Dolgoprudny is a famous settlement in the Moscow region, adjacent to the metropolis. There are rumors that the city is planned to be included in Moscow. Savelovsky railway station is 18 km away, Sheremetyevo airport is 8 km away. On the south side, Dolgoprudny borders on the Moscow Ring Road, on the east and north – on Mytishchi. The main asset of the town is the historical and cultural attractions of Dolgoprudny. Every guest should definitely look at the famous Kurgan.
At the beginning of the 20th century, summer cottages began to grow near the Long Ponds ponds. Not far from one of the blocks, the Dolgoprudnaya stop was built, from which the village began to grow rapidly. In 2022, this is one of the dynamically developing towns in the Moscow region. But reviews from people who have moved are contradictory. Like any city, it has its pros and cons.
Ecology in the city of Dolgoprudny
The main problems are related to the sources of technogenic environmental pollution. The town is home to many industrial enterprises that can emit harmful substances into the atmosphere. Another source of pollution is transport.
Nearby is the Moscow Ring Road and CHPP-21, on the eastern side is Dmitrovskoye Highway. Most of the transport moves towards the metropolis and from it through the city near Moscow. There is a railway running through the settlement, which is crossed by three crossings for cars.
In another part of Dolgoprudny, the ecology is more favorable. Nearby there are park areas, forests, the Moscow River flows nearby and the Klyazmenskoye Reservoir is located. Having bought an apartment in this part of the village, you can enjoy the silence away from the noise and dust of the capital.
When deciding whether to move to Dolgoprudny, do not forget about the Sheremetyevo airport located nearby; planes circle over the Tsentralny district before landing, they are heard and seen constantly. This is especially annoying at night. Sometimes it seems that an airliner will land next to your house.
Transport accessibility and infrastructure
Dolgoprudny is located 5 km from the Moscow Ring Road. The town runs 10 km along the Savelovskaya railway line. There are 5 stations on the territory of the settlement - Khlebnikovo, Sheremetyevskaya Dolgoprudnaya, Vodnikov, and Novodachnaya, which provides free access to Moscow. From Novodachnaya to the capital it is 25 minutes, Sheremetyevskaya to the Savelovsky station - 40 minutes.
For bus drivers and motorists, the situation is a little more complicated: you can leave Dolgoprudny along the Likhachevskoye or Dmitrovskoye highway. They have recently been reconstructed. But during rush hour the highways are overloaded. By bus to the Altufyevo metro station - 35 minutes, Skhodnenskaya or Rechnoy Station - 45 minutes (excluding traffic jams).
There is direct access to transport highways: Sheremetyevskoye, Novodachnoye, Dmitrovskoye, Dolgoprudnenskoye highway, M-11 highway, Likhachevsky Avenue.

The architectural splendor of Dolgoprudny
Dolgoprudny is a relatively young city that has not seen the era of nobles and merchants. Nevertheless, estates have been preserved in its surroundings, which (despite their age) have not lost their splendor.
Manor Mysovo
- Address: Parkovaya street, 33.
The Mysovo estate was founded at the turn of the 15th-16th centuries on the picturesque shore of the Kalyazin reservoir. The estate changed owners many times. The last of them was the merchant-industrialist A.G. Kuznetsov. Under him, the estate acquired its final appearance. Kuznetsov laid out a magnificent park and built a mansion that has survived to this day.
It is a two-story house with a hexagonal tower in the Gothic style. The tower is decorated with a crest and a crenellated cornice. In addition to the mansion, on the territory of Mysovo there were a stable and six wooden houses for guests.
Kuznetsov left the estate after the October Revolution, going abroad. Today, a branch of the local history museum is opened in his mansion. The park created by Kuznetsov also continues to exist. The landscape design has undergone changes, but the ancient alleys and ponds have remained intact. Mysovo Park is often visited by connoisseurs of natural beauty and ancient architecture.
Manor Lipovka
- Coordinates on the map: 55.924311, 37.583493.
In 1908, on the territory of the modern Mytishchi district, architect I.V. Zholtovsky built a magnificent mansion. The owner of this creation was the merchant Alekseev, which explains the second name of the estate “Lipki-Alekseevskie”.
The manor house is made of brick in the Baroque style. It is decorated with an attic, antique columns, a balustrade with figured columns and a magnificent balcony. The complex also included stables, outbuildings with galleries, gazebos and an arched bridge spanning a park pond. The main entrance was “guarded” by a pair of marble lions. The last owner of the estate was the manufacturer A. Ruperti, who bought it in 1893.
After the October Revolution, the estate was nationalized. In 1933, it became the property of Stalin, who used it as a country dacha. Since 1989, the former estate has been occupied by the children's department of the cancer center.

Housing prices are explained by transport accessibility and developed infrastructure.
Pervunin Alexander Vladimirovich, head of the department of the White Square International Scientific Center, 14 years of experience in the real estate market
Expert's opinion: “Dolgoprudny is an actively developing urban district. High-rise buildings are rising in place of old buildings. The cost of housing is comparable to Moscow prices. The Central district is very popular among buyers due to its developed infrastructure and transport accessibility. The shortage of clinics, kindergartens and schools is, of course, noticeable. But this is how things are in many regions of Russia. There is an airport nearby and you can hear planes. But from the point of view of livability, this is not a bad town in the Moscow region. This year, many are trying to move here. There are many landscaped park areas for walking.”

It is impossible to visit all the sights of Dolgoprudny in one day. Tourists who have limited time should devote it to the best places in the city.
Vinogradovo estate ensemble
- Address: Dmitrovskoye sh., 165, building 2.
The estate is located on the outskirts of Dolgoprudny, close to Moscow. It was founded in the first half of the 17th century and belonged to the noble family of the Pushkins. The first owner of the estate was Gavriil Georgievich Pushkin, a governor, a distant ancestor of Alexander Pushkin, whom the poet mentioned in the work “Boris Godunov”.
Later, the estate passed to Gabriel’s grandson, Matvey Stepanovich. He was destined to become the last of the Pushkin family to own the Vinogradovo estate. Matvey's son Fyodor took part in the Streltsy rebellion, for which Peter I ordered his execution and his father's exile to Siberia.
After this, the estate was empty until it was bought by Alexander Glebov, a relative of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna. It was under him that the estate complex acquired modern features. Glebov built a magnificent mansion and the Vladimir Church in the classicist style. At this time, Gabriel Derzhavin and Nikolai Karamzin visited the estate.
From the end of the 18th century. and until 1895 the Benckendorf nobles owned the estate. Once Ivan Krylov stayed with them.
The era of prosperity of the estate ended in 1917. The revolution left traces of destruction and desolation on the manor houses. In the 1930s, the complex was recognized as an architectural monument. Throughout the Soviet period, it was restored and maintained in the best possible condition.
Today on the territory of Vinogradovo the following buildings have been preserved:
- Herman's house is a log house in the eclectic style with a recognizable turret. Named after the last owner of the R.V. Herman.
- The Banza House is a stone building in the classicist style with an elegant portico and colonnade.
- The Vladimir Church is a unique example of architecture and the only functioning building of the complex.
The ensemble is lost in the forest. The roofs of the mansions are visible from the banks of Dolgiye Ponds. Despite all attempts to preserve the architectural heritage, the estate ensemble is inevitably destroyed. Soon buildings like Herman's house will be lost.

The Kazan Church was erected in 2003 on the site of the ancient wooden Church of St. George the Victorious. The church amazes with the luxury of its decorations and the beauty of its facades.

A colorful touch to the composition is added by golden and azure domes with stars covering the blind and light drums. The facades are painted in milky tones, and the copper-colored molding adds expressiveness to the composition.

These are houses that have been built and put into operation. The average price per square meter is 110 thousand rubles, an apartment with a simple layout will cost 6 million rubles. The cost is stable, together with developed infrastructure and transport accessibility - this is a big plus.
There are very few offers on the primary market. In older buildings, the cost of housing is somewhat inflated - 90-120 thousand rubles. But they are practically not popular.
How much it costs to rent a home depends on many factors. Average prices are 18-55 thousand rubles. They do not lag behind Moscow prices.
The housing stock totals 3.5 million square meters, 50% was built after 2000. The primary market is represented by projects of two developers who are among the top construction companies in the Moscow region: DSK LLC, Granel Group of Companies. Residential complex "Moskovskie Vodniki", microdistrict ", as well as microdistrict "Khlebnikovo", residential complex "Brigantina". The price in buildings under construction starts from 83 thousand per sq. m. m. The minimum budget for purchasing an apartment is 3.7 million.
Among the 14 satellite cities of the metropolis, Dolgoprudny ranks last in terms of the number of newly built housing stock. There are practically no offers on the primary market. Many houses have been completed and apartments have already been sold out.
Yusupov's possessions
In the first third of the 18th century, the Repninsky estate was acquired by Prince Boris Grigorievich from the famous Yusupov family. The village grew and was now called Spassky-Kotov. Thus, according to the clergy registers of 1776, it already included 33 parish houses and about 350 peasants.
Years passed, and the Yusupovs decided to build a family tomb in their estate church. A crypt appeared under the Vladimir chapel, where the daughter and widow of Boris Grigorievich were buried. Cast iron slabs were installed over their graves.
The prince’s son, Nikolai Borisovich, a well-known connoisseur and connoisseur of the arts, took up further improvement of the estate. In his younger years, he rarely visited Spassky-Kotov, preferring the luxurious Arkhangelskoe (where, by the way, Pushkin stayed with him, who dedicated his famous poem “To the Nobleman” to N.B. Yusupov) and managed the Kotov estate, as they say, remotely. But, note, it is quite effective. For example, on his orders, a brick factory began to operate in the village, and Kotovo itself acquired a regular layout with alleys - “prespekts”.
In the refusal books of 1790 it is stated that “in the village of Spassky, Kotovo, also, a stone church of the Savior of the Image Not Made by Hands with a chapel of the Vladimir Mother of God, a wooden house... a formal garden with greenhouses, fruitful trees, four ponds.”
An indicative fact: despite his passion for Arkhangelsk, it was in Spasskoye-Kotovo that Nikolai Borisovich Yusupov, who had seen as many as six Russian autocrats in his long life, came to while away his last years. In the summer of 1831, at the height of the cholera epidemic, the prince died. He was buried in Kotov, in the Vladimir chapel behind the altar. In 1832, a year after the death of the famous nobleman, a tomb was erected over his grave - a square tent in plan.
