Poddubny Park

Museum of a real strongman
Ivan Maksimovich came to Yeysk from Zaporozhye in 1927 and lived there for about 22 years. Ivan Poddubny spent the last years of his life in the city of Yeisk. That is why it was decided to create a museum dedicated to the famous strongman. The exhibitions located here tell about his life, about overcoming difficulties on the way to his first victories and about universal recognition.
Be sure to visit this museum, built in the form of a tent (it was in these that Ivan Poddubny, a six-time world champion in French wrestling, performed before the revolution). Poddubny,” these were the athlete’s gifts to daredevils who were not afraid to enter the ring with him to fight.
