Holidays in Maly Utrish (Anapa): description, how to get there, what to see. Hotels for holidays in Maly Utrish on the sea

The beach in Maly Utrish is located on the Black Sea coast between Anapa and Novorossiysk. During the summer season there are usually few vacationers here due to the lack of developed infrastructure. Tourists come here who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The coastline of the beach is located near the settlement of the same name, which used to be a fishing village.

The uniqueness of the beach lies in the fact that the village and the coastline are located on the territory of the Bolshoy Utrish state reserve. The reserve occupies a twelve-kilometer strip along the Black Sea coast. In the north of the natural landscape reserve, the foothills of the Caucasus begin. The reserve contains the only untouched area of the eastern Mediterranean landscape.

Maly Utrish beach on Google maps panoramas

In the area of Maly Utrish you can find rare species of flora and fauna of the Krasnodar Territory, listed in the Red Book. Centuries-old juniper grows in this area, which saturates the air with healthy oils. There are relict forests and groves here. The village, on the shore of which the Maly Utrish beach is located, is located 8 kilometers from the village of Bolshoy Utrish and 9 kilometers from Durso.

On the territory of Maly Utrish in the 20th century there was a fishing state farm with a pier, a workshop for processing fish products and an administrative building. In 1978, the Biological Station of the Institute of Evolutionary Morphology and Animal Ecology was built here. The fishing plant ceased to exist after 2000. On the lands of Maly Utrish, archaeologists discovered a burial ground from the 13th to 15th centuries.

Today there is a lighthouse on Cape Maly Utrish. The Southern Military District "Caucasus" exercises are sometimes held in the bay near the coastline. In the village itself there are hotels and small recreation centers where vacationers can stay. There is no particularly developed infrastructure here, but the sea is cleaner than in other coastal areas of the Bolshoi Utrish Nature Reserve.

Wild beaches between Sukko and Bolshoi Utrish

From the nursery in Sukko to Utrish itself you can walk along the beach. Here you will see many cozy and beautiful places where you can retire, pitch a tent, or sunbathe naked away from prying eyes. If you climb up a steep slope from here, you will find yourself on the highway. The surface of the wild beaches is pebbly or rocky; there are different entrances to the sea - both steep and gentle. The most popular part of these wild beaches and the most convenient to get there is located at the level of the observation deck on the highway between Sukko and Utrish, to the right of the Big Utrish yacht club.

Holidays in Maly Utrish on the seashore: how to get there

By plane

Those who fly here by plane are unlikely to go on vacation to Maly Utrish, but, nevertheless, nothing can be ruled out. You can take a taxi from Vityazevo airport for about 1,350 rubles if you book it in advance. You can take bus number 113 and get to the Northern Market. From the market you need to walk to Krymskaya Street and take bus No. 109 to Sukko, which runs once an hour. From Sukko you need to cover a distance of 10 km along a sandy road. This can only be done by taxi or hitchhiking.

Anapa → Malyy Utrish

By car

Those who go on vacation to Maly Utrish by the sea prefer to get there by their own transport. To get to Krasnodar you need to take the M-4 Don federal highway. From the regional center we move along the A-146 road to the interchange at A-290, the road to the left goes to Novorossiysk, and the turn to the right goes to Anapa and towards Taman. Here you need to turn right. After about 15 kilometers between the settlements of Zarya and Rassvet there will be a left turn onto Shosseynaya Street, passing through Varvarovka and Gai-Nadzor and leading to Sukko. In Sukko, this main road turns into Utrishskaya Street and, after driving along it through the entire resort for about 1 kilometer, at the very end you need to turn onto Lesnaya Street. It is this road that will lead you to Maly Utrish.

Zmeinka Beach

The beach was named after Snake Lake, which is the name of the bay. Previously, it was a lake with fresh water, there were snakes in it, but later the reservoir was connected to the sea, and the water became salty, and all the snakes disappeared. The beach is located at the beginning of the bay, near the sunken ship. There is a yacht club nearby. There is a camping area on the beach for travelers in cars with tents. You can rent a gazebo or barbecue for a picnic. There is a grocery store nearby. The beach is covered with large stones, so entry into the water is not very convenient.

Weather conditions near the beach

The beach is located in the Mediterranean climate zone. Summers here are hot and dry. Air humidity is low, so the heat here is easier to bear. The swimming season on the beach in Maly Utrish begins in mid-May and ends in early October.

The air temperature in summer rises to +25…+28 °C. On hot days the air can warm up to +38 °C. The warmest month of summer is August.

Central beach of Bolshoy Utrish

The central beach is traditionally the most crowded and noisy place. Not far from the beach there is paid parking and a bus stop. The beach is equipped with everything you need - umbrellas, sunbeds, shops with resort goods, equipment rentals, various water activities - banana boat rides, catamarans, tablets, changing cabins, toilets, showers. There are several eateries and cafes where you can grab a bite to eat.

Beach of the Bolshoi Utrish Peninsula

Beach located in the north of the peninsula. Also popular, but there are already fewer people here than in the central one. The beach strip is long - up to the wild beaches near the lighthouse, wide. There are sunshades and a cafe. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient. The place is popular mainly among lovers of spearfishing and diving.

Things to do

According to tourist reviews for 2022, diving, spearfishing, sea fishing and boat trips are popular in Maly Utrish. A great idea is to walk around the protected surroundings of the village with a camera! Walk along the shore to Bolshoi Utrish and you will be able to admire a beautiful waterfall 5 m high. An 8 km long walk will take an hour and a half.

Maria: “Diving enthusiasts will be very pleased with the local underwater world. It is incredibly diverse! Those who want to fish can order a fishing trip. If you're lucky, the catch will pleasantly surprise you. After all, in the Black Sea there are completely different fish from mullet to flounder and katran.”

Beach of the camping “Utrishskaya Volna”

This beach occupies the southern side of the peninsula. You can drive up by car through the barrier. The beach is wide and quite long. There is everything you need for relaxation: changing cabins, toilets, showers, sun canopies, sun loungers, various attractions, cafes and snack bars. There are boats on the beach that can take you to protected areas, to lagoons and to the beach of neighboring Maly Utrish. Near the camping beach there is the famous Utrish Dolphinarium. There is a sea bath at the edge of the beach.

If you are not a fan of noisy entertainment places, crowded beaches, rush hour crowds on roads and sidewalks, then we will be glad to see you as our guests! Our recreation center “Maly Utrish” is for lovers of wild nature, clear seas, pristine beaches and silence. This is a private, small camping-type base, with different categories of rooms for people who are unpretentious to the conditions, but want to taste all the splendor of nature in a protected area. We are located on the Black Sea coast in a very unusual, one might say, unique place, on the territory of the Utrish State Dendrological and Marine Reserve. The base is separated from Anapa by 20 km. coast and 30 km. coast from Novorossiysk. The natural resources of the reserve are being preserved, and therefore the stay of resort guests here is limited. Fans of diving, spearfishing, interesting natural landscapes, clean beaches and picturesque landscapes will find a lot of interesting things in this wonderful place. A variety of wild beaches with small and large sea-rolled pebbles, picturesque rocks, and the gentle southern sun will give you a wonderful tan and spiritual comfort. On the opposite side from the shore, the relict mountain forests of the reserve approach the recreation center closely. In them you can find a healing spring with mineral water (once, a very long time ago, they wanted to organize its extraction and drilled a well, but it didn’t reach an industrial scale - it was banned, but the well 200 meters deep remained), a picturesque lake, mushroom clearings, unusual natural landscapes, small waterfalls with crystal clear cool water, streams and much more. In particular, for lovers of antiquity - the skeletons of the ruins of an ancient city, overgrown with mosses and lichens. They were never excavated, but the sight is very unusual. The base itself is located in a small, if not tiny, village with several dozen local residents. Since most of them are engaged in breeding domestic animals, you can provide fresh milk for yourself if you wish, without limiting your rest time to long distances. Regarding allergy sufferers, I can say this - you will move to a place where allergies to ragweed, birch, poplar and other city “guests” have no place in this ecosystem (checked on my own child with allergies!), since these types of vegetation do not grow in this forest area , and if they grow, then as an exception, and not on the seashore. We do not offer you comfortable rooms with all possible amenities, but you can be sure that when you go to the beach to sunbathe, you will be able to choose any place to relax and fully enjoy the natural resources of the reserve in silence! The most important task is not to overload this rare natural complex, to preserve its natural resources as a leading healing factor. We will provide you with an excursion program! There is an opportunity to visit the Bolshoi Utrish Dolphinarium, as well as go on an excursion to the tasting room of the Abrau-Durso sparkling wine factory, etc.

The number of rooms at the Maly Utrish recreation center includes: 1) A two-room detached wooden house accommodating two double rooms No. 16 and No. 17 . The rooms are designed for 2 people each. These rooms differ from the house in larger area and increased comfort. There is a separate shower room on the floor for them. The toilet is downstairs. 4) At your service is a two-story cottage , which includes five rooms with all amenities (No. 31 - No. 35) , one of which is a large 3-4-bed room No. 35 (20 sq. meters, 2 attic floor), designed for 4 people. Konstantinovsky beach

In the middle of the last century, these places were called the Konstantinovsky Coast - the coast from Bolshoy to Maly Utrish. Konstantinovsky beach consists of several wild beaches running one after another that lead to lagoons. The strip stretches 500 meters to the Prometheus Rocks beach. The surface is rocky, the entrance to the water is mostly sharp and inconvenient, but there is clean water and various marine life.

Beach "Mount Prometheus"

The name of this place is associated with one legend. From the Adyghe word “Utrish” is translated “failed mountain”. The unusual landscape of this area is the result of a major earthquake that took place many years ago. According to legend, an angry Zeus split the earth with lightning and chained Prometheus to one of the rocks, thus punishing him for giving fire to people. After years of suffering, Prometheus was freed by Hercules and he plunged into sea water and immediately all his wounds healed. And to this day the water here is considered healing, and the rock was named Prometheus. You can’t go further than that - the reserve territory begins there and there is a guard post. Half of the beach was closed, and on the other half both locals and guests of Utrish were relaxing.

Hospitable welcome at “Olga’s”

  • Phone: 8-918-673-24-13.
  • Prices: from 2000 rub.

Appreciate the very center of the resort village of Maly Utrish. Recreation centers in this location give way to the fashionable villa "Olga". We are talking about an elongated egg-colored mansion with an overhanging 2nd floor, the verandas of which are enclosed by a balustrade, and each section has its own gable roof. Holidays here are called comfortable and cheap. The nearest water area is only 55 m from here. The narrow shore consists of large pebbles.

Vacationers move into clean and bright 2- and 3-bed “Standards”, as well as “Apartments”. The decoration here is designed in the “classic” style. The exception is “Apartments”, the space of which is a loft. In each room of the guest house you will find:

  • beds and nightstands;
  • isolated bathroom with shower;
  • TV;
  • access to a balcony with outdoor furniture (not everywhere);
  • closet;
  • additional sofa (in 4-seater versions);
  • paintings on the walls;
  • mini fridge.

You can have your meal in a luxurious banquet hall with lots of furniture. At the far end you will find a fully equipped kitchenette with a large selection of crockery and cutlery. It makes sense to buy groceries in a store located just 150 meters away. On the territory there is a children's playground with various sports and play complexes, as well as a stage where children's animators sometimes perform.

First Lagoon and Zhemchuzhny Waterfall

A waterfall called Zhemchuzhny is one of the main attractions of Utrish. It is only about five meters high, but the water flows with a powerful stream and goes straight into the sea. There is a path above the waterfall; many tourists with tents used to rest in this place, but now the area is patrolled. The first lagoon begins here. Now it is protected, but some, at their own peril and risk, still swim or sneak to look at the waterfall and lagoon. The wild beaches of Utrish begin from the first lagoon and the Pearl Falls.

“Maly Utrish” - the namesake of the protected village

  • Phone: +7-961-513-75-17.
  • Website: https://www.utrish.su/
  • Prices: from 550 rub.

The houses of the former pioneer camp in the forest (northwestern outskirts of the settlement) are considered a good alternative to local accommodation. From the fence to the water there is only 50 m. An establishment with camping elements has the advantage of being away from any noise. Guests are accommodated in comfortable cottages (Standard type), bungalows or tents. The last two options imply that all toilet and shower facilities in the yard are in a separate elongated room. Now about the two cottages, they have:

  • isolated fully equipped bathroom;
  • bedroom set with bedside tables (up to four people live here);
  • passage to the balcony (on the second floor);
  • climate control system;
  • TV;
  • fridge;
  • electric kettle (available upon request).

Tourists eat in the summer kitchen: there are tables, benches and chairs under a canopy. Meals twice a day are already included in the price of the tour. There is a small grocery store, a stall with souvenirs, and even a mini-market selling draft wines (red, white, sparkling). They are from neighboring Abrau-Durso (the walk to the named resort is only 12 km). It remains to add that the establishment has a fairly spacious parking lot.

Second Lagoon and Cape Crocodile

The first lagoon ends at Cape Crocodile: from the sea it looks like the head of a crocodile, which is why this rock was nicknamed that way. This is where the places where recreation is officially allowed begin. The second lagoon is small. This place was chosen by the so-called “Indians” - representatives of youth and various subcultures, artists, hippies and so on. Those who briefly escaped civilization and live here as savages in tents. There are small and large pebbles on the shore, the entrance to the sea is convenient and gentle.

Vacation with children

The depth in Maly Utrish increases quickly, so the local beach is hardly suitable for families with children. Older children will be interested in walking around the reserve. In the surrounding forests you can see junipers, old trees, flowering plants, hedgehogs and fast dragonflies. On the seashore it is interesting to watch crabs and schools of fish. Dolphins constantly swim to the beach.

Camilla: “We vacationed with my husband and 3-year-old child in July. It is calm, comfortable and unforgettable here. The beach is different, you can catch crabs. There’s a small shop nearby, the prices there are, of course, high... but tolerable.”

Third Lagoon

On the third lagoon the beach is rocky, so the place is not very convenient for sunbathing and swimming. There is another famous attraction of Utrish - the Picturesque Lake. The reservoir is separated from the sea by a strip of beach. Recently, this place has become popular among vacationers; there are a lot of people here who like to sunbathe naked, since the third lagoon is not part of the reserve and is not under special protection, so it is open to everyone. You can get there by boat from Bolshoy Utrish. The place is quiet and calm, there is no entertainment, fuss, or noise here.

"House on Malutrishskaya"

  • Phone: 8-918-447-74-10.
  • Prices: from 3000 rubles.

In a small area in front of a dilapidated boat station, you will come across a house that can be rented for the duration of your “Maloutrich” vacation - it is only 70 meters from the lighthouse, which is located slightly to the south. Nothing will stop you from watching it from the window every day. Closer to the water’s edge is a place that visitors call “the best beach,” so there is, of course, more garbage here. Another landmark is the road leading north to the campsite.

The apartments of the two-level brick mansion are rooms reminiscent of modern apartment housing - with all the usual amenities, including a TV. There is a toilet, a shower, and access to the attic balcony, and a kitchen corner (with a refrigerator, tables, chairs, a gas stove, a sink, dishes and an impressive set of cutlery). Products can be bought in the store. The yard, which has room for a couple of cars, is securely fenced. There is a garden.

Hotels and inns in Maly Utrish can be counted on the fingers of one hand. But they fully satisfy the standard needs of a tourist. In addition, they are located 50-120 m from the sea: a tiny village on the southeastern edge of the Utrish nature reserve is only 550 m deep. Reviews of experienced travelers, including camping enthusiasts, assure that the local service is quite tolerable, so same as local prices. The tent clearing is treated with insect repellents. It’s just a pity that no one is cleaning up the coastal edge. You saw photos of some residential estates on our website. Well, what exactly to choose is up to you!

Maly Utrish Beach

These places really have healing powers - thanks to the air saturated with pine vapors from the relict juniper growing here. The Utrish Nature Reserve was created here in 2010, and since then measures have been taken to prevent people from entering the shore between Big and Small Utrish. You can get to Maly Utrish beach in several ways. The first way is to sail by boat from Bolshoi Utrish or from the village of Durso. You can also order an excursion in a jeep or ATV - such vehicles will be able to drive to Maly Utrish. These places are practically wild - there is no civilization, there are only a few small recreation centers on the shore. Activities include fishing, spearfishing, and diving. People come here to relax from the noise and bustle of the city, and enjoy pristine nature. The entrance to the sea is convenient, the beach cover is medium pebbles, the beach itself is very long and wide.

Impressions from the resort

Previously, Maly Utrish was a small fishing village, and a biological station worked here. Now the locals serve tourists who are attracted by the magnificent nature and clear sea. Maly Utrish is a place where people go to take a breather from the bustle of the city, breathe fresh air and take a walk through the juniper forests. Don’t count on special infrastructure and comfort, Maly Utrish is a real wild holiday!

Tourists who traveled to the village by land note that the road from Bolshoi Utrish is in poor condition. You can only drive normally in an SUV. Another disadvantage of Small Utrish is poor communication. Fishes well only near the sea.

Denis: “You need to understand why you are going to Maly Utrish. Virgin nature, silence, clean sea, air. If you want to party, this is not for you. This is a fishing village, I would say so. Personally, we really liked it.”

Vertelxx: “There are not such serious problems with drinking water here. There is a spring waterfall nearby. If you come to its source, you can get clean water. I will never forget its taste."

Anonymous: “If you don’t mind the car, go for it. Preferably without children, because they get very scared from such extreme activities. Don’t leave an advance payment, there are always available rooms, even in high season.”
