The Nugush reservoir, or as it is lovingly called the “man-made sea,” is famous for its unique beauty far beyond the borders of our region.

Big Limonovsky ridge

The most striking part of the ridge is the rock “circus”. The rocks, looking like sharp giant teeth, are spread out here in a circle, which is why they got the name “circus”. The highest “teeth” reach a length of 35 m. Some rock formations have such a bizarre shape that you can’t help but wonder if they are of natural origin... The place is fantastic!

Before going on such a vacation in the field, you need to decide on the location of the camp - there are several of them in the Republic of Bashkiria.
Inzer
This is the most “tourist” river in the republic, on the banks of which there are two main campsites for camping enthusiasts. The first one is called “71st kilometer”, which is also the name of the station where the train from Ufa stops. It will be possible to reach the base from the station only through the river, crossing it into a ford.
The specific crossing point is easy to find, and there are always experienced travelers nearby who will be happy to give tips. It should be taken into account that the depth of the river in this place barely reaches a waist with an average height, but its current here is quite strong, and the bottom is strewn with stones - in general, you need to take precautions during the transition.
The 71st kilometer is a clear clearing where you can always find a place for a tent. There is no charge for staying here, which is what attracts nature and water lovers. Often in a clearing you can find a place for a fire, “horns” in the ground for easy cooking, and even small supplies of sugar/salt - these are what almost all novice travelers forget.
Inzer River
The second stop – 95th kilometer, is almost identical to the previous one. The only difference is that there are no clearly defined areas for setting up a tent: everything is mixed up, there is some kind of disorder.
You can swim in the Inzer River, but it has a strong current, so you need to exercise some caution during water procedures. From any parking lot you can and should get to the Pink Rocks - stunning views are guaranteed. You will have to climb up, and if you don’t have the appropriate physical training, it will be difficult to do. However, absolutely everyone will be able to reach the first observation deck - the rock hangs like a canopy over the cliff, offering a wonderful view.
Atysh
This is a four-meter waterfall, the water of which flows from a natural spring inside the rock and is impeccably clean - if you look at it from the side, it appears blue. You can get to Atish from the 71st kilometer parking lot, but you will have to ford two rivers and climb/descend from a low mountain.
Near the waterfall there are tourist camps where you can camp with tents. And there are several caves around that you can get into on your own, but following simple rules - do not go far from the entrance (it must remain in sight), do not go into any branches. In general, excursions to these caves are organized by experienced guides - it is safe and interesting.
Atysh Waterfall
Burzyansky district
There are 4 campsites for campers with tents:
- “Three Brothers” - the village of Davletovo;
- “Razbonichya” - near the village of Mindigulovo;
- to the settlement of Kiekbaevo;
- near the Shulga-Tash nature reserve (2 km).
In these places, tourists stay with minimal comfort - the parking lots have showers, dry closets, and even the opportunity to use the simplest kitchen utensils. The cost of such a holiday will be in the range of 60 - 100 rubles per day per tent.
The only inconvenience is that you can only get to the camps by car, but there are travel companies that organize transportation of guests to their destination. The same service is also provided by local village residents.
Burzyansky district
Krasnousolsky
This is a famous resort village 135 km from Ufa, which stands on the banks of the Usolka River . If you are planning a holiday with a tent, then you should drive 2-5 km from the village and choose a parking spot near the river - you don’t need to pay for it. And a vacation in Krasnousolsky is interesting not only for the opportunity to contemplate natural beauty, swimming in the clear waters of Usolka and fishing, but also for the opportunity to visit an ostrich farm, natural mud “baths,” and a convent.
Around the village of Krasnousolkiy people often relax in tents with children - civilization is close, medical assistance is provided quickly, and in case of bad weather you can use the hotels of the village.

The favorite place of paragliders is the most beautiful view of the Bashkir land. There are three single mountains in total. Their age is more than 230 million years. For their majesty, the local people nominated the mountains to participate in the “Seven Wonders of Russia” project.
The highest mountain is Tratau. At the foot of this mountain there was one of the Gulag zones for female repeat offenders.
The longest is Kushtau, whose shape resembles a bird. At the foot there is the Kush-Tau ski complex.
And the third small mountain is Yuraktau. At the foot of the shihan there is Lake Moksha.

Tourist route to the Bashtau ridge

- Next, by car you need to get to the ancient village of Uzyan and at an azimuth of 270 degrees. go to the Bashtau ridge to the top of Big Shatak.
- On the Kukhtur River there are beautiful rocky faults up to 50 m high. The top of the ridge is a flat plain with prominent shale outcrops. The most interesting part of the route of the village of Verkhniy Avzyan. There were also Demidov blast furnaces here. And gold is still washed in streams. From the village of Verkhniy Avzyan there are buses to the city of Beloretsk.
