Cape
Getting to Tonkiy Mys beach is not difficult. There is public transport from the city. You can get there by taxi or your own car. However, from Naberezhnaya Street or the Tonky Mys bus stop, you will need to cover the distance to the beach on foot. The reason for this remoteness is simple - leaving vehicles from the coast is quite difficult during the surf. It won't take long to walk - about 10 minutes. And this walk is worth it to truly relax away from people on a clean beach.

The waters of Gelendzhik Bay do not freeze, since the weather is quite mild, and sudden temperature changes are associated only with strong winds - nor'easters - mainly in November and December. However, in general, the air temperature does not fall below +7ºС.
Warm and mild weather lasts from March to October. Therefore, the time to visit Tonky Cape is a purely individual matter. The holiday period here begins in May and ends in October. However, fans of camping in cool weather will find interesting activities for themselves.

The length of the beach is about 300 meters, and the width of the coast is up to 25 meters, so, despite the influx of vacationers, there is always free space here.
The entire territory is divided into several zones. A separate area is allocated exclusively for hotel guests; there are sandy and pebble areas. In the center of the beach there is a floating pontoon, extending far into the sea, on which sun loungers and sun umbrellas are installed. For those who want to swim in clean water away from the shore, there are convenient steps into the water on the pontoon. The beach has all the usual entertainment and amenities. There are many shops and cafes offering takeaway food near the beach.

This beach has the most beautiful access to the sea in the city, which can often be seen on postcards dedicated to Gelendzhik. Entry to Chernomorets is free for everyone. The beach occupies an area of only 60 meters. It has changing rooms, toilets, and showers. There is a separate area for children with attractions and a small swimming pool filled with sea water.

The beach is equipped according to modern European standards and is considered one of the best in the city. The beach infrastructure is the most developed on the entire coast. Part of the territory is concreted and covered with small pebbles. The entrance to the water is equipped with a convenient staircase. This arrangement of the beach allows you to keep the water clear and clean. Beach of the Edelweiss sanatorium
The beach is located immediately outside the territory of the Krasnaya Talka sanatorium. It differs from other beaches in the presence of equipment designed for people with disabilities. There are special ramps, descents and handrails installed here, and there is an elevator that allows a person in a wheelchair to go down directly to the water. Qualified medical workers and sanatorium staff are constantly on duty on the beach, ready to provide assistance at any time.
This beach has two levels. Below, vacationers can hide from the scorching sun, and on the upper tier enjoy a tan under the hot southern sun. There is a staircase leading from the second floor, on which it is impossible to slip even in wet shoes.

The beach belongs to the sanatorium; its territory stretches a little more than 100 meters along the coast. Outsiders are allowed onto the beach for a fee; sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent. There is a cozy cafe on the beach offering home-cooked dishes and refreshing drinks.
The beach is divided into two tiers. Downstairs, vacationers can hide from the sun under a canopy; upstairs there are sun loungers. Near the beach there is a small shopping center where you can buy everything you need for your holiday.

Many tourists consider this beach the most comfortable and most suitable for relaxation. The beach surface is completely artificial; there are no unpleasant and sharp pebbles.
This beach is a large wooden pontoon with sun loungers installed on it. It is pleasant to walk on the wooden surface barefoot; it never burns your feet. There is a convenient wide descent into the water from the pontoon. It is easy for both children and elderly people to walk along it.
Next to the pontoon there is a small strip of shore covered with small pebbles, where sun loungers are also located. Entrance to the beach is free. Outsiders only need to pay to rent a sun lounger.

There is a boat station on site that offers boats, catamarans, and jet skis for rent. You can relax in a cafe, sauna or Turkish bath. There is a medical center right on the beach. There are always few vacationers here, despite the abundance of entertainment and amenities.
The beach is located in the very center of the bay. The beach area is well maintained and well organized. A playground has been built for children. There is a fenced area in shallow water for swimming. Animators work on the beach all day and entertain little vacationers with competitions and games. For older children, volleyball competitions and water attractions are available.
The water on the beach is clear and clean, as there are a lot of stones and practically no sand. The sanatorium administration makes sure that entry into the water is comfortable and that the bottom is constantly cleared of large and sharp stones.

The beach is closed to outsiders. Only boarding house guests can relax here. The territory is well-groomed and under constant surveillance. The beach is suitable for families with children. There is a diving center right on the beach.
Beach of the medical and health complex "Solnechnaya"
The beach of the Solnechnaya health resort is distinguished by the presence of a two-level modern solarium on the territory. On the second floor there are sun loungers for sunbathing; below you can enjoy relaxing in the shade. The beach is covered with pebbles, but part of the area is concreted. Convenient stairs are provided for descending into the water from the site. There is a rental point for boats and catamarans on the territory, beach volleyball and football competitions are regularly held, there is a cafe and several shops.

The boarding house staff strictly monitors the order and cleanliness of the beach.

The beach is considered one of the best in Gelendzhik. The width of the shore is almost 50 m, and the length is about 300 m. Like most Gelendzhik beaches, there are pebbles everywhere on the Blue Wave. Vacationers are provided with sun loungers, umbrellas, comfortable and clean toilets and changing cabins.
There is a diving club on site. An experienced trainer provides training in the art of scuba diving and issues certificates. For those interested, boat trips, banana boat rides and catamaran rides are organized.
