The territory of the amusement park is decorated in the style of the scenery for the above-mentioned film. A huge gate allows tourists onto a wide road along which stretches the jungle, where terrible monsters live. In the lakes and ravines you can see wagons overturned by dinosaurs, which were used for the excursion of Alan Grant's group.
Dinosaurs, as is known from the plot of the film, escaped from their enclosures and began to live a free life, so that while walking along the paths, it is easy to stumble upon a monstrous tyrannosaurus, a ferocious velociraptor, a huge triceratops and many others. The dinosaur figures are made very realistically and are impressive in their size. Plus, the figures are mechanized, which adds a “live” effect.
Fans of Jurassic Park will appreciate the entertainment center created based on it. Before leaving, it’s worth taking a couple of photos with dinosaurs in the background, so that when you return home you can brag to your friends, saying, “I was in Jurassic Park and survived.”

Unique elements of urban development
Among ordinary buildings and residential resort buildings, structures stand out that have not only a remarkable view, but also a rich history.
Dzhubga dolmen
- Address: Kooperativnaya street.
The dolmen is one of the most famous and mysterious buildings in the village. It is an imposing structure made of massive stone slabs laid out in the shape of an enclosed courtyard or bowl. Scientists cannot determine the exact date of the appearance of the dolmen, but there are rumors that it was created in the 3rd century BC. The purpose of the structure is unclear, as is who built it.
There is an opinion that the dolmen was built by aliens from outer space. Allegedly, aliens created a stone reservoir with life-giving water, in which the ancestors of people were subsequently born. Despite the absurdity, this theory is quite popular, and most tourists visiting the dolmen are supporters of an alternative version of the origin of life on Earth.
Barracks
The modest-looking military barracks building has a rather peculiar history. This stone building was built in 1904 as a parochial school. After the revolution, the institution was transformed into an ordinary educational institution, and during the Great Patriotic War it housed a military hospital.
At the end of the war, the building was again occupied by a school, which operated until 1986. After a new educational institution was built in the village, military barracks were set up in the ancient building, which they still own today. The building is recognized as an architectural monument and historical heritage of the village.

The most unusual recreation center in Dzhubga is famous for its original architectural design - the guest house is divided into two parts by a lighthouse towering in its center. The lighthouse has a rectangular shape and ends with an observation deck that goes around a huge lantern.
At the base of the lighthouse is the main entrance to the hotel. Guests of the recreation center can visit the observation deck whenever they want. From this point there is a magnificent view of Dzhubga and the Black Sea.
Architectural highlights and monuments of Tuapse
Among all the interesting things that experienced travelers recommend to see in Tuapse, several buildings and monuments stand out. Their visit is included in any excursion program.
Bus station building
Address: st. Marshala Zhukova, 6. Bus station bus stop.
The bus station building is rightfully considered one of the architectural symbols of Tuapse. The picturesque mansion, built in 1913, immediately catches your eye. Its blue and white facade is richly decorated with carved elements, somewhat reminiscent of Arabic script. Above the large arched window of the central portal, two turrets rise, as if copied from illustrations to “1000 and One Nights”. The composition is completed by a small fountain “Lighthouse”, emitting geysers in a cozy park laid out in front of the building.
Singing fountain
Address: Morskoy Boulevard. Transport stop "GDK".
The newest of the four iconic Tuapse fountains, commissioned in the spring of 2012. According to modern urban planning fashion, it does not have a traditional bowl. The pool, with 200 vents emitting jets of water built into its bottom, is located below ground level. Therefore, to the delight of children and holidaymakers languishing in the summer heat, you can even walk between the geysers. The water emission control system allows you to change the height of the jets to the beat of the music, and thoughtful lighting helps create a magical extravaganza of myriads of sprays when darkness falls. By the way, the maximum height of the fountain geyser can reach 18 m.
Hill of heroes
Address: st. Poletaeva. Transport stop "GDK".
The grand opening of the memorial in honor of the defenders of Tuapse took place in the spring of 1965. The location for it was not chosen by chance. At the top of the hill dominating the central part of the city, during the Caucasian Wars there was a fort called Velyaminov. During the Second World War, anti-aircraft gunners fired at the enemy from here. The steps of a stone staircase-alley lined with evergreen trees lead to the memorial. The architectural complex of Gorki includes granite pylons on which the names of fallen heroes are extruded, a monument to anti-aircraft gunners, sculptures of a liberating soldier and a grieving mother, the torch of the Eternal Flame, and the Alexievsky Temple.
Obelisk to the Fighters for Soviet Power
Address: October Revolution Square. Transport stop "Marine Station".
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, a monument dedicated to the freedom fighters of the working people appeared in Tuapse. The height of the triangular obelisk, symbolizing a bayonet, is 21 m. The base of the pillar is decorated with high reliefs on revolutionary themes. The attitude of Tuapse residents towards monuments of the historical past can be set as an example for residents of many other cities. During the turbulent years of perestroika, the monument was not destroyed. Moreover, already in 2012, the square named after the revolution, where the obelisk stands, was decorated with additional illumination. In the evenings the composition looks excellent.
Sundial
Address: Morskoy Boulevard. Transport stop "Marine Station".
There are several interesting art objects on the Tuapse embankment, among which the Parus Sundial stands out. The background to their appearance in the city is very interesting. Initially, the installation was supposed to add to the list of Vyborg attractions. However, the project was implemented in Tuapse. Now, on a clear, sunny day, anyone can check their watch with a natural chronometer, the accuracy of which is guaranteed by the luminary.
Natural surroundings of the village of Dzhubga
Obligatory points of a sightseeing tour of Dzhubga are natural attractions located in the village itself and in the surrounding area.
Colonel Falls
- GPS coordinates: 44.396257, 38.671069.
Colonel's waterfalls are located on the Kamenistaya River, not far from the village of Polkovniche, which received its name in honor of Colonel Babich, whose camp stood at this place during the Caucasian War.
Waterfalls make their way through the gorge, framed by dense forest. There are nine streams in total, and each of them is different from the other. Here you can see a waterfall cascading down like a tent canopy. Another stream bends like a Greek nose with a hump. The largest waterfall falls from a height of 18 meters. The turbulent stream it forms runs along low rapids, breaking into smaller waterfalls.
You can get to Colonel Falls by car, but it is better to travel on foot along a forest path, so tourists can fully experience the spirit of nature and enjoy its beauty.
Mount Hedgehog
- Coordinates: 44.310030, 38.691340.
Mount Hedgehog is located on the coast. It got its name due to its funny shape, reminiscent of the back of a hedgehog. The tall trees look like thorns, and the rocky cape extending into the sea looks like the sharp-nosed muzzle of an animal.
Strictly speaking, this is not a mountain, but a hill 250 m high. At its foot there is a sandy bay, and sanatoriums are based on the slope. A hiking trail leads to the top of the hill. Climbing Yozhik, tourists will see a stunning panorama of the resort and the blue expanses of the sea.
Dzhubga River
- Coordinates: 44.315339, 38.703195.
The Dzhubga River gave the resort its name. It is not known exactly from which Adyghe expression the name “Dzhubga” came. Some believe that its source is the word “zhybgye” (wind), others are inclined to the word “zheg’up” (flat place). One way or another, both translations correspond to the description of the river: it flows on a plain exposed to strong winds.
The Dzhubga River is famous for its picturesque views. To fully appreciate its beauty, you should rent a rowing boat and take a quiet walk along the shores, surrounded by forest greenery. This is a good place for fishing and outdoor recreation.
Natural monument “Giant Oak”
- Address: d/o "Centrosoyuz".
On the right bank of the Dzhubga River, a great oak tree, whose age exceeds five centuries, spreads its crowns. Its height reaches 25 meters, and its trunk diameter is almost two meters. Despite its advanced age, the oak is in excellent condition.
The tree branches into two parts, its trunk is covered with a layer of green moss. Around the Giant Oak, young trees rustle with leaves, which seem small and skinny against its background. Since 2012, the Giant Oak has been protected by the state as a natural monument of historical, scientific, educational, cultural and aesthetic value.
Bigius waterfalls
These waterfalls were given 2 more names: Gebius and Tesheb. Nature placed the waterfalls near the villages of Bzhid and Teshebs, a 40-minute walk. Here begins the subtropical zone, which is characterized by lush vegetation and natural jungle. Cascades of water reach a height of 15 m.
The route for tourists follows a path with stairs on the mountain slopes and bridges at river crossing points. Along the way there will be a gazebo for relaxation, cafes and kebab shops.
Tour guides call this area the Mill Gap, which contains deposits of blue clay in the bed of a mountain stream. Tourists will not pass by a spring with water from a spring, but in the ponds they encounter they will go fishing with unpredictable prospects. Mount Hebius will provide viewing platforms for panoramic views.
Beach holiday in Dzhubga
As in any other resort village, beach tourism is well developed in Dzhubga. The coastline is mostly sandy, with rare small pebbles. The beaches are varied, but they have one thing in common - comfort, which, without a doubt, every tourist will appreciate.
Central Beach
- Coordinates: 44.309968, 38.698654.
The central beach is the best and most popular in the village. Its advantages include:
- clean sandy surface;
- safe entry into the sea;
- a large number of inflatable slides, trampolines, catamarans and zorbing;
- a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants;
- comfortable changing cabins.
The beach is ideal for couples vacationing with children. Animation shows are often held here for children.
The central beach is actively visited by residents of the village and tourists, which is why it is almost always crowded, especially during peak season. Finding a secluded place is possible only in the early morning.
Beach near Mount Hedgehog (Molchanova beach)
- Coordinates: 44.307848, 38.692554.
The sandy bay at the foot of Mount Hedgehog is loved by tourists. For a comfortable stay, there is everything you need: comfortable sun loungers, a gentle slope to the sea, a bottom without sharp stones, changing cabins, as well as volleyball courts and a cafe.
Unlike the central beach, there are never crowds here. The place is beautiful, secluded, and the Hedgehog’s back rising from the west protects swimmers from gusts of cold wind.
Camping "Sea Wave"
- Coordinates: 44.307828, 38.692863.
For tourists traveling “savages” in cars, there is an excellent campsite in Dzhubga, set up on the beach near Yozhik. This is one of the largest campsites in the Tuapse area.
Tourists stay in their own cars, in tents or in the open air around a fire. The local beach is covered with small pebbles. At the campsite, sun loungers and swimming equipment can be rented.
Blue Bay
- Coordinates: 44.319982, 38.654374.
Not far from Dzhubga there is a resort place called Blue Bay. This is a small village with picturesque views and a luxurious sandy beach. The unique landmark is surrounded on three sides by wooded hills, protecting it from the wind. There is a rental of sun loungers, jet skis and banana boats on the beach.
Wooden diving boards stretch from the shoreline. During the high season, Blue Bay is quite crowded, but it is still possible to find a secluded place. Very often, a beach holiday here is combined with walks in the forest. Ecological trails are laid on the hills and stretch along thickets of bushes and coniferous thickets.
