The small resort village of Kabardinka, located near Gelendzhik, has been known since Soviet times for its healing air, clear sea water and picturesque views. The tourist season here begins in May. As soon as the hot weather sets in, the village comes to life. Families with children, pensioners, and young people with tents come here. As in other regions of southern Russia, in Kabardinka the coastal zones are quite diverse: with large pebbles and small shell rocks, wild and developed ones, and even camping areas. In this post you will learn about holidays in the village of Kabardinka. Beaches (description and photos), as well as nearby attractions will be discussed in detail in today's material.
The most popular beaches on the Kabardinka coast:
- "Central",
- "Martin",
- bathing area of the Victoria boarding house,
- Swimming area of the Skala campsite.
Where to stay in Kabardinka and how much it costs
Sea in Kabardinka
My company and I usually arrived in Kabardinka early in the morning and left late in the evening, so the question of where to stay did not arise for us. Well, for those who want to stay in this beautiful place longer, it will be interesting to know that in Kabardinka there are a lot of guest houses, hotels, boarding houses, sanatoriums and recreation centers where you can stay with all the amenities.
Most of them are located close to the sea - the beach is no more than 15 minutes on foot. Guest houses offer vacationers comfortable rooms of varying capacity - from one to five people. The rooms are equipped with all amenities, air conditioning, TV, private bathroom with shower.
Economy class rooms in Kabardinka include a fan, one shower and toilet for several rooms. Courtyards are usually equipped with gazebos, barbecue grills, and sheds for drying clothes.
The cost of a room per day, depending on the distance to the beach, room class and season, ranges from 500 rubles to 2 thousand . Vacationers can enjoy numerous markets and shops. Prices, of course, are high, as at any resort, so we usually brought everything we needed with us. But even those who plan to stay here will not be ruined by these prices.
The best way to find accommodation options in Kabardinka, both economy class and luxury rooms, is on the hotel search page.

Beach of the Victoria boarding house
A stone's throw from the Victoria boarding house in Kabardinka you can find a wonderful place to relax in the shade of a juniper grove. The shore is covered with pebbles, the entrance to the water is quite flat. For families with small children this is a definite advantage.
How to get to Victoria
You can get here in just 15 minutes from the center of Kabardinka by minibus No. 31 along the Sukhumi highway. The stop you need is “Section 2”, from which you will have to walk about half a kilometer. You can also go from Novorossiysk by taking any bus going in this direction.
Is Victoria Beach crowded?
In the summer there are many vacationers, but there is enough space for everyone on the shore. In the middle of the day, finding a free sun lounger is problematic, so holidaymakers leave their things right on the rocks. By the end of the season it is not so crowded, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday on the coast.
What to visit near Victoria Beach
There are observation decks and waterfalls on the mountainside nearby. Despite the fact that it is quite a long walk, tourists visit these picturesque places. Many climb the Markhot ridge, where a bird's eye view of Kabardinka opens up.
Prices on Victoria Beach
Entrance here is available not only to boarding house guests, but also to everyone. On the coast there are:
- sun loungers,
- locker rooms,
- toilets,
- showers with fresh water.
There is a fee for using the sun lounger and toilet. The cost of renting a sun lounger for the day is 250 rubles. There is also a cafe where you can taste national cuisine. For lovers of underwater beauty, there is a diving center here.
Climate and holiday season in Kabardinka
The holiday season in Kabardinka lasts from late April to November. This duration is due to the very mild climate of the seaside village. itself lasts from mid-May to October ; in summer, sea water can warm up to 26 degrees.
Summer in Kabardinka is very warm, without rain, and lasts much longer than indicated in the calendar. Thanks to the proximity of the sea and mountains, juniper thickets and pine groves, the air here is truly healing - clean, saturated with natural essential oils.
It is very good to come here not only to relax, but also to improve your health, especially for people with heart disease or asthma.
Perhaps the only disadvantage of Kabardinka at the very peak of the holiday season is that there are quite a lot of vacationers here, but still less than in Anapa, Gelendzhik and other resort towns, where at the height of the season there is literally nowhere for an apple to fall.
Center of Kabardinka. Embankment
Beach "Swallow"
This part of the Black Sea coast is owned by the Lastochka sanatorium complex in Kabardinka, but not only guests of this establishment relax here. Tourists are attracted by the clean sea and healing air (pine and juniper trees grow here). “Swallow” is covered with pebbles, the entrance to the water is quite flat.
How to get to Lastochka
From the center of Kabardinka you need to walk along Revolutionary Street, turn left, and you will see a sanatorium, near which the desired section of the coast is located. If you don’t want to walk, you can call a taxi (the cost of a trip on Yandex.Taxi from Kabardinka to the sanatorium is 80 rubles), use public transport (any bus passing through the village).
Is Lastochka Beach crowded?
“Lastochka” in Kabardinka is densely occupied by tourists during the high season, but there is a place for everyone. There are especially many people here in the afternoon, but early in the morning you can find a free sun lounger.
What to visit near Lastochka beach
After relaxing by the sea, you can walk to an amusement park or look at the marine life in the aquarium. During the summer season, a dolphinarium is open here. All this is within walking distance from Lastochka.
Prices on Lastochka beach
The infrastructure allows vacationers to spend time here in comfort. Children won't get bored here either - there are rides and inflatable trampolines for them, and local cafes offer sweets and ice cream. There is no need to pay for entry, but renting a sun lounger costs 200 rubles. Use of the toilet - 20 rubles. Medical staff and rescuers monitor safety on the water.
Having studied the village of Kabardinka, the beach, and photos of the surrounding area, we can safely recommend this place for a vacation with the whole family. Healthy air, beautiful nature, a variety of entertainment and many boarding houses - this is what has attracted tourists to this resort for many years. If you are planning a vacation in the Krasnodar region and choose Kabardinka, you are guaranteed an excellent vacation.
Beach holiday in Kabardinka
The beaches in Kabardinka are mostly sandy and pebble. The pebbles are small and pleasant to walk on. Most of the beaches are well-maintained and belong to various recreation centers, camps, etc.
But there is also a beautiful “wild” beach, stretching along the M4 highway towards Novorossiysk. The pebble beach is separated from the highway by a high, steep bank; If you have one, you can leave your car at the top and go down the path.
Another wild beach in Kabardinka is located between the Nadezhda hotel and the Primorsky boarding house. This is a rather narrow beach covered with large pebbles. Its main advantage is that it is not crowded: mostly locals come here; most vacationers simply do not know about the existence of this beach.
Anyone can get to the beach of the Primorsky boarding house from the shore. But from the street of the world it is not so easy to get to it - it is supposed that it is intended only for vacationers in a boarding house. The beach is very comfortable, clean, there are very few people here.
The most beautiful beach in Kabardinka is undoubtedly Central. Its beauty is also created due to the perfectly equipped central embankment, from which you can go down directly to the beach along graceful staircases. There, vacationers have access to sun loungers, toilets, changing cabins, pleasure boats and a water amusement park.
Central beach in Kabardinka
Along the embankment there are many cafes, bars, and entertainment venues. Right on the beach you can rent pedalos, masks, fins, mattresses and other beach equipment. The beach is strewn with small pebbles, the bottom is also pebbly. And what else I would definitely like to point out is that the water there is amazingly clean and clear! The sea on this beach has an almost unrealistically clear, bluish-turquoise hue.
In total, there are about 20 beaches in Kabardinka with varying degrees of amenities. Almost all of them belong to boarding houses or children's camps, but entry to them is completely free, and everyone can get to them.
Central Beach
This is the main municipal beach area of Kabardinka, which stretches for 120 meters. Located in the very center of the embankment of the village of Kabardinka. The beach is landscaped. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay for tourists: sunbeds, awnings, restrooms, changing rooms, water activities for children and adults. There are medium pebbles underfoot, so it is recommended to use special shoes.
How to get to Central
You can walk from the Kabardinka bus station. Stick to the street. Mira. When you see the Prestige store, turn right and you will reach the sea. You can also travel by car from Gelendzhik along the M-4 highway in the direction of Novorossiysk or use one of the taxi services.
Is Central Beach crowded?
It is almost always crowded here, since the bulk of vacationers go here first. If there are no free seats or sun loungers, resort guests spread towels directly on the pebbles. If you come here early in the morning, you will not only avoid the heat, but also have the opportunity to sit comfortably on a sun lounger.
What to visit near Central
The LunaPark amusement park is a great place to while away an evening with children, delighting them with ice cream and cotton candy. Within walking distance is the Monument to the Vacationer - a small art object beloved by tourists. In addition, you can take a promenade along the embankment and admire the panorama of the Black Sea.
Prices at Central
Entry here is free. Renting a sun lounger costs about 200 rubles. You can ride a banana boat for 250 rubles per person. There are also many cafes of different price categories that are ready to deliciously feed hungry adults and children. Tourists are offered a full hot lunch and light snacks.
Where to go and where to have fun in Kabardinka
old park
One of the main attractions of Kabardinka is, of course, the Old Park. This amazing place represents an extraordinary juxtaposition of eras, cultures, history and mythology, surrounded by wildlife. Here you can find miniature copies of Egyptian pyramids and a medieval watchtower (which, by the way, offers a beautiful view), an Orthodox temple and a Shinto chapel, beautiful sculptures and even the Time Stone, on which you can take unbreakable vows.
In the Old Park of Kabardinka
This is the only architectural theme park in Russia. In the depths of the Old Park there is an art gallery where exhibitions of Kuban artists are held.
A holiday in Kabardinka without visiting the Old Park does not count!
In winter, the Old Park is open to visitors from 9:00 to 18:00, in summer - from 8:00 to 22:00.
Bringing Down the House
Another attraction of the village is the so-called “Upside Down House” . From the outside it seems that it barely rests on the ridge of its roof - touch it with your finger and it will topple over! Inside, everything is also turned upside down - visitors walk on the ceiling, and overturned tables, refrigerators, armchairs, sofas hang over their heads... A very fascinating sight, but if you are not used to it, you can lose orientation in space and feel slightly dizzy. Before entering, all visitors are asked to take off their shoes so as not to stain the floor... or is it the ceiling?
You can tour this unusual house every day from 10:00 to 21:30. An adult ticket costs 200 rubles, a child ticket costs 150. Children under 5 years old can enter for free.
Beach of camping "Skala"
If you prefer relaxation among wild nature, then Kabardinka is suitable for you. Photos of the village and the beach of the Skala camping site will certainly appeal to lovers of natural landscapes. These extremely beautiful places have practically no analogues in the south of Russia.
How to get to camping "Skala"
The campsite is located on Cape Doob. Usually people come here by private car. If you specify the coordinates of the place, the navigator will take you to the desired location. It is necessary to travel outside the village of Kabardinka. The sign is not visible from the road, you will have to go down to the sea - there will be a barrier and a sign.
Is the beach at Skala camping crowded?
It's not crowded here. There is always space available, especially at the beginning and end of the season. You are provided with comfortable sunbathing, relaxing on the shore and swimming in the sea, regardless of whether you rent housing or decide to stay in the beach area of the complex.
What to visit near the Skala camping
The area itself is so picturesque that it can be classified as a natural attraction. But there is one interesting place that camping guests regularly visit - the bulk carrier Rio, which ran aground back in 2022.
Prices on the beach of the Skala camping
You can stay here for a few days by renting a tent, or you can spend just a few hours on the territory of this section of the coast intended for beach holidays. In both cases you will have to pay. A one-time visit costs 200 rubles. per person. Renting a safari tent for a day will cost 5,000 rubles. The descent from the cape to the sea is quite steep, so the campsite staff laid special paths for the convenience of tourists. Toilet, changing room, shower, cafe, parking spaces - it’s all there.
How to get to Kabardinka
- By plane to Gelendzhik. It is 15 km from Gelendzhik to Kabardinka by bus or taxi.
Where departure date Return date Find tickets Moscow February 15, 2022 February 17, 2022 Tickets from 4,102 Saint Petersburg October 1, 2022 October 6, 2022 Tickets from 5,180 Novosibirsk May 19, 2022 May 22, 2022 Tickets from 11,384 Naberezhnye Chelny (Nizhnekamsk) June 20, 2022 June 26, 2022 Tickets from 12,037 - By train to Novorossiysk. Travel from Novorossiysk to Kabardinka a distance of 21 km by bus or taxi. Train schedule Moscow - Novorossiysk, Ekaterinburg - Novorossiysk and buy tickets online.
If you like bright colors of relaxation, then go on a trip to the Kabardinka resort. Kabardinka is a resort of youth, lightness, music of relaxation and flight of the soul.
Description of the coast
The length of the beach in the village of Kabardinka is at least 200 meters, and the width of the area in some places reaches 25 meters. The surface consists of medium-sized pebbles, mixed with sand here and there. The beach area is comfortably located on the Black Sea shore between Kabardinka and the city of Novorossiysk. The location is a section of the bay.
The northern side of the beach consists of piers where fishing boats and excursion yachts moor. On the south side the bay is adjacent to the mouth of the Dobb River. To save from storm waves, special breakwaters have been installed. This device saves the shore from blurring and allows you to feel safe, even in severe bad weather. The entry into sea water is pleasant, moderate and does not contain dangerous sharp stones.
Advice! The depth begins quickly after entering the water, so parents should not let their children frolic on the shore alone.
The sea deserves special attention. Its appearance is similar to azure, and its picturesqueness is amazing.
The beach is public, and the infrastructure includes:
- Various types of attractions for both adults and young visitors.
- Water entertainment in the form of high-speed transport.
- Showers and public toilets.
- Beach umbrellas and sun loungers.
- Protective canopies from the sun.
- Observation tower with rescuers.
- Medical center and adjacent pavilion with massage services.
Local employees vigilantly monitor the cleanliness of the beach and constantly remove trash from vacationers. For convenience, there are a large number of trash cans installed throughout.

Good afternoon to everyone who is looking for a place for a long-awaited vacation!
Online from Kabardinka 08/01/2019. No more kicking!!! Very narrow beach, full of sun loungers, pay 150₽ per hour!!! We moved the sunbed and laid our own. The beach administration made a scandal for us. To my question: On what basis are you forcing me to pay for a place on a free beach in the Russian Federation, they did not have an answer other than: “If you don’t have money, why did you come at all”... like that.
Disgusting place to stay.
And, by the way, due to overpopulation, intestinal infection is raging with might and main. Three days of vacation in bed, together with my little daughter.
A cafe where you can eat a lot. But.
Most of them are completely unsanitary!
Flies sit brazenly on open food and plates, which they then pour into. In general, to eat, you still need to find a place that you don’t want to run away from.
There are practically no sidewalks for pedestrians. People and cars were mixed on the main street of the World, leading to the sea.
Local traders in tents are not polite. Questions regarding their own product are answered reluctantly and irritably.
Plus: mountains, clear sea. But such nature can be found in more comfortable places.
Plus: our guest house Prague (Partizanska str. 58A). If it weren’t for our beautiful and cozy home, with hospitable hosts, the vacation experience would have been a 100% failure. Thank you, Svetlana, Vasily and Natalya!
But, I want to make a reservation, it’s a long way from us to the sea. Although, I read the reviews, people wrote that it was not far. My 4-year-old daughter and I were forced to take a taxi to the beach and back. The child won’t make it, and it will drive you crazy to cover such a distance in the heat (25 minutes). Who cares, of course. Not acceptable for me.
Taxi is also a separate issue. There are few cars. It's a long wait. Taxi drivers are often not local, they don’t know the roads well, they ask passengers (for some reason the navigator does not correctly identify local roads, and often winds in the wrong direction).
Jeeping, an old park and a boat trip are planned ahead. I’ll add my impressions of the entertainment.

Well, I don’t know who managed to spend their honeymoon in this Kabardinka, but I won’t set foot there again! In general, before choosing a holiday destination this year, I was tormented by vague doubts about Kabardinka, but my daughter insisted. He says: “My classmates vacationed there, they said it was great!” She believed it, so to speak, on her own head!
Let's start with the beach. It is something! People are lying on top of each other, there is nowhere for an apple to fall. But for the kids, so to speak, who are relaxing at the camp, half of the beach is allocated - for 10 people. And this beach is closed at 9.00 until the kids have had their fill, so to speak, and then they open it in the middle of nowhere. And then it was already at the very end, people probably started to complain. Same story in the evening!
There is a beach nearby, across the pier, all covered with paid sun loungers, and in the sea there is a technical area! The swimming area is a narrow path, because there is also a designated area nearby for non-swimmers. In short, if you swim further than the buoys, they shout at you to come back!
The sea itself is cold and dirty! You will sail a little further, it will be cleaner and warmer, because the currents pass below, but you can’t go there, they will return you! So flop around in the mud near the shore and enjoy life, so to speak!
The prices for everything are incredible! Here in the North you can even buy fruit cheaper than there! Watermelon - 50 rubles kg, corn - 50 rubles. cob, etc. You go south to stock up on vitamins, but as a result you come home and eat fruit at home.
Wine is rubbish! If you only take the brand name, everything else is either compote, or you won’t get your head up in the morning even with a small dose. They say that they have it all in powder form.
Of course there is a lot of entertainment! There is somewhere to hang out, but that’s all. This is why I give it a 1 (one). Otherwise, I don’t advise anyone to go there + the acclimatization there is also terrible! Everyone is suffering, right up to the emergency room. So if, despite my truthful review, you still decide to go, good luck! So you are crazy!

Good afternoon We recently returned from Kabardinka, we were there for 12 days with my son from June 13 to June 25, 2022. Kabardinka pleasantly surprised me: everywhere is clean, there is a lot of entertainment, a beautiful, large embankment, there are catering establishments everywhere. We stayed at the Sofia guest house on the street. Pionerskaya, 13a. We liked the guest house. Clean and comfortable. Very good hosts. Large kitchen where you can cook yourself, lots of dishes, refrigerators. There is a refrigerator in each room, but many guests leave food in the shared refrigerators in the kitchen. We took ours to our room. The rooms are very clean, have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, a dressing table - everything you need. The view from our balcony was amazing, although for this view we had to go up to the 4th floor, but the view is worth it. It didn't bother us)). We always ate on the balcony, admiring the gorgeous view of the sea and mountains.
We always had breakfast in the room, lunch in the dining rooms, and dinner as needed. For lunch we chose the “Under the Tent” dining room on the embankment, not far from the central beach. All the food there is delicious, varied menu, large portions, good prices. We also ate in the USSR canteen. The menu there is varied, but the portions are small, the mashed potatoes are generally smeared on the plate, and what I didn’t like most of all is that you eat there from plastic dishes!!!
We liked swimming most at the Kirovets beach, there are fewer people there and the water is clean. The only minus of the beaches of Kabardinka, like all of ours, is that the entire beach is deliberately filled with plastic sun loungers so that people, out of despair, pay 150 rubles for them. I give you advice: there are no private or rented beaches in Russia!!! The coastal strip of any body of water 20 m wide from the water is the property of the state and its residents, i.e. you and me. So feel free to remove the sun loungers and lay your towels on the pebbles. The sunbeds there are illegal! I did just that, and only if they dared to say anything to me.
The nightlife in Kabardinka is simply vibrant. There are many night cafes with music playing, trying to outshout the neighbors))). The most popular establishment is probably “Chaika” on the embankment. A large pompous building, everything is in lights, but there is a disco on the street. What I didn’t like there was that almost all the music was custom-made, and that’s not always good. I also didn’t see a single security guard there, although in such an establishment his presence is very desirable.
Visited the Space nightclub. I went there after reading positive reviews and was looking forward to having a great time. But..... Firstly, a nightclub is too strong a word. It is located in the basement, the dance floor is small, you can easily reach the ceiling with your hands, and a tall man will touch the lighting fixtures with his head. The waiters are completely indistinguishable from the visitors, no badges or uniforms! I wanted to order a cocktail at the bar, I stood at the counter for 5 minutes, looked at the bartender who was staring at the phone on the opposite wall, but I never received his attention (((, I was left without a cocktail. But that’s all right, you can close your eyes to that. But what struck me most was that smoking is allowed in the hall!!! This is a nightmare, I don’t remember such smoke from the 90s, you just choke on the smoke, because most likely there is no exhaust hood. In short, this is not a modern nightlife club, but rather a disco from the 90s. The only thing I liked there was the music, that’s the only thing it resembles a modern nightclub. I couldn’t breathe there and had to leave. The mood and the evening were ruined. In the morning I wrote angry review on their VKontakte page, so they quickly deleted it and blocked me))). This is the “night club” Space in Kabardinka. It is located on the alley leading to the central beach.
I really liked Kabardinka, if you like to relax in your homeland, then go, you won’t regret it.

Hello) sorry, but nothing yet. Movement restrictions have not yet been lifted around the region. If the situation changes in early June, please contact us. So far, movement around the region, even local ones, is limited by the municipality, only within the city of residence.

Advantages:
The air is clean next to the mountains and there is a beautiful view where you can take pictures.
Flaws:
The sea is dirty, where the wild beach is very shallow, accommodation is very undeservedly expensive, there is nowhere to go on excursions
Just shocked by this place! I was thinking about where to go so as not to spend too much money and have more rest. As a result, the sea is dirty because there are so many people. The beach is very small (even wild), the bottom is not cleared of stones, you can’t go into the water even with shoes. Simply a nightmare. I have never had such a bad vacation anywhere. There is nowhere to sit on the beach, as if in Sochi in the 70s, one is swimming and holding other things. Prices in the private sector are no different from a hotel room: 1000 rubles per person, and this is about half an hour’s walk from the sea. Entertainment is apparently expensive too, so they were empty. Ride in a children's car for 10 minutes, 250 rubles. For entertainment: I went on a yacht on the open sea, for about three hours the cost for 2 people was 1,500 rubles. Canteens are inexpensive, like everywhere else. There are wild beaches, but you can’t swim there; very shallow; very sharp stones; my stomach was badly scratched. Be careful. In short, I don’t recommend it under any circumstances.

Flaws:
no and cannot be
Kabardinka, this is the homeland of my childhood. Every year I return there again and again. From 2005 to this year, I traditionally spend July-August in Kabardinka. I work there as a counselor in one of the children's camps. What can I say about rest? This is the pearl of the Black Sea coast of the North Caucasus, I’m not even afraid to say it. This is true. Every year, year after year, I discover more and more new beauties here. The prices here are decent. Accommodation can be rented from 1000 rubles per day, sometimes even cheaper. Recreation and entertainment are available here. There is the Old Park, the Kastalskaya font, the Lighthouse, with which the tragic story of the death of the ship Admiral Nakhimov is connected. How much does a hike or trip to the mountains cost? If you want to feel like a madman, then climb Mount Madness yourself, to the very top, and if you go a little further than this mountain, you will stumble upon an amazing raccoon, ending up in the Magic Forest. Go a little further and you will find yourself in a bathhouse, next to which there is a mountain lake. The bathhouse costs 70 rubles. It’s a real thrill to run out and splash into this lake after this steam room. The lake has azure water color. It is inhabited by massage fish. There are also many cafes in Kabardinka. Here are some of them: Chaika, this is the most famous cafe, at night it turns into a dance floor with live music. Cafe Maria is a little calmer than Chaika, Cafe Breeze is opposite, the quietest, but also the most expensive. Cafe Odyssey - the cheapest prices and also live music. If you like to dance, then the following clubs are for you: Space, Malibu-foam show, Corsair, Gribok, Cool. Entrance prices - cool - 250 for men, free for girls, Malibu - 200. Fungus - free. For sushi lovers, the Helios cafe-bar is right for you, it’s right next to Space. Sushi costs the same as in Moscow. From the local cuisine, I advise everyone to try Gyros - this is Greek cuisine. Why Greek? The population of Kabardinka is mainly Pantic Greeks. For coffee, be sure to try Frape. Cafe Wines of Kuban - buy wines, they are tasty, but a little expensive, if you want to find similar ones cheaper, then go to the USSR, it is located near the bus stop. Beaches. I admit right away that the best one is Kirovets beach. This is a children's beach equipped with everything necessary for relaxation. There is a water slide - the only one in Kabardinka, hydro massage. The price of sun loungers is 100 rubles. If you want a great tan or are a nudist, then go to the beach towards Mayak. But be careful, there are just huge stones in the water, in fact, this is a problem everywhere in Kabardinka. There are no stones only on Kirovsky Beach. The sea here is clean, the clearest in the direction of the sunken ship, this is behind the signal and towards the lighthouse. Be careful. There are sharp stones (Cement stone) on all beaches and in the water; if you cut yourself, it will take a very long time to heal. Be careful when jumping from the pier, there are large stones in the water at the bottom. In my presence, more than once, people simply floated out with beaten faces. Dolphins are often found in the sea, and they swim almost to the shore. For thrill-seekers there are boat trips, catamarans, parachute, banana, tablet, water scooter. All this costs several times cheaper than in Gelendzhik. There is also a Luna Park on the territory - it’s cool there. There is a lot of children's entertainment for children; the doors of children's camps are always open, of which there are a lot. Magnit and Crossroads are especially popular grocery stores. The market is also popular, where you can buy all sorts of goodies, fruits, chacha and much more. Wool clothing is especially popular there. By the way, it costs several times less. The old park is a unique place in its beauty. There are small copies of famous buildings of the world there; the Temple of Zeus and the Pyramid of Cheops are especially beautiful. There is a cafe on site with inexpensive prices. There is also a souvenir shop, but it is expensive. There are similar souvenirs on the embankment much cheaper than here. You get some extraordinary photos here. The Kastalskaya font is a place for fishing lovers. There are a lot of trout there. They will prepare it for you there. There are no particular problems with transport in Kabardinka. Buses run regularly, although to Novorossiysk, buy a bus ticket in advance, and to Gelendzhik, just get on the bus and give 30 rubles to the driver. 20 minutes and you are in Gelendzhik. The climate in Kabardinka is very peculiar. July-August are very stuffy months. You walk around wet, it’s so stuffy. Sometimes there is a mountain wind, the Nord-Ost, which is very cool, and it happens especially often in August. July is the hottest month. The sea water is usually very warm. I can share my impressions forever. Next year I will return to Kabardinka again

A lot of people. At ten in the morning there is no place on the beach yes
I vacationed in Kabardinka in August 2016. This is just a nightmare!!! The village is clean, beautiful, I won’t say anything, but the sea is something. Swimming was prohibited for three days in a row due to sewage being released into the sea. The entire surface of the water was covered in feces. We went swimming in Gelendzhik. I do not advise anyone to go there!!!

Advantages:
-Good weather -Lots of entertainment that makes it impossible to get bored or sit idle
Flaws:

This is a small tourist village, located close to the Black Sea. If you want to relax, attend intense excursions and improve your health, then you need to go to Kabardinka. The weather here is very warm, in any season the weather can please you and you can be there from April-May to October (approximately). It is best to go to September, because many families can leave because of school (unless you have planned to rest with your child for several days during school and it is best to negotiate this with the director in advance). In summer, life at the resort is in full swing. Gentle sun, excursions, beaches. The healing air and unique landscapes can lift the most inveterate pessimist out of depression. Kabardinka has long been famous as a resort for children and youth, because there are still boarding houses, children's camps and recreation centers in this village. Today in this village you can find any entertainment you like: restaurants, attractions, trout hunting, boat trips, diving.

We vacationed with two families with children in Kabardinka in the first half of August 2022.
Why Kabardinka?
In 2016, my husband and friends vacationed on the right side of our south in the village of Lazarevskoye (a separate review about it). This year I wanted to visit a different climate, on the left side of Dzhubga. At first we considered the option of a holiday in Gelendzhik, but after reading numerous reviews about it, we changed our minds because we were afraid of infection in the dirty water of the bay and the resulting intestinal diseases that affect both children and adults. Gelendzhik attracted us with its beautiful embankment and the movement of a relatively large resort town; we wanted a town similar in characteristics to it, namely:
1. party and action on the embankment
2. beauty and length of the embankment
3. housing availability
4. not expensive food
5. abundance of excursions and beautiful places
After I rejected the idea of Gelendzhik (due to infections), I finally settled on Kabardinka. It meets almost all my criteria (with the exception of the cheapness of food, the average bill for lunch in a canteen on the embankment for two is 350 - 400 rubles, when in Lazarevsky in 2016 in the canteen on the embankment we ate for 200 - 250 rubles for two).
Beaches, sea and promenade
The beaches are quite wide, there is no railway here, so if you want to come by train, you need to go to Novorossiysk, and from there to Kabandinka by bus, it’s not far, literally about 20 minutes. The sea is clean, despite the beaches crowded with people. The beach at the children's camp has a very bad entrance to the sea. There is rock at the bottom, like a big long stone, it is very slippery, and if you step on it, you can slip and fall into the water, so you need to be careful. On the beach, which is closer to Gelendzhik, the water is dirty, as small pleasure boats depart from the breakwater there. We swam on the right side of the city, there are no ships there and there is a good entry into the sea.
The embankment is very long and beautiful. Very similar to the embankment of Gelendzhik. There are several fountains, the Eiffel Tower, beautiful benches, attractions, cafes, restaurants, music. In the evening everything is illuminated and the lights give a feeling of celebration. Local police patrol the embankment and immediately remove drunks. So it’s quite calm to walk in the evening. For children, there are little towns, trampolines and attractions on the embankment.
Climate
The climate is dry (much drier than in Lazarevskoye), laundry dries quickly. It was hot, 30-40 degrees, the sea was not cold, as vacationers in other cities complained literally 2 weeks ago. The sea is not blooming. There was no rain, there was good clear weather.
Infrastructure
We saw only 2 magnets in the city, one of which you couldn’t squeeze through. The level of service in the store is poor, there are goods on the shelves without price tags, there is rottenness in the fruits and vegetables, and the freezers also stink. I really didn't like the magnet.
There are also not many ATMs. Next to this magnet (the intersection of Mira and Revolyutsionnaya streets) there is a Sberbank. There are 5 ATMs next to it, of which either 1 or 2-3 were working. The queues there are huge and it’s very hot to stand there. You couldn’t shake the feeling that if you stood in line for 20 minutes, you’d run out of money.
There was no smell of sewer anywhere. There were no interruptions in electricity or water.
Housing
Housing prices are prohibitive! Closer to the sea, prices range from 2000 to 7000 per day for a 2-bed room. We lived on Kornitsky Street (I can give you more details in a private message). We were 2 families on vacation. My husband and I have a family with two children, 2 and 5 years old.
We had a double room on the second floor with air conditioning, TV and refrigerator, and a double bed. Facilities on the floor for 4 rooms, there was also a common balcony with a clothes dryer and two tables and chairs. Our room cost only 1500 rubles. in a day. The neighbors were normal and not noisy. The hostess regularly cleaned the toilet and shower and threw out the trash.
That family had a luxury room in a neighboring house with the same owner. The room also has air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, double and single beds, as well as a toilet with shower. There was a table with chairs in the courtyard outside the room. Their room cost more than ours, 2500 rubles. per day (because for three + amenities in the room).
The accommodation is very good, the rooms have modern beautiful furniture, the sea is about 7 minutes away at a calm pace. I recommend staying here (in private messages), since for such a price it is unlikely to find good accommodation close to the sea.
Entertainment
We went on a boat trip and to a safari park in Gelendzhik.
Boat trip. We took an hour's walk at 7 o'clock. We watched the sunset and took pictures. Costs 400 rubles. per person. For a 2-hour walk the cost is 800 rubles. per person.
Safari Park. Well, there's a whole story here! Firstly, the park is located on a mountain, it is very difficult to climb. Wear sneakers or sneakers, not flip-flops. It was really hot. Water costs 50 rubles per 0.5 liter. Prices for ice cream start from 90 rubles. for a regular glass. There are 2 tickets sold for the safari - to the zoo and to the cable car. We took both. Zoo - 500 rub. per person, cable car - 1000 rubles. The zoo is large, there are many animals. The only thing is the mountain, very steep climbs. My husband stood in line for an hour to get to the cable car in the sweltering heat. We took the cable car up the mountain, there was a dolmen, a section of reptiles, snakes and butterflies. To go back down to the zoo, my husband again had to stand in line for the cable car, but this time not so long, about 20 minutes. Take plenty of water with you.
I recommend Kabardinka, it’s very beautiful here, a lot of lights and a feeling of celebration!

My choice fell on this village based on reviews from friends. “Cool!” they said, “just go there,” they shouted.
Let me start with the fact that I was pregnant. And we decided to go on vacation, so to speak, “for the last time,” quietly, just the two of us. We didn’t plan to go in advance, so we bought tickets almost before the day of departure. I even snatched one of the lowest places for myself)
Before reaching Novorossiysk, people of Caucasian nationality were already “on guard” at the stations and offered their homes. ) for a lot of money. some agreed and got off the train and rode with them.
Upon arrival in Kabardinka itself, we found an excellent place, 10 minutes from the sea) a separate house with a TV, air conditioning, wardrobe and refrigerator. For only 600 rubles per person. (July 2018) There were 2 kitchens, 2 showers and 2 toilets on the territory. The owners were nowhere to be seen; they cleaned everything up early in the morning. When we got up, everything was already shining. Address: st. Sports d 2.
Get to the point. You will think that I couldn’t drink, so we didn’t like anything and it wasn’t fun, and “bad.” No!
- Dirty sea! After Abkhazia, I have not yet seen a cleaner sea.
- A huge number of people! Anytime!!! It is simply impossible to lay down a rug and quietly lie down to sunbathe. And swimming closer to the shore was a little dangerous for me, because children of different ages were splashing, diving, and playing right close to the shore. We bought pillows and sailed away from everyone.
- Dirty beaches. There is food everywhere and there are only pigeons around.
- High prices for food and entertainment. They also only circle around for money.
- Alcoholic drinks were of poor quality. Although they wrote that the wines and chacha were their own. But it was not there.
- It’s a small village, there’s nowhere to go for a walk except three or four streets.
In general, for those who want to relax calmly and inexpensively, this is not an option at all.

Back in 2016, my family and I decided to relax in Kabardinka. I’ve heard a lot of positive reviews about this village, and the famous Kabardian park “Old Town” has been attracting me for years.
Because We live in Krasnodar, so trips to the sea are limited to 1-3 days. This is quite enough to soak up the sun and splash in the salty water of the Black Sea.
We left Krasnodar at 4 o'clock in the morning to avoid standing in traffic jams and moved to Kabardinka through the highway to Novorossiysk (it is impossible to drive through the Dzhubginskaya highway in August, there is a traffic jam both day and night).
After 3 hours of travel, we arrived in Kabardinka and began to look for accommodation for the night in the private sector. I’ll say right away - IF YOU WANT TO RENT AN ACCOMMODATION FOR 1 DAY, THEN IT’S BETTER FOR YOU TO LOOK FOR IT IN ANOTHER VILLAGE.
The locals turned their noses up at the phrase “Accommodation for a day” and affectionately sent them to other similarly FUCKED OWNERS. The most interesting thing is that most of them had free rooms, but they saved them for Muscovites and Siberians, who would naturally bring them more money. And so we spent 3 hours looking for housing and, honestly, had no desire to relax there. After visiting 3 more houses, they finally agreed to move us in.
For 700 rub. We rented a small room per person in a 2-story house. The room was small, but cozy. The only amenities were: beds, a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and an air conditioner, which, judging by the noise, tried very hard to cool the room, but it failed. The toilet and shower were outside, fortunately they were always looked after and kept clean.
You can give 5 points for the living conditions.
THE ROAD TO THE SEA deserves special attention. There were so many people on the sidewalks... as if the May 9th parade had just taken place here. This stream carried away worse than the sea current.
I don’t know what category of amenities this should be classified in - but for this horror I give an ironclad 1 point.
THE BEACH IS CROWDED. In order to get to the sea and find a free place, you sometimes had to step over someone’s place because... it was a real labyrinth.
1 point.
THE SEA IS DIRTY. Due to the large number of people and the low level of intelligence of some vacationers, cigarette butts, plastic cups, bags, and chewed corn could be found in the water. It’s not pleasant enough to swim in all this.
1 point
Kabardinka is saved by only one pleasant place - the Old Park. The entrance ticket there is not very expensive, so if you are in Kabardinka, be sure to visit this park.
Inside it there are a lot of beautiful thematic structures, buildings, sculptures and fountains, and rare plants also grow there. The atmosphere inside the park is very relaxing.
5 points.
In general, to summarize, I can say the following - if you want to relax and have a peaceful rest without noisy music, without crowds and fuss, then Kabardinka is not suitable for you.
And if it’s the other way around, then vice versa)
One of these days I will try to write a review about a cool, less popular place, where there is a cool, half-empty beach, always clean water and affordable cheap accommodation.
