MsMap.ruMoscow region Lyubertsy

Lyubertsy is the most densely populated city in the Moscow region, located southeast of the capital. The first mention of the settlement of Lyubertsy-Nazarovo dates back to 1621. From the moment the railway connection appeared here, the village of Lyubertsy began to develop rapidly: the population grew, residential buildings and industrial facilities were built. In the 19th century, this area was a popular summer cottage area. A century later, the New York steam plant, and later the New York agricultural machinery plant, was built here, owned by a foreigner, Thomas Purdais. In the 30s of the 20th century, the village of Lyubertsy became a city, the territory of which gradually expanded due to the inclusion of small villages and villages located in the immediate vicinity.

Today Lyubertsy is a large industrial center, with more than 25 enterprises of various types operating here. Particularly famous are the Kamov Helicopter Plant, Selkhozmash LLC, and NPK Sovershennaya Mekhanika.

The most famous sights of the city of Lyubertsy are the Vvedenskaya Church - a 17th-century building, the ruins of the Zeninsky aqueduct - a historical site of the 20th century, the Bogorodskoye-Kraskovo and Zenino estates.

Thematic exhibitions are dedicated to the history of the area, various areas of art, and outstanding residents of the city. Where to go in Lyubertsy after the excursion? The city has another significant cultural institution - the Palace of Culture. In the Lyubertsy Palace of Culture there are various clubs and sections in which children and adults study. Concerts, performances and other events are held here periodically. The Palace of Culture is located on Oktyabrsky Prospekt, 200. It is recommended to book or buy tickets in advance for concerts of popular stars.

Lyubertsy

The city of Lyubertsy is a city in the east of Moscow. Lyubertsy received city status in 1925, and the official date of foundation of the settlement on this site is considered to be 1623, when the village of Khazartsevo appeared here.

At the entrance to Lyubertsy along Oktyabrsky Prospekt there is a stele with exactly this date - 1623.

If you go further into the city along Oktyabrsky Avenue, you will soon come out on the left side to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. The belfry of the temple, which is also the gate to the church territory.

Above the entrance to the temple is a mosaic icon of the Savior Not Made by Hands.

And behind the Transfiguration Church is the wooden Church of Innocent, Bishop of Irkutsk

On Kirova Street there is a fire station, interesting because in front of it there are two examples of old fire fighting equipment.

Modern equipment leaving the fire station gates seems simply huge compared to the old ones.

Town A, part of Lyubertsy, used to be a closed military garrison. Fences and war graffiti remained as a reminder of this.

From the same intersection you can see the dilapidated buildings of the former Ukhtomsky plant. (This is how they were in 2010)

At the intersection of Vlasova Street and Oktyabrsky Prospekt - the Eternal Flame - a monument to the liberating soldiers, heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

The street at the intersection of which the memorial is installed is named after the senior inspector of fighter aircraft of the Red Army Air Force Inspectorate, Lieutenant Colonel Vlasov. A brave pilot who was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union on November 23, 1942. By this time, he had flown 220 sorties and shot down 10 enemy aircraft in 27 air battles.

Another monument to the victors of wars is nestled in one of the courtyards of the town of A.

In my opinion, over the past 5 years he has changed somewhat. At least he changed his position.

Also behind one of the fences of town A you can find a monument to Lenin

At the intersection of Komsomolskaya Street and Oktyabrsky Prospect stands Lyceum No. 10 named after Yuri Gagarin

It was here that Yuri Gagarin studied from 1949 to 1951.

The walls of the lyceum are decorated with two more memorial plaques

Between the Lyceum and Oktyabrsky Prospekt there is a monument to Gagarin

In 2011, a monument to Gagarin was erected in London, which is a copy of this monument.

From the side, the monument looks somewhat strange - as if Gagarin is riding on a wheel.

By the way, in the new Krasnaya Gorka district in Lyubertsy in 2009, an avenue named after Yuri Gagarin appeared.

At the same intersection but a little further stands Pushkin A.S. – a small bust of Pushkin.

Basketball fans should also be familiar with the Lyubertsy Triumph Sports Palace, where the team of the same name played until 2014.

Opposite the sports palace is the administration of the Lyubertsy district.

Behind the administration building is a city park. Walking along it, I remembered Muzeon at the Central House of Artists.

Between the park and the stadium stands the House of Culture and in front of it is another Lenin.

Lenin is also depicted on the mosaic of the post office building opposite.

In Lyubertsy courtyards there are also such wooden buildings. I think they will disappear soon. The city is being actively rebuilt.

Lyubertsy is better known to many by its railway station. Remember the joke “Lyubertsy, uncle” ;0)

There are also several monuments on the northern side of Lyubertsy. Including this stele with an angel of peace holding a dove.

A helicopter was installed on the Street of Warriors of Internationalists in memory of those who did not return from the wars.

There are several more stone sculptures near the Natasha Ponds recreation park.

And this is a view from the Krasnaya Gorka microdistrict under construction to the Lyubertsy station

Nowadays you can’t take such a photo anymore. A new residential complex “Academichesky” appeared on the right, and the panorama was closed by new buildings of the residential complex “Krasnaya Gorka”.

And this is the Krasnaya Gorka microdistrict itself, in which in 2011 there was no landscaping or lighting yet

And below it is already 2014. See how the area has changed by 2014 on the Krasnaya Gorka page.

Here is a brief overview of the sights of Lyubertsy. Also, unlike Ramensky, there was immediately a place to eat normally and drink a glass of mulled wine. Of course, not all the sights of Lyubertsy were included in this report, however, I think I will have a chance to supplement it.

The city's attractions

A number of historical buildings have been preserved in Lyubertsy and its environs. Unfortunately, without proper attention, many architectural monuments today look deplorable. A worthy example of the historical development of the city is the house of N.A. Krooming. You can look at this wooden mansion at the address: st. Krasnaya, no. 1. The oldest surviving Orthodox church in the city is the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord built in the 17th century (Oktyabrsky Prospekt, no. 117). Where can lovers of real ancient architecture go in Lyubertsy? You can feel the spirit of the times and the mixture of different eras in the historical center of the city. In its surroundings you can visit ancient estates, which are now in ruins. The most famous of them: Bogorodskoye-Kraskovo (Kraskovo village) and the Zenino estate with an ancient aqueduct, located in the village of the same name.

Attractions Lyubertsy

In the very heart of the city of Lyubertsy is the Lyubertsy City Palace of Culture. This cultural institution is quite famous; it was with its graduates, the Lyubertsy Pop Orchestra, that Leonid Serebryannikov first began performing. The artist, a graduate of the Moscow Operetta Theater, gained wide fame thanks to his performances of songs from popular Soviet films. Among them are “An Ordinary Miracle”, “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers”, “Poor Masha” and many others. In addition to Leonid Serebryannikov, Nikolai Rastorguev, who later became the lead singer of the Lyube group, performed as a vocalist with the orchestra.

Next to gymnasium No. 5, which bears the name of the pilot Nikolai Ivanovich Vlasov, who is a Hero of the USSR, his monument is erected. On the account of N.I. Vlasov completed 320 successful combat missions, during 27 air battles he personally destroyed 10 enemy aircraft. In August 1941, he was hospitalized due to severe wounds after a ramming attack. I could not fly for a year, as the treatment was protracted, during which time I prepared young pilots for flights.

The Triumph Sports Palace provides a wide range of sports opportunities. On its territory there is a gym, cardio zone, fitness facilities, large and small sports arenas, children's play complex, sauna, swimming pool, solarium, beauty salon, etc. The gym occupies a special place in the sports palace. It is equipped with high-class exercise equipment that allows you to work on all muscle groups. Exercising in the gym will help you acquire a beautiful figure, posture, increase immunity and endurance, and strengthen the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

House of N.A. Kruminga is the most interesting landmark of the city of Lyubertsy, located on Krasnaya Street. The building, owned by the manager of an American plant, is known primarily for the fact that V.I. Lenin came here in 1920-1921. The director of a factory specializing in the production of agricultural machinery was very fond of hunting, and often organized this entertainment, to which he invited from time to time the leader of the world proletariat. The history of the city says that workers of the Kruming plant participated in revolutionary events and actively supported the Bolshevik government.

The Lyubertsy Museum of Local Lore is located in the restored building of the former Old Believer chapel, built around 1906. The museum hospitably opened its doors to guests on November 5, 1976. It was created by Honored Cultural Worker, Great Patriotic War veteran Mikhail Petrovich Izmetyev. The exhibition is based on paintings, graphics, photographs, arts and crafts, ethnographic materials, dishes, furniture, other interior items and much more.

The owner of the estate was Count Rumyantsev-Zadunaisky. Previously, this architectural structure was called Karneevo, but then the estate received a name from its owner Zinaida Sergeevna and began to be called Zenino. The lower floor of the building was built of stone, the other two were made of wood. The owners of the estate spared no expense, investing it in the estate, turning it into an example of landowner culture, building dams, bridges, stone roads, and a greenhouse in which they grew various types of fruits, such as plums, peaches, pineapples and grapes. In addition, the owners of the estate kept cattle and bred a special breed of these animals, which was later called “Didovskaya”.

In the city of Lyubertsy near Moscow, the first monument to the heroic helicopter pilots who did not return from the war taking place in Chechnya, Afghanistan and other hot spots will be erected. Residents of the city of Lyubertsy, representatives of city authorities and veteran organizations attended the opening ceremony of the monument. Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Vitaly Pavlov called the Mi-24 the most popular and reliable combat helicopter. The fact that the monument was unveiled in this city is very symbolic, since in Lyubertsy there are two helicopter plants - named after Mill and named after Kamov, and Russian combat helicopters are also undergoing flight tests.

This extraordinary monument was erected in 1918 at the site of the execution of twelve participants in the revolution, including driver Alexey Ukhtomsky, after whom the plant in the city of Lyubertsy and the station of the Kazan Railway were named. On the pedestal there is a monument and a slab on which the names of those killed during the 1905 revolution are carved. In the same place, according to some historical data, the victims of the second Russian Revolution are buried - representatives of the White movement and Red Guards. The memorial is located in the very center of Lyubertsy on Initiative Street in a park area, not far from the central market.

On the territory of this picturesque forest park area grows more than 300 species of plants, such as oak, pine, birch, spruce, as well as the following rare species listed in the Red Book: moonflower, spotted orchis, corydalis and European swimmer. In addition to 70 species of trees and shrubs, 120 species of herbaceous plants, Tomilinsky Park is home to a population of squirrels, and more than 26 species of birds nest. The main objective of excursions held in the forest park is to familiarize visitors with the flora and fauna, as well as improve their environmental education.

In the holiday village of Natashino, which is currently located within the city of Lyubertsy, there is the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity. The Orthodox church was built at the expense of summer residents; the idea of construction arose in early 1911. The doors of the church were not closed even in Soviet times. At the time of the start of construction, a fairly large number of summer residents lived in the dacha village: in the summer the number reached 3,000 people, and in the winter about 1,000. In those days, Natashino and the city of Lyubertsy were separated by a railway and in order to get to the Transfiguration Church, located in Lyubertsy, it was necessary to cross the railway tracks.

The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord was built in 1632 by clerk Ivan Gryazev. After 4 years, it was decided to demolish the sanctuary, since, according to the official version, it interfered with the expansion of the Ryazan road. In the 90s, the restoration of this sacred monastery began: first a small wooden chapel appeared, then a bell tower was added to it, then an altar part (1996-1997). In the mid-90s, the foundation of the future temple was laid, but subsequently the administration began to lack financial resources to continue construction, the construction of the temple was postponed indefinitely and returned to its restoration only in 2006.

Monuments and sculptures on the streets of Lyubertsy

One of the newest and most unusual monuments in Lyubertsy can be seen on Oktyabrsky Prospekt. This is a sculptural composition “Guys from our yard”, dedicated to the musical group “Lube”. The monument depicts the permanent vocalist of the group, Nikolai Rastorguev, and a girl with dumbbells, presumably she is the heroine of a popular song. Those interested can sit on the bench next to the bronze figures for an original photograph.

Where can tourists interested in street sculpture go in Lyubertsy? In the city there is an interesting monument to Yu. Gagarin, erected near the school where the future cosmonaut once studied. The sculpture depicts Yuri Alekseevich confidently walking along the stylized path of space discovery. The city also has monuments dedicated to the heroes of the Second World War and memorial plaques to outstanding citizens.

One of the most original monuments in the city is a monument to military pilots flying helicopters. The monument represents a MI-24 military vehicle mounted on a high stele. The monument did not appear by chance: two helicopter factories are successfully operating in the city. MI-24 is one of the best vehicles in its class, characterized by high reliability characteristics.

City parks

Where can you go with your child in Lyubertsy for a walk and relax? The city has two large parks. The central one is considered the most important in Lyubertsy. Mass festivities on holidays, various cultural and sporting events are held here. Central Park has attractions, sports and children's playgrounds, bike paths and alleys for quiet walks. Natasha Park is another large, landscaped recreation area. In addition to traditional carousels, there is a rope park and a petting zoo. In Natasha Park there is a designated area for the use of barbecues, and there is a rental of boats and other water transport near the pond.
