Noginsk: ecology at “5”, transport accessibility at “4”, large selection of apartments of different “calibres”

Noginsk near Moscow through the eyes of a resident

Noginsk is not my hometown, but now I live here. True, I’m planning to move, since the Moscow climate, as it turns out, is quite cold and humid. Therefore, if you have health problems, I do not recommend the Moscow region to you.

Noginsk is a regional ancient city with its own unique architecture. It is the center of the Bogorodsky urban district of the Moscow region.

It is very interesting that the city grew from the village of Rogozhsk, then transformed into the city of Bogorodsk, and after 1930 it was renamed Noginsk.

The city has always had many factories; historically, textile production developed here, which grew even more during Soviet times.

And in recent years, there has been an influx into the city, many factories and industrial zones have been built, in 2015 the Noginsk district was recognized as the winner and awarded a diploma from the Ministry of Investment and Innovation of the Moscow Region in the “Industrial Growth” category.

The most famous enterprises are: OJSC "Russian Sea", Bogorodsky cold storage plant (produces very tasty ice cream according to GOST), bakery, "Estima" (production of porcelain stoneware), OJSC "Foundry-Mechanical Plant" (art casting and forging, forged furniture, manufacturing stairs, fences made of non-ferrous metal and wood), Furniture Factory “MOON - Living Sofas”, Noginsk Chair Factory, Furniture Molchanov LLC, Oriflame plant.

There are a lot of chain stores: Dixy, Pyaterochka, Magnit, there is Ataki, the “Da!” supermarket has recently opened, Eldorado, Kari, many convenience stores, jewelry stores, construction stores are represented by the hypermarket “LEROY MERLIN” and Usadba, a lot of cellular communication stores - Megafon, Billine, Tele2, Svyaznoy, there are Fixprices, Okay (a large hypermarket, located along the Gorky highway next to Leroy Merlin and a large furniture center), Perekrestok, points for issuing online orders Valberrys, Ozone.

There are also restaurants, cafes, fitness clubs and gyms, and swimming pools.

There are bathhouses, dry cleaners, laundries, repair shops, beauty salons, and hairdressers.

For guests of the city, since many pilgrims travel to the city, many “Houses for Visitors” and hotels are open.

Travel agencies and insurance companies, hospitals and clinics, private medical centers, dentists operate for residents, and the Salty salt rooms have opened.

There are bank branches: Sberbank, MKB, Pochtabank, Promsvyazbank, VTB, Rosselkhozbank, Vozrozhdenie, and many different ATMs in different parts of the city.

There are also real estate agencies.

You can get to Moscow by buses that go every 25 minutes to the metro stations Chkalovskaya, Shchelkovskaya, Partizanskaya and Kursky Station (by express the travel time is about 1 hour), as well as from two railway stations Noginsk and Zakharovo. Usually local residents and residents of nearby villages come by car, leave it in a free parking lot near the Zakharovo station and go to Moscow.

To save time, they get to the Reutovo station, and there, in the Novokosino metro station, and here it is, underground Moscow.

By car, everyone travels to Moscow along the Gorkovskoye Highway, depending on the time of day and day of the week, you can get there in 35 minutes or 2 hours.

There are a lot of vehicles in charge of the city, private taxi drivers (Yandextaxi, Uber aggregators), but there are no more trams here, the railway tracks, however, have not all been completely dismantled yet. And if you drive around the city by car or minibus, you can see where the tram route used to be. Many residents have their own personal transport. There are also carsharing cars.

There are also favorable conditions for families with children; there are nurseries, kindergartens, schools, lyceums and even universities, which allows you not to travel to Moscow, but to study from home. For special children there is a boarding school, a special school, music, art and sports schools. There are many clubs open for children in the cultural center next to Glukhovo Park. Private education has been developed.

There is also a place to relax: there are 2 large parks, one Komsomolsky, the other in the Glukhovo microdistrict, the rest of the parks are smaller.

Alley of Fairy Tales

The first is notable for the Alley of Fairy Tales and the Ferris Wheel; the second historical center is the Morozov Estate; you can walk through its house after agreeing on a tour. In the same park there is a mini complex for children to learn the rules of the road, and there is a dedicated bike path for cycling enthusiasts. The park itself is full of pine and larch trees, and if you are looking for a place for photos in nature, this park is what you need. At the entrance to the park there is a bench-house with shelves on which you can bring books for free exchange, put your own or take those available there.

Concerts and folk festivals are also constantly held in Glukhovo Park, especially during major holidays (Maslenitsa, New Year, March 8) - local television comes.

Behind the park there is a newly built modern Znamya stadium, where our famous athletes train, new stands with a capacity of more than 2000 people.

There is also one large stadium, “Avtomobilist”, in addition to the football field there are running tracks, an outdoor tennis court with rubber coating, a mini-football area, and gymnastics equipment.

There is also a theater in the city, where metropolitan artists, conversational artists, singers periodically perform and plays are staged. Prices are reasonable.

The city is famous for its temples, one of the most famous is located on the street. Klimova - Church of St. Matrona of Moscow. The Epiphany and Tikhvin Cathedrals are very beautiful, and there is also a Muslim Church. There are parishes of other faiths.

Generally speaking, Noginsk consists of microdistricts formed from former villages and villages: Istomkino, Domozhirovo, Glukhovo, Yamkino (joined the city in 2022), etc.

It is noteworthy that the center in this city is considered to be the outskirts in the general sense of the word - a place near the railway and bus stations (they are nearby).

Despite the fact that there is a local beautiful Arbat with a pedestrian area and the historical center of Glukhovo.

Of the new buildings, it is worth highlighting the Polet residential complex, Istomkino residential complex, Central Usadba residential complex, Akademika Fortov residential complex, Belyakova residential complex, these new buildings are proven, the rest are problematic - as a rule, long-term construction.

The city is not bad for living; the proximity to Moscow is also pleasing, so you can get there without transfers using any transport.

There are places to relax - parks, restaurants, cafes, just walk around to take pictures of ancient buildings and spiritually cleanse yourself by visiting any of the temples.

There are places to improve and maintain your health and cure - many clinics, both private and public, dentists, salt rooms, swimming pools, fitness centers.

There are places to make yourself beautiful - beauty salons, hairdressers.

There are shopping centers with famous brands of clothing and shoes.

You won't go hungry either - Dixie, 5's, Magnets at every step.

Yes, and creative diversity - you can go to the theater.

The Active Longevity program is open to pensioners.

There is also a lot of work for the working-age population; you don’t have to go to Moscow.

When choosing housing, it is better to give preference to new buildings and those already renovated by the owner. Because repairs from the developer are done by Uzbeks, but they do them poorly, as verified by personal experience. Well, for developers, such workers greatly reduce the cost of repairs.

Because, as a rule, to make repairs (good repairs, not from the developer) you will have to spend about 1 million rubles.

If in a nutshell about new buildings in Noginsk, then here is a short overview:

  1. Residential complex Polet - apartments for sale without finishing, standard and unusual layouts. There is only one entrance to the residential complex from the city side; there are traffic jams at the entrance, because... you need to cross the railway tracks along which electric trains go. The residential complex is built up point by point, there is a kindergarten, a school, and convenience stores. Not far from the forest and the Avtomobilist stadium. Cell phone reception is very poor. Since the building density is high, there are therefore problems with parking and utility bills are higher.
  2. Residential complex Istomkino - apartments with and without finishing, there is a rented building, there is a swimming pool nearby, you need to go to shops, a kindergarten, and a school. There is still parking available. The stadium is nearby and there is also a highway nearby - all the dust and fumes in the apartment, it is better to immediately install an air conditioner, utility bills are higher.
  3. Residential complex Centralnaya Usadba is a new ecologically clean area of Noginsk, annexed in 2022. The residential complex was commissioned, monolithic brick, plenty of parking spaces, nearby a yakhont forest, a school, kindergarten, hospital, clinic, everyday stores within walking distance, a small communal apartment. The advantage of this new building is that it is located in the Small Moscow Ring Road (MMKAD), Noginsk itself is located beyond the MMRKAD
  4. The residential complex on Akademika Fortova was built by the Finnish company YIT. The house is a panel, but with ventilated facades. The downside is the problem with parking and access to the highway, where there are always traffic jams and accidents, utility bills are average.
  5. The residential complex on Belyakova (Zarechye microdistrict) is an established area, one might say that it is no longer a new building, but still it is also included in this list. The building density is spotty, which means parking is a problem. But shops are within walking distance, you need to drive to school and kindergarten, and utility bills are higher.

Entrance area of many stores
While walking around the city, you will definitely notice how beautifully decorated the thresholds, staircases, entrance areas are, what beautiful forged benches - all this is produced by JSC LMZ.

In the Glukhovo area there is an exhibition hall where you can not only see various products of figured forging, but also purchase them for personal use.

Another important feature of the city is that many people keep dogs - and in the city itself there is a large dog kennel, as well as a canine service, where they will help teach your dog to properly serve the owner and follow commands, and this service also trains guide dogs for people who have vision problems.

Over the past 2 years, the city began to transform, abandoned buildings in the historical center began to be reconstructed, and this greatly changed the appearance of the city. He began to look more like Peter.

Near the Morozov Estate (Glukhovo microdistrict) - they made a beautiful descent to the Chernogolovsky Pond, in the summer fountain figures (pearl, mermaid, goldfish) are installed on the surface of the pond, there are restaurants on the water, barbecue is grilled in the park and the atmosphere is like at some coast of the southern city. Fireworks in the park are also frequent in the summer, so if you look at an apartment in this area, get ready for a fun summer (holidays, weddings, fireworks, almost every day).

Yes, another important point, in Noginsk, utility bills are not small; in the city center and in the old building, for a 1-room apartment with an area of 30 m2, you can pay from 6 thousand rubles. In new buildings, as a rule, the price is 2 times cheaper.

And despite the fact that the Housing and Communal Services Administration has changed the water pipes, from time to time all residents of the city, without exception, have yellow water flowing from their taps. More often in old buildings, much less often in new buildings. It is absolutely forbidden to drink water from the tap without additional purification measures - it risks poisoning!

Residents either install filters, which are not very helpful, or buy water in 5-liter bottles, or go to springs and wells.

The construction of a new high-speed railway line Moscow-Kazan has already begun; it will bypass Balashikha and Elektrostal, with a stop in Noginsk. Travel time will be 3 hours 20 minutes.

At first, as a motorist, it was strange to me that the speed limit in the city was 40 km per hour, there were a lot of cameras and even more lying policemen.

It is very pleasant that most of the traffic lights are duplicated, there is a digital display with a countdown, and for pedestrians when crossing there are light indicators with a letter designation, with a voice indicator, and red “STOP”, green “GO”.

And one more aspect, the closer to the city of Elektrostal, the stronger the terrible smell; most Elektrostal residents envy Noginsk residents, because they feel less of the smell from industrial production, factories and the incineration plant.

Another plus is that there is a stadium in almost every microdistrict. The city pays special attention to health and sports.

And sailing races take place on the Chernogolovsky Pond, beloved by residents. And this year 2022 there was a huge race of cyclists, athletes came from other countries, the city was closed to entry and exit.

And, of course, it is impossible to imagine Noginsk without fountains; you probably won’t see so many fountains in any city. As they say, the mayor of the city has a mandatory point on them - every district should have a beautiful oasis. You will also see the fountain when entering the city from Moscow.

Why do you so often have water for the homeless from taps in Noginsk? Why hasn't anyone brought down the building managers and water utilities yet? The scheme is the simplest. Write a complaint to the management company. If there is no response to the water utility. Next to the prosecutor's office. From the very beginning you can easily demand compensation. 100 applications are enough and your water will always be clean. I’m a newcomer, so it’s more difficult to download rights than for you owners. Or does everyone not care that you are poisoning yourself and your children? Or are you led to booths with the same water supply that has passed through a dubious filter? If anything, the water utility MUST supply water suitable for drinking to apartments straight from the tap. Rust content no more than 0.2 mg per 1 liter! Anything more is already a judicial matter. Above 0.8 mg per liter it is already POISON! And here everything is 1.0 mg per liter.

We’ve been to Noginsk 3 times, the last time we lived on Dekabristov Street 3, which is the city center. The water is simply not clear, neither wash nor swim, it’s just rust.. Can’t the residents of the city contact a service provider or the mayor’s office, or, at worst, write to the governor of the region.... as long as the residents endure all this, it will be so... and water is life. and there is such water throughout almost the entire city... and the city is quiet. calm.

We moved to the city of Noginsk quite recently; at first glance it’s a calm, well-maintained town; we decided to buy an apartment and then it all started - minus on minus. Some kind of technical 'dirty' stinking slurry is flowing from the tap, I'm in shock 'since we rented an apartment in Moscow' We’ve never seen anything like this before, the utility services are off the charts and they’re deceiving, I’m tired of traveling and asking for a recalculation, but alas, it’s useless and stupid organizations send... On the streets of Noginsk there are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo of of of of these of of out drunks who are everywhere. It’s scary... The kids are bored of going out for a few times to unwind and everyone “a hundred times does not want to go to the same places” depression in both the children and me. “It takes almost two hours to travel to Moscow in dirty cars” in a nutshell - disappointment and melancholy

The city could be quite suitable for life if...If the administration of Noginsk thought at least a little about the residents of the city, and not about their own selfish interests. ALL city infrastructure is in a terrible state: roads, the state of the housing stock, water and sewer communications. At the same time, prices for utilities are the HIGHEST in the Moscow region. The destroyed city center is a monument to the complete economic failure of the administration.

Everyone talks about fountains very interestingly, but there is not a single comment about medicine in this city! I am very interested in the pediatrician and the conditions at the clinic! I would really like to hear the opinion of local residents.

Elena Andreevna

Good day to all! We moved to Noginsk 6 months ago. We bought an apartment in the center, near Fontannaya Square. We prefer to do the repairs ourselves, so we looked at all the options; the condition of the apartments did not matter. We chose the location, condition of the house, square footage. They got it right with the housing. Now we are very glad that we chose this area. The renovations are almost complete, life is becoming more and more pleasant. We moved from Ulyanovsk (before that we lived in Moscow for 4 years and on the outskirts of St. Petersburg for 7 years). I can only compare with these cities. I don’t like residential areas, high-rise buildings and courtyards filled with cars. I prefer 4-5-story houses, spacious courtyards and a small number of neighbors. I feel more comfortable this way. Some people, on the contrary, prefer new buildings; they will feel uncomfortable in the center, or more precisely in the housing stock that is represented in the center. Among the advantages of Noginsk: 1. Very convenient communication with Moscow. There are both trains and motor transport: minibuses, regular buses and my favorite transport - comfortable express trains. But I go to Moscow only on weekends, so I can’t say anything about traffic jams. 2. Number of jobs and decent salaries. This is a very important point. They say that 10 years ago, work here was very unimportant; Noginsk residents had to go to work in Moscow. Now the situation is very favorable. Huge production and warehouse complexes have been opened: Uspensky Technopark and Ptlant Park in Obukhovo. There are a huge number of enterprises in these territories, and, accordingly, jobs. 3. The city itself is cozy and very calm. Those moving from the provinces will feel as comfortable here as at home. 4. There is all the infrastructure: hospitals, clinics, parks, a cinema, many shopping centers, a bunch of chain stores. Cons: 1. The water is bad. Not suitable for drinking or cooking (although the indigenous people claim that the water is excellent). Be prepared that you will have to order water, but this is not a problem here. The water is quite suitable for bathing and has no odor. But I only have cold water (+gas water heater). I can’t say anything about the quality of hot water supply, I don’t know. 2. It may not be easy to register your child for school, but nevertheless, if you have registration, they must admit you on August 15th. Until this moment, they can keep pushing you all summer and trying to persuade you to find another school. On August 15-16 they accept documents in silence. 2. If you are not on benefits, getting into kindergarten is even more difficult than getting into school. We haven’t completed this quest yet, so I can’t share any tricks. 3. No maintenance of houses and areas related to the house. In 6 months, the entrance has not been wet cleaned even once. Of course, residents wash themselves, but still. The service is included in the receipt, but is not provided. The same thing happens in the yard. If something is done, it is done only by the residents. The Criminal Code seems to be absent altogether. 4. High rent. For us, for less than 60 square meters, together with electricity (150-170 kW), in winter it costs 8,500 rubles per month. I think it's a little expensive. 5. There are practically no police on the streets. Of the minuses, probably everything. I saw Drunk once. I have never seen drug addicts. But I don’t go outside after 9 pm. And on weekdays in general, most often, it’s home-work. I use public transport, go from stop to stop, or go for a walk with my family, we have never encountered anything like this. Overall the city is very pleasant and the people are friendly.

I like Noginsk, I often ride a motorcycle there in the summer)))

Not long ago we moved to Noginsk, we were looking for an apartment closer to the railway station, there are a lot of drugs and drunks in the center... cockroaches walk on foot... kV there they offered similar to former HALLS.... (we were looking for up to 3 million kV) then we looked at a kV near the Zakharovo station, the downside is that there are a lot of stray dogs, there are pienotes (but I can find them everywhere) because there are no semi-living drug addicts in sight... what can I say about the houses.... those houses that belong to a state enterprise are in a deplorable state, and those houses that were transferred to non-state enterprises “a cozy home” have been restored... even the plastic windows in the entrances are gone, it’s time to clean... By the way, the snow in the yards in winter has never bothered us... they clear it on time!

lelik

The downside is that this is not Moscow) but an ordinary city, there is work. the fountains are beautiful) and the audience is more cultured than in the railway

Advantages:

  • Rich cultural life

Flaws:

  • Binge drinking
  • excessive pretentiousness
  • police inaction

Due to my line of work, I worked in Noginsk for four years, and I didn’t really like the city.

Firstly, there is too much show off, the city spends budget funds on a huge number of fountains (by the way, not very remarkable), illumination, which is attached to everything, even to temples and monuments, which I think is not really necessary for both the residents of Noginsk and for guests of the city.

Secondly, there is too much rampant drunkenness and drug addiction right in the city center, fights and stabbings occur regularly, and the local police department building is literally five steps from the site of these nightly outrages, and the police are inactive.

Well, thirdly, the city is like a city, no different from the cities of the Russian hinterland, despite its pompousness.

Advantages:

  • very beautiful city

Flaws:

  • did not see

I, myself, am from Transbaikalia. I came to this wonderful town to visit, and was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and friendliness of the locals. I really liked the city park, especially the alley of fairy tales, my child was delighted!!!!!

There are places to go with your family. We caught the attention of the suspension bridge with a fountain gushing straight from the river!!!!

A large number of fountains and a huge oak tree next to them attracted attention)))

Of course, we were not left unnoticed by the growing apples right on the street!! My husband and I knocked them down and collected them like crazy! ))))

Apartment prices here are relatively inexpensive, and I wouldn’t say that the town is dirty. I will definitely come here again!!!

https://otzovik.com/review_509587.html

Advantages:

  • Inexpensive housing

Flaws:

  • Water is rubbish! Yards and houses are in terrible condition
  • entrances are worse than crypts
  • There are very few lanterns and lamps in sleeping areas. Scary!

Good afternoon. We have only recently arrived in Noginsk and haven’t yet formed a final opinion about the city, but if we had known a few months ago about the quality of water in the city, we wouldn’t have set foot here! The water is dirty, smelly, smells of either iron or rot!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!! Neither changing pipes nor filters can help!!! It’s possible to come and visit for a day to walk around the city and leave, Noginsk is suitable, but for life it’s absolutely not!!! Because water is life, and when sewer slurry flows from the tap, you involuntarily think about selling the apartment you just purchased. I admit that many will say - where did you look when buying an apartment? Yes, it turned out unexpectedly. I opened the tap, there was water... turned it off... After all, it wouldn’t even occur to me that in the CITY, only 40 km away. from Moscow THIS is possible!!! And people living here consider this the norm (?), because NOT A SINGLE SOUL has spoken ill of this aspect of the issue...

As for people - people are like people, but, indeed, there is a LOT of drunkenness on the streets. We popped into school... Let me make a reservation that several years ago we were first-graders and went to get a job at a Moscow school. We didn’t have our own housing - we rented, registered, got food, but there wasn’t any either. We came to school. They told me. The head teacher’s answer: “It doesn’t matter whether you have a residence permit or not, the child is obliged to receive an education. We are expecting a baby on September 1st! “... And that’s it, friends, we became students of a Moscow school! In Noginsk: in one school we were informed that not every child is accepted into “our wonderful” school, although the school, by the way, is a comprehensive one, budget-funded, and closest to our house... And it looks like a prison... honestly! In the second, they asked to bring documents about ownership of the apartment. What's it like??? The third is in such, sorry, butt that it’s easier to go to our old school in Moscow.

Things like this... And we live here now and think: wouldn’t it be better to return to Moscow and rent a house there for 30,000 rubles. , but drink good water, swim and not stink of iron afterwards, go to a good school with friendly teachers, and not encounter drunks in the courtyard in the evenings, of whom, it seemed to me, there are much fewer in Moscow courtyards... =(((

Advantages:

  • There are two very beautiful temples
  • there is a drama theatre.

Flaws:

  • Bad roads
  • homeless dogs.

Noginsk (formerly Bogorodsk, according to the decree of Catherine II) is a depressing experience. In the very center of the city there is a cinema that has been empty for a year, although in Soviet times there were two cinemas in the city. Particularly attracting attention are the defects of the road surface and stray dogs constantly appearing here and there. General education schools look like patchwork repairs, with windows installed chaotically and not in all places (it’s immediately obvious that they ripped off money from parents). In the center of the city there are two pre-revolutionary churches; the grandeur and beauty of these buildings testify to the former prosperity of Bogorodsky district. On the main street there is a modern drama theater building.

The city has a small number of buildings built in the Art Nouveau style - this is a second school, a central store.

I myself am a visitor from another region. My family and I came to Noginsk 3 years ago while we are living with relatives, but we hope to buy our own home in the near future. I want to tell you that I have visited many cities, but most of all I liked this city. And most of all, my son liked Noginsk, especially the city park and fountain square. Nice, kind residents, sympathetic. Noginsk is a clean, beautiful city. there are places to go with the family. Well, it’s no different without bad people. They broke the door lock on the car and took out everything they could. And all my documents were in the glove compartment at the time, they didn’t leave them either. But the documents were later returned and tossed. In general, Noginsk is a very good city.

Flaws:

  • around the edges is an ordinary city

I only know this city while passing through, but even so I noticed how interesting it is.

I visited this city for the first time in 2015; before that I had never been there, although I constantly heard about it. We came there because a friend needed it (he needed to go to the bank). Then we walked along small streets, but they made an indelible impression on me: small old houses with narrow paths. All this looked very unusual to me, because besides modern houses I only saw the center of Moscow, which has always been something fabulous.

Then I saw the local fountains. Two-story fountain. It's very modern but centrally located among small houses. Beauty and nothing more! We weren’t there for long then, but for the first time, it was something!

After some time, I came there again. I got acquainted with the memory lane and the eternal flame, before that I had only seen it in my parents’ wedding photo. He looks very good. I advise you to stop by and visit there.

Monuments are scattered throughout the city: tanks, planes, guns. An interesting sight.

But I don’t understand why they still can’t remove the tram rails. Trams have not been running there for a long time, as I was told, but the rails still circle throughout the city, encircling it, in some places the rails are buried underground. It would be better if they removed it already.

I visited the local history museum, where I learned that the city used to be called Bogorodsk, and before that Rogozha. And this area has been known for a long time, since the fourteenth century. The museum displays letters and photographs of people who went to the front during the Second World War. I looked at these letters and photographs with captions (approx. Elena Petrovna, on the right, killed “back then”) and cried. I can imagine what it was like for the Noginsk residents back then. This is such a wound.

Delicious ice cream is produced in Noginsk. I advise you to try it. You can even go on a tour of the cold storage plant if you're interested.

The city is very beautiful in the center. I know there are parks somewhere, but I haven't been to them. Around the edges the city is very ordinary, but I still recommend visiting it to unwind.

I had a chance to visit this criminal town and regretted it

One day, while waiting for an acquaintance at the Noginsk railway station, two people attacked me and tried to rob me, but they didn’t succeed because I fought back. The city is dirty, the roads are broken, the people are angry. The environment is in a depressing situation, in general it’s something like this for now.

Life in Noginsk is the same as life in all cities, where city-forming enterprises, factories, and factories have practically “died”, well, it’s better, because it’s closer to Moscow. A lot of public catering (where the owners are mostly people of Caucasian nationality), chain stores, wholesale depots, that’s basically where you can find work, the same bureaucratic bribes, the same bureaucratic red tape to resolve any issues, the average salary is 12-18 thousand. The city is nice, clean, but otherwise, like everywhere else, like everyone else, everything is the same, everything is the same...

My colleagues and I were in Noginsk 3 years ago. The compact city surprised with its unique Fountain Square, which is comparable even to the famous Peterhof attractions.

The fountains of Noginsk are an amazing sight. Forged urns, bridges, flowerpots and benches, flowers form a single ensemble. This is a vacation spot for city residents. Even a flock of pigeons has settled here.

During the day, gentle music caresses the ear, and at night, streams of water turn different colors to the rhythm of the music, becoming the dancing fountains of Noginsk.

Opposite Vokzalnaya Square there is a memorial and chapel in memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War on the city's Victory Square. The head of the Noginsk district, Vladimir Laptev, spoke not only about the history of the city, but also the creation of this holy place, including a monument to former prisoners of German concentration camps.

Not all residents have an unambiguous attitude towards the fountain complex. Some believe that their maintenance requires significant funds from the treasury. There is also no consensus among the population - whether to leave the city the name Noginsk, or return the former Bogorodsk, which was given on October 5, 1781 by Empress Catherine II. Grateful residents and patrons of the arts erected a monument to this royal person.

Next to the monument there is a local history museum. The exhibition features unusual collections of artifacts. These are products of decorative and applied art, archaeological and natural science collections, as well as a rich collection of documentary and photo materials on the history of the Noginsk region. A separate room is dedicated to the history of the 209th Bogorodsky Infantry Regiment, which played a significant role in the First World War. About a thousand soldiers of this military unit fell on the battlefield. But the number of Noginsk residents killed in the First World War is much higher. And yet, in the city it is planned to erect a monument specifically to the soldiers of the Bogorodsky 209th Infantry Regiment.

We visited one of the parks in the Moscow region - this time in Noginsk. In addition to the attractions, there is an alley of fairy tales. On the ground and trees, familiar fairy tale and cartoon characters come to life.

Legends of Noginsk: Catherine the Great, hero of the war of 1812 and Pushkin

Material prepared by Noginsk IA>>

Noginsk, located near Moscow, has a rich history. More than 600 years ago it was a small village of Rogozhi with a yam yard. In the 18th century, Catherine II visited it, thanks to her the village turned into the county town of Bogorodsk, which became famous for its textile production. A correspondent for the Noginsk news agency studied local legends and found out where the name of the settlement came from, what Alexander Pushkin did there, and what events took place here during the Patriotic War of 1812.

Information about Noginsk-Bogorodsk is found in many ancient documents. For example, in the spiritual charter of Dmitry Donskoy from 1389, the village of Rogozhi, which is located on the Rogozhka River, is mentioned. The history of the Moscow region city began with this settlement.

According to archaeological excavations, the village of Rogozhi arose during the time of the first Slavic settlements at the end of the 13th - beginning of the 14th century.

There are several versions of the origin of the names of the village and the river on which it stands. One of them connects the toponym with the cattail plant, which grew everywhere here. It is often confused with reeds, another representative of the flora that grows in wetlands, on the banks of rivers and lakes. Another assumption is that the name of the village comes from the coarse bast cloth matting, which was made in these places.

The village of Rogozhi was lucky: it was on an important economic highway - the Vladimir Road. Horses were changed here. Carts with furs, fish, bread and other goods moved through the village from Moscow to Vladimir and back, thanks to which trade actively developed there.

At the beginning of the 16th century, the Yamskaya Sloboda appeared here, and the village was renamed Old Rogozhsky Yam. The so-called “Yamskaya chase” began in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod. In 1646, coachmen and their families owned 44 of the 50 households in the village of Stary Rogozhsky Yam. By the way, the first postal station on the Vladimirskaya road appeared in Yamskaya Sloboda.

However, the Yam craft gradually fell into decline and was replaced by various crafts. During this period, handicrafts appeared in the village, papermaking and silk weaving began to develop, and small factories producing silk fabrics arose.

In 1773, in the village of Stary Rogozhsky Yam there were 54 weaving mills.

The village was inhabited by merchants, townspeople, commoners, coachmen, and clergy. The population grew and by 1781 there were 561 people. It was this year that became a turning point in the history of Old Rogozhsky Yam. Empress Catherine II came to the village and renamed it the district town of Bogorodsk. With its formation, the textile industry appeared within the Moscow province.

"God-Born Land"

The most popular legend, well known to the residents of modern Noginsk, is the legend about the origin of the name Bogorodsk. It says that once Catherine the Great visited the estates of the great Moscow princes and ended up in the territory of the present Noginsk region. Suddenly a terrible thunderstorm broke out - the heavens cast lightning and streams of water onto the earth. The Empress began to pray, calling on the Mother of God for salvation. And the storm stopped, and the bright sun came out from behind the clouds. Catherine exclaimed: “God-born land!”

It is unknown whether this actually happened. However, it was Catherine the Great who in 1781, by her decree, transformed the village of Stary Rogozhsky Yam into the district town of Bogorodsk in connection with the administrative reform that was then being carried out.

Paying tribute to this important event, in 2006 - for the 225th anniversary of the city of Bogorodsk - a column with a sculpture of Catherine II was erected in the center of Noginsk in the picturesque Bugrova Square. Interestingly, the monument is clearly visible from the street with the historical name Rogozhskaya.

Another legend says that the name of the city of Bogorodsk and the entire Bogorodsky district was given according to the date of its formation on the Feast of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.

There is also an assumption that the city got its name thanks to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which is located not far from it.

The city received its current name in honor of the Soviet politician and revolutionary Viktor Nogin in 1930 by decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee. In the 2000s, the Council of Deputies of the Noginsk District decided several times to return the historical name Bogorodsk, but for various reasons this was postponed.

People's hero

Many legends are associated with the name of the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, leader of the partisan detachment Gerasim Matveevich Kurin. Perhaps the people could embellish real events and exaggerate the exploits of their fellow countryman, but historical facts confirm his heroism.

During the War of 1812, peasant Gerasim Kurin led one of the largest peasant partisan detachments that went into the forests to resist Napoleon's army and wage war behind enemy lines.

At the beginning of hostilities, Kurin's detachment numbered 200 people, but soon its number increased to 5,300 foot and 500 mounted partisans. They fought with the French and captured convoys with weapons and food.

Historical materials contain interesting facts about the struggle of partisans in the rear of Napoleonic troops, including about Kurin’s detachment. For example, from September 23 to October 2, 1812, he participated in clashes with the French seven times. In one of the battles, poorly armed peasants got a real treasure: almost two hundred rifles and pistols and 400 cartridge bags.

Another striking episode of the war was the seizure of a grain train. The French Marshal Ney was enraged by the insolence of the partisans and sent two squadrons of dragoons in his rear “to stop the outrages.” They were defeated, and a significant part of the cavalrymen were captured.

© Photo, website of the Naro-Fominsk district administration

After several successful raids, the detachment became so strong that Kurin decided to attack Bogorodsk, occupied by the French. But by that time Marshal Ney had already received an order to retreat to Moscow. Kurin missed him by only a few hours.

Popular rumor claimed that Kurin's detachment reached 8 thousand people. He destroyed 5 thousand French soldiers. Kutuzov himself twice summoned Kurin to Moscow and personally awarded him the St. George Cross and the medal “For Bravery.”

Historians say that Gerasim Kurin was not only awarded high awards, but also received a colossal cash payment - 5 thousand rubles in banknotes.

After the war, Gerasim Matveevich was appointed head of the Vokhona volost and, having lived until he was 73 years old, died in his native village of Vokhna. His descendants still live in Uspensk to this day.

Bogorodsk residents carefully preserve the memory of the legendary countryman. It is quite possible that Kurin’s name and feat will soon be immortalized in a monument. This idea was put forward at one of the last meetings by the people's representatives of the Council of Deputies of the Noginsk Municipal District.

On the stele in honor of Catherine the Great in Noginsk are carved the names of the glorious Russian entrepreneurs Morozovs, Elagins, Shibaevs, Zotovs, Brunovs, who contributed to the rapid development of industry in the Bogorodsky district and the growth of the city of Bogorodsk.

“In 1856 Z.S. Morozov established a joint stock company, which became one of the largest textile enterprises in Russia. Textile factories mainly produced cotton, silk, and woolen fabrics,” says the materials of “Bogorodskoe Local History.”

According to legend, Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin was passing through Bogorodskaya land when his carriage broke down on the way to Moscow. The poet spent several days in the hut of a local weaver, working on poetry.

According to materials from local historians, by the end of December 1885, a 15-verst railway line was built through Bogorodsk. It connected the city with the station in Fryazevo of the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod Railway.

In the village of Voskresenskoye near Noginsk, one of the best surviving monuments of wooden architecture in the Moscow region has been preserved - the Ascension Church, built in the times of Peter the Great, in 1705. Here in 1833, at the expense of parishioners, an elegant Church of the Intercession of the Virgin Mary was erected.

Famous and interesting architectural monuments are the Berlyukovskaya Hermitage, the Assumption Stromynsky Monastery with the preserved chapel over the grave of St. Savva Stromynsky, the Epiphany Cathedral and the Tikhvin Church.

The industrial revolution of the mid-19th century became a prerequisite for the construction of world-class buildings in Bogorodsk, brightly and expressively bearing the features of the Art Nouveau style.

Many buildings in Noginsk, built in the Art Nouveau style, are wonderful works of architecture. Among them are a women's gymnasium - school No. 2 named after Korolenko, the Novotkatskaya factory, a factory school - school No. 10, a pedagogical college and others.

A walk through the center of modern Noginsk with a tour of the city's local history museum will be an interesting adventure for history buffs.

Story

The territory of the present Noginsk region in the XIV-XVI centuries. was the patrimony of the Great Moscow Princes. The city grew from a small roadside village of Rogozhi, known as the Yamskaya Sloboda (yam - in the old days: a postal station where travelers changed horses). In the village there lived coachmen who carried out the pit race along the Vladimirsky tract.

The Rogozhsky pit was first mentioned in the spiritual letter of Dmitry Donskoy (1389).

The village stood on the great Vladimir road, which connected the capital with Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod. Constant communication with Moscow, a large number of passing merchants with goods contributed to the rapid economic growth of Rogozh and the development of crafts and handicrafts in it.

In 1506, the village had 38 courtyards with 92 monasteries. But a mention of the temple is found in scribe books that served for the census of populated and empty abandoned places of the Moscow state for 1628: “In the old Rogozhsky abandoned pit (the Yamskaya station was moved from Rogozh to Bunkovo) there is a temple in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the Drevyans (wooden), it is caged (cut down with a cage, that is, it has a rectangular shape), and in the temple there are images and books, and vestments, and on the bell tower there are bells and every church building of the world. At the church, on the church land in the yard, priest Miron Larionov, in the yard there is the church sexton Pronka Fedorov, in the cell there is a mallow maker, in the cell there is the sexton Bogdashko Kirillov, and six Bobylsky courtyards... Church land according to the charter of the Grand Duke Vasily Ivanovich of All Rus' from the summer of 1506, on in the same document, the signature of Grand Duke Ivan Vasilyevich for 1540 - a wasteland that was the village of Mishinskaya Chernaya across the Klyazma River, seven dessiatines of the priest's plowed fields, and ten dessiatines overgrown with forest (each dessiatine is equal to 1.09 hectares).

The land is mediocre, hay is 15 kopecks (10 kopecks are harvested from one dessiatine).” In 1646, the number of houses in the village increased to 44. In the watch books of the Patriarchate of the Kazan Order of 1680 it is written: “...the wooden church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker on the Old Rogozhsky pit, on the banks of the Klyazma River, on the Volodymyr high road. Priest Evdokim from Tiunskaya Izba serves at the church,

from semi-church income with sexton Vaska Frolov, the parishioners of that church said: local priest Andrei died in their parish church a year ago, let it be priest Evdokim.” At various times, at the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Rogozhi, the priests were Alexey Naumov (1697), Ivan Alekseev (1711-1726), deacon Vasily Frolov (1682), sextons Isai Prokofiev (1682), Yakov Ivanov (1715), Vasily Ivanov (1726), sexton Anton Yakovlev (1726)

During the reign of Empress Catherine II, administrative reform took place in Russia, and the village of Rogozhi was transformed into the district town of Bogorodsk. This is what is said in Her Imperial Majesty’s highest order to the Senate dated October 5, 1781: “To ensure the most convenient government, to deliver the nearest trial and punishment to the residents and to facilitate the fastest consideration of their petitions, the Commander-in-Chief in Moscow, Prince Dolgoruky-Crimean, at the end of the next 1782, open Bogorodsky district, as a result, rename the Yamskoye village of Rogozha to the city of Bogorodsk.”

In honor of such a great and joyful event, the first coat of arms of the city of Bogorodsk was created and approved in December 1781, compiled by King of Arms Volkov taking into account general heraldic rules. According to the established tradition for county towns, the coat of arms of the province, in this case Moscow, was placed in the upper part (on a red field, a mounted warrior strikes a snake with a spear). Popular rumor brought to us that Saint George, the defender and liberator of the Russian land, is depicted on a horse. The lower part of the coat of arms reflects the history of the city. On a golden background (a symbol of justice, kindness and generosity) a reel is depicted - the simplest device for manual unwinding. The choice of this instrument for the coat of arms is not accidental. By the time the coat of arms was created in Bogorodsky district, 70 of the 82 existing factories were silk. Ranking last in the province in terms of population, the district was among the first in the level of development of handicraft and small industry.

In the mid-19th century, new rules for drawing up coats of arms were approved. In early October 1881, new coats of arms of Moscow and twelve district towns of the Moscow province, including Bogorodsk, were approved. Now the provincial symbols are placed in the upper left corner of the shield, the rider is turned to the left, his spear is crowned with an eight-pointed cross, the serpent is transformed into a dragon. Thus, the warrior, the “rider,” turned into the mythical St. George the Victorious. These changes to the ancient emblem occurred under the influence of foreigners who came to serve in the Russian heraldic department, who did not understand Russian national symbols, but knew the legend about the feat of St. George, who freed Princess Aya from the evil dragon. Instead of a reel, six scarlet (red) empty rhombuses appeared in the golden field of the shield (an empty or through rhombus meant the crosshairs of the weft. A weaving shuttle passed through these holes). Such symbolism emphasized the pronounced textile nature of the industry of the Bogorodsky district, which by this time had become one of the most industrially developed in the Russian Empire. This coat of arms, created by King of Arms Kene, existed until 1917. There was also a third - the coat of arms of Noginsk, drawn by local artist B. Rombaum in Soviet times.

And now the ring is closed - the Meeting of representatives of the Noginsk region decided to restore the rights of the first coat of arms of Bogorodsk. Other attributes of city symbols have also been approved - a banner, a flag, standards, and signs of officials.

Let's return to the history of the church - during the transformation of the city it was renamed. According to archival data, in 1788 in the city of Bogorodsk there were: “a church in the name of the Epiphany (the former Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker), public places, a city school, wine and salt barns - all wooden. Houses: noble - 2, clergy and church servants - 5, raznochinsky - 5, merchant - 28, bourgeois - 9, yamsky - 7, brewery - 1, inhabitants - 306 men and 255 women. There were two fairs in the city - May 9 and December 6, at which peasants brought various food supplies, and merchants in the city traded small goods.”

In 1812, Napoleon attacked Russia and the Patriotic War began. On September 24, 1812, a 6,000-strong detachment of Marshal Ney, on the way from Moscow, occupied the city of Bogorodsk, turning it into its stronghold. Small groups of conquerors with carts set out from the city in different directions to collect provisions and fodder.

Looting and robberies began in the villages. The peasants, united, repelled the uninvited guests. The most daring of the peasant leaders was the Pavlovo Posad peasant Gerasim Kurin. With his squad, he daily participated in skirmishes with the enemy and always emerged victorious. Having cleared the Vokhonsky volost (now Pavlovo-Posad district) from the invaders, Kurin led his squad to Bogorodsk to drive the enemy out of this city, but did not find the French there. They had already left the city to join their main army, leaving desecrated and ruined churches in Bogorodsk. The historical archive of Moscow contains an interesting document, a copy of which you see above - a report from Simeon Timofeev - Archpriest of the Epiphany Church in Bogorodsk - addressed to Bishop Augustine of Dmitrov of the Moscow Metropolis, written on December 16, 1812. It says: “... while Your Eminence was passing through the city of Bogorodsk, I had the good fortune to receive your Archpastoral blessing to consecrate the Holy Temples in Bogorodsk that were devastated and cursed by the enemy...” As is clear from further records, the Church of the Epiphany with the chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was consecrated on December 6, 1812.

In connection with the ongoing administrative reform in 1781, by the personal Decree of Catherine II, the village of Rogozhi was transformed into the district town of Bogorodsk as part of the Moscow province. There were 56 houses in the city, in which 561 people lived. These were merchants, townspeople, commoners, coachmen, and clergy.

By the middle of the 19th century. The growth of the city was facilitated by the rapid development of industry. Factories are gaining momentum, and names that will glorify Russian entrepreneurship begin to sound: Morozovs, Elagins, Shibaevs, Zotovs, Brunovs. Textile factories mainly produced cotton, silk, and woolen fabrics.

The territory of Bogorodsky district significantly exceeded the current Noginsky district. It included Sergiev Posad, the village of Zuevo (now the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo), the village of Pavlovo (the city of Pavlovsky Posad), parts of Shchelkovsky and Ramensky districts, the current territory of the city of Elektrostal. Bogorodsky district was rich in monasteries, chapels, temples, and icons. One of the roads leading to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra ran through his lands. We have preserved one of the oldest surviving wooden churches in the Moscow region - Voznesenskaya in the village of Voskresensky, built in the times of Peter the Great (1705).

Architectural monuments are the Nikolaevskaya Hermitage, the Berlyukovskaya Hermitage (in the 19th century it was revived by Metropolitan Platon), the Assumption Stromynsky Monastery with the preserved chapel over the grave of St. Savva Stromynsky, the Epiphany Cathedral and the Tikhvin Church.

The city itself also has a unique architectural style. The industrial revolution of the middle of the last century became a prerequisite for the construction of world-class buildings in Bogorodsk, brightly and expressively bearing the features of the Art Nouveau style. Many of them are wonderful works of architecture in Russian art of the Silver Age. These are a women's gymnasium (school No. 9 named after Korolenko), the Novotkatskaya factory, a factory school (school No. 10), a real school (pedagogical school), a maternity hospital in Glukhov, New houses (barracks), etc.

In 1927, the Bogorodsky district arose. And in 1930, Bogorodsk was renamed Noginsk in honor of the revolutionary V.P. Nogina.
