Descriptions and photographs of the main attractions of Stupino

The city of Stupino is located in the south of the Moscow region, 88 km from the Moscow Ring Road or 99 km from Paveletsky Station.

As you might guess, it is connected to the capital by direct road and rail links. However, the road to Stupino deserves special mention - this is the federal highway “Don”, on which traffic is organized without traffic lights, which means that you can get to Moscow quite quickly.

Metro stations from which you can transfer to transport going to Stupino are “Nagatinskaya”, “Varshavskaya”, “Paveletskaya” (railroad), “Krasnogvardeyskaya” (bus or minibus).

Let's consider the advantages and disadvantages of choosing real estate in the city of Stupino and its surroundings.

General information about the city

A small town located in the Moscow region - Stupino, the majority of whose attractions are dedicated to aviation, is a large industrial center. The city is home to a large number of factories working for the country's military-industrial complex. There are also foreign companies here.

Stupino is constantly developing, but echoes of that Soviet era, when the city was still closed, remain. Everything seems clean and in order, but there is no proper service.

The city has interesting historical facts. For example, in 1931, an order was given to build an electric locomotive plant, which was to be located five kilometers from Stupino. This played a significant role in the life of the future city. Three years later, the village of Stupino turns into a village called “Electrovoz”.

Four years later, the village disappeared because construction of the plant was stopped. However, the local workers, as well as the engineers, did not like this, and they reached out to Stalin. After which it was decided to complete the construction of the plant, but now it specialized in the production of training aircraft, propellers and turbochargers. In 1938, the village acquired the status of a city and returned to its former name - Stupino.

Features of accommodation

Stupino is one of the most industrialized cities in the Moscow region. The main enterprises of the city: NPP Aerosila, Stupino Metallurgical Company and Stupino Machine-Building Production Enterprise. These giants provide a large number of jobs, and despite the economic crisis, they continue to increase production capacity.

Moreover, in Stupino there are several representative offices of large foreign companies (dairy products), Mars (animal feed), Knauf Insulation (building materials), La Fortezza (racks), Kimberly Clark (children's products), also Polish windows, Italian porcelain tiles, Russian dishes, packaging and building boards.

Trinity Belopesotsky Monastery

The monastery is located in the outskirts of the city, on the banks of the Oka River. Its foundation dates back to the 15th century, and it was done by Vladimir Belopesotsky.

Initially, men lived in the monastery. After some events, this building turned into a prison and dormitory for workers. In 1993, it was decided to restore the monastery, but now it is intended for women.

In addition to the monastery itself, there are various cultural and architectural monuments on the territory. For example, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist.

Property Features

Recently, the city has been actively growing. The Tsentralny microdistrict is being built up: here, along with apartment buildings, kindergartens, schools, pharmacies, shops are appearing - the development plan for the area provides for the presence of a full package of social, everyday and cultural facilities within walking distance.

It is interesting to note the rational planning of the city - a separate industrial zone, a convenient location of streets (thanks to the perpendicular-parallel layout), the active participation of city-forming enterprises and simply major market players in the social and cultural projects of the city, which is a definite plus for the residents of Stupino.

Thus, on the territory of several Stupino villages, an ambitious integrated development project is being developed - where there will be multi-storey residential buildings, low-rise buildings and private houses and cottages, as well as a park for residents with an area of 800 hectares.

Museum of History and Local Lore

A very popular place with a large number of different collections. Among them you can see beautiful canvases that belong to different periods, a large collection of coins, and also get acquainted with the decorative and applied arts of Stupino. The museum also has interesting old photographs and valuable documents.

In general, the building consists of five halls. Exhibits in the museum continue to be replenished. For example, exhibitions change regularly in two halls. The remaining rooms are given over to permanent exhibitions.

Monument to the creators of propellers

For people who are interested in aviation, this is a favorite attraction in the city of Stupino. The monument is located on Victory Avenue.

A beautiful alley leads to the aviation monument. The monument consists of two metal columns, on which there is a large blue propeller, which from a distance looks like the sun.

Throughout the city there are often monuments related to aviation, but this one is the most interesting and popular among other attractions in Stupino.
