You can buy a train ticket to Novorossiysk on the Russian Railways website or from the OneTwoTrip ticket aggregator (in this case the purchase interface will be more convenient):

The bus to Gelendzhik regularly departs from the Novorossiysk bus station - on average every 3-4 hours.

Travel time: 1 hour Ticket price: from 60 rubles.

For those traveling with children!

Discount on tickets for children under 10 years of age – 65%.

If you take upper and lower seats on a trip with a child, then book the BOTTOM seat for the child - it is always more expensive and has a larger discount.

If you immediately enter the data of all passengers and set a range of seats, the seats will be distributed among passengers automatically and the bottom bunk may not be discounted. Therefore, issue your child’s ticket for the lower seat separately from the rest.

Example of savings: 4,000 for the lower shelf and 5,500 for the upper in full tariffs. If the top shelf is registered for a child, then the total amount will be 1650 + 5,500 = 7,150. Decorate the bottom shelf for a child and the total amount will be 2,270 + 4,000 = 6,270 (saving 880 rubles).

When issuing a ticket for a child on the Russian Railways website, do not forget to manually set a child fare (it becomes available if the entered date of birth falls within the “under 10 years” criteria).

Moscow - Gelendzhik and back by plane

This method will be a little more expensive than others. But the convenience is obvious: travel time is about 2 hours , flights run daily . You arrive directly to Gelendzhik. The only negative is that it is better to buy tickets in advance, since during the season they are usually sold out two months in advance. And, as a rule, only business options remain. The following airlines fly from Moscow to Gelendzhik: Rossiya, UTair, Yamal, Vim Avia, Pobeda, S7 Airlines and others.

Sometimes you can buy tickets on the Aviasales website cheaper than on the websites of official carriers.

When planning a trip, we recommend that you check the schedule and prices on the official websites of carriers.

By car

The M4 highway connects Moscow and Gelendzhik. We always try to leave at night or early in the morning. The fact is that this road is in great demand and traffic jams on it are very frequent. The toll section of the road to Voronezh usually runs like clockwork. I would like to note that the reduced tariff on toll sections of the road is valid from late evening until 9 am. The condition of the road surface is generally good, but there are, of course, some off-road areas. Our route continues through Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar. My husband and I are both experienced drivers, so we easily replace each other. But, there are a large number of campsites along the route where, if necessary, you can have a snack or stop for the night. There are a large number of gas stations along the entire route, so there is no need to carry extra cargo in the form of cans of gasoline. Closer to Gelendzhik, the road becomes winding, with constant slopes, so I do not recommend exceeding the speed of 60 km/h in this section.

What is the most convenient way to get from Gelendzhik to the dolmens

Dolmens are located throughout Greater Gelendzhik, so the trip will take a minimum of time, and many dolmens are easy to reach for elderly people and small children, no need to cross rivers and dense subtropical forest!

I’ll say right away that the famous dolmens in the Lower Olympus Park near the Aya River are artificial buildings of modern people, these are not the same magical dolmens!

There is also a beautiful, mighty dolmen-2007 at the top of the Markokht ridge. The structure was assembled from slabs of destroyed real dolmens; such slabs are scattered throughout the Black Sea forest. Volunteers transported several slabs to a place visited by tourists and built a new dolmen. For example, such amateur activities are not very interesting to me. I want something truly ancient and preserved!

The real dolmens are located near Mount Nekis, 6 km from the city towards the village of Svetly. You need to drive along the M-4 highway, near the gas station, turn onto the opposite highway and after 50 m you will see a dirt road and go up to the top. There are 2 well-preserved dolmens, the Solar and the Moon, and an incredibly beautiful view!

By bus

During the high tourist season, a bus runs between the cities. Travel time is about a day. On the road, passengers can use free Internet services, as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee. Buses depart from Krasnogvardeyskaya and Komsomolskaya bus stations.

Fare

The ticket price is about 2500 rubles.
