Rating-review of the best beaches in the village of Kabardinka - TOP-5

All beaches in Kabardinka are pebbly. The descents are almost always comfortable, there are showers, toilets and changing rooms. The water is clear, except for 2 beaches. The central beaches are crowded with people in summer, but the private and wild ones are not.

Cases of intestinal infection are rare, but they do occur.

Useful materials for those planning to travel to Kabardinka:

  • Is it worth going here with small children?
  • What to see and what to do in Kabardinka

For your convenience, we have marked all the beaches mentioned in the article on the map:

Victoria Beach: a relaxing holiday in the village

We are talking about a spacious small-pebble space exceeding 200 m in length. This Kabardinka beach, 20 meters wide, is “split” into two sections. The larger one is a landscaped Riviera, and the smaller one is a pristine stretch of edge. I am glad that there are not many people here, they are, as it were, “the chosen ones.”

People especially come here from other microdistricts of the village. Kabardian, and some even from Novorossiysk. The surface here is small pebbles. There is a rescue service based at the Victoria boarding house. There are snack bars and a diving center. Changing cabins, showers, and sanitary facilities are at your service. There is a water massage pavilion. There are different types of sunbeds available for rent - plastic and wooden. And if you want, pay for a place under a large canopy, next to the inflatable trampolines (slides) for children. It’s always safer to hide from deadly ultraviolet radiation here.

The depth at Victoria Beach increases amazingly quickly, but the seabed is safe for children - unlike other swimming recreation areas in the village, where the underwater terrain is difficult. For reliability, the breakwaters are filled with huge boulders. By the way, crabs and all sorts of fish swim in them, people with masks like it. There is also parking here.

Wild places to relax in the sun

Not far from Kabardinka, where civilization ends and the observation deck begins, there is a wild, unequipped beach for supporters of silence and unity with nature. The easiest way to get to the desired location is by private car. A historical monument dedicated to revolutionary sailors serves as an identification mark. The area is lost between high rocks, and dozens of paths previously made by tourists lead to the sea.

Advice! It is recommended to bring a tent or sleeping bag to spend a night or even a couple of days here. Sausages or meat roasted over an open-air fire will provide the best time for any tourist on the south coast. It should be remembered that special employees do not monitor the surface of the territory, so it is better to protect your feet from sharp stones and boulders. But the sea water is very clean and transparent.

Another wild place is located next to Mount Penai. You can only get there by car, leaving it on the road in advance. Due to the rockiness, the coastal edge reaches several meters, no more. This makes it difficult to fully relax under the sun, especially when lying down. In some places the rocks reach the beginning of the sea, which complicates the full installation of a tent for an overnight stay. The surface of the territory is covered with large pebbles, and there are no people here even in season.

Most of the beaches in Kabardinka are completely free and open to every vacationer. Coastal areas belonging to boarding houses, sanatoriums and recreation centers deserve special attention.

Beach of the Lazurny health complex

The large OK "Lazurny" has set up a fashionable mini-resort for its guests. Although its length is only 80 m and its width is four times less, it accommodates both a medium-sized area with relict pebbles and a convenient concrete pontoon.

The infrastructure includes a large shady awning and rental of sun loungers and umbrellas. On the territory there is a post of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a medical center with a paramedic on duty, a shower, and changing rooms. Of course, the comfort zone has a toilet and garbage disposals. And 150 meters from here there is a boarding house cafe.

It is possible to easily get to this shore only along the edge of the water surface. Alas, entry from Revolutionary Street is only permitted to residents of the sanatorium of the same name. People walk on water - it would be faster to be where the entry is smooth!

Story

Undoubtedly, if there were a written chronicle of the land on which today's Kabardinka stands, it would be very interesting. The guarantee of this is the great number of fragments of ancient Greek amphorae found during archaeological excavations of ancient mounds , dating back to the 5th – 7th centuries BC, as well as coins of all times and peoples.
But there is no written evidence left about the settlements that constantly arose in these places and were destroyed by successive conquerors. In 1836, on the shore of Tsemes Bay, which went to Russia after the Russian-Turkish War, the Alexandrovskoye fortification was built, named in honor of the empress. However, due to the fact that it was constantly confused with Fort Alexandria - modern Sochi, the fortification was renamed Kabardinskoe, named after the Kabardian regiment, whose soldiers made up the garrison of the fortress. Kabarda was the first of the Caucasian provinces to recognize Russian authority over itself.

During the Caucasian War, Kabardinka more than once happened to repel enemy raids. During the Crimean War, the fortress was completely razed to the ground, and its garrison retreated to Kerch. The settlement was revived only after the end of the Caucasian War (in 1864), but as a peaceful village, re-founded by Greek settlers.

In the twentieth century, the wonderful climate of Kabardinka and its proximity to large resort towns turned the village into a fairly famous resort . However, the military history of Kabardinka did not end: during the Great Patriotic War, logistics services were located in Kabardinka, forming detachments to protect Malaya Zemlya.

Beach of the boarding house-hotel "Kabardinka"

The beaches of the village of Kabardinka have different reviews. However, the village's namesake earned extremely positive reviews. Listen: “a lot of people on the beach”, “clean pine air”, “smooth oval pebbles, no stones.” Indeed, in many respects this is the best water area in the western suburbs of Gelendzhik. There is a moderate number of bathers over a very large area. Plus the pebbles are small, the water is somehow cleaner than in the center. At the same time, all the required attributes of rest are available:

  • rental of plastic sun loungers and sun umbrellas;
  • shady canopies;
  • new locker rooms;
  • Ministry of Emergency Situations post (tower and doctor’s office);
  • wooden walkways;
  • extreme entertainment;
  • inflatable slides (not every season);
  • children's part (left) – recreational paddling pools;
  • The attraction is the stranded bulk carrier Ziya Koc.

The distance from one end to the other end of the beach is 250 m, and the width is up to 70 m. Entry into this place from the roadway is possible only for clients of the boarding house (there are signs). But no one cares - people move along the sea. The closest landmark to the hotel is the intersection of the stream with the road on the street. Revolutionary.

Private

Beach of the Lazurny health complex

There are showers, sun loungers and umbrellas on site (included in the ticket price). The beach is clean, not crowded with people even at the height of the season, because entrance is paid for everyone who does not live in the sanatorium.

Guests are offered a café, a billiard room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a library, a storage room, and a safe at the reception desk. For sports lovers - volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts, table tennis.

Animators work for children's leisure, there is a playground, an area on the beach and high chairs in the dining room. The boarding house itself rents out a bicycle, hoverboard or stroller at the following price list:

About food - a coastal cafe or canteen. In the latter, meals are provided three times a day, according to a schedule, and only for residents of Lazurny. Schedule: breakfast 8:30-10:00, lunch 12:00-14:00, dinner 18:00-20:00.

According to visitor reviews

The sea is not always calm, but clean and transparent.

Pros:

Flaws:

Beach of the boarding house "Kabardinka"

It is located 15 meters from the sea, the width of the coast line is 50 m. There are water attractions: “bananas”, “tablets”, catamarans, jet skis. On the territory of the boarding house there are swimming pools for adults and children, a jacuzzi, sports grounds (basketball, tennis, volleyball), a souvenir shop and a dining room. It offers three meals a day on a scheduled basis in the form of a buffet.

Central beach in Kabardinka

This place is accessed by the city embankment, which stretches along Mira Street. Nearby are such health hotels as “Pearl of the Sea” and “Salvation”. The main water location of the settlement stretches for 120 m, entering the village at 25 m. The pebbles here are of medium size, the entry into the sea is uniform, but quite fast. There is garbage.

The beach equipment is, as they say, “first category”. During the season you can expect:

  • paid rental of sun loungers;
  • bistro;
  • elongated canopy;
  • extreme rides (“banana”, “cheesecake”, jet ski, water parachute);
  • paid distribution of catamarans;
  • play area for children;
  • changing cabins;
  • shower;
  • toilet.

By the way, a pier was built on the right side of the bathhouse - with a metal hanging staircase. In good weather, boats leave for excursions. And you can dive from here - for those who cannot get used to pebbles. On the territory adjacent to this Kabardinka beach there are a dozen cafes and other “nutritional and entertainment” points for leisure.

Free beach behind the promenade

This section of the Kabardian Riviera is located just opposite the main entrance to the Smena children's camp - you just need to cross the road. There is a bus stop a few steps away. People are very drawn here, because there are almost no paid services here. You can just come and swim.

Entering the water is quite safe - the bottom is flat, the angle is average. And the pebbles are flat. The only scourge is brown and green algae. But they don't scare anyone. The fragment of the coast is small - exactly 100 m. The width is acceptable - 25 m. It is one of the alternatives to overloaded swimming recreation areas. There are catamaran rentals, as well as a 100-meter pontoon. On the neighboring beach there is a paid shelter with a medical center. Many are offended that they are forcibly driven away from here with almost rubber truncheons.

Do you want to stay overnight in this corner of Kabardinka? Nearby, behind the “Fed Cat” restaurant, where you can eat, a zone of guest houses begins, going all the way to the historical center - the Cedar Grove, the Old Park with 11 attractions and the “Naturlikh” restaurant.

Things to do

The village is convenient, first of all, for relaxation, and for entertainment, vacationers go to Gelendzhik, where there are water parks and a dolphinarium. But there is also something to see in Kabardinka.

To see the whole place, and at the same time the Tsemes Bay all the way to Novorossiysk, it is worth climbing one of the three peaks on Cape Doob.
These mountains are called "Faith", "Hope" and "Love" .
Nearby is the memorial complex of Captain Zubkov’s Battery, where during the Great Patriotic War our artillerymen held a strategic position for 360 days, destroying German ships and fighting fascist paratroopers.

In the center of the village is the Old Kabardinka Park, created by the sculptor and architect Alexander Alekseev.
Here, on an area of 0.5 hectares, surrounded by southern trees, corners of ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, India, and Medieval Europe .
Next to the park is the Art Glass Gallery, where unique exhibits are collected, made by the hands of the best glassblowers throughout the former USSR.

On the outskirts, another heavenly place was built that you can admire forever: the Castalian font. Here, in the crystal waters of a mountain lake, a small castle looks. In the middle of the lake is a sculpture of a sad white heron, into which, according to legend, the Nereid Lydia turned after she lost her lover forever. There is a restaurant on the lake where you can order freshly caught trout.
