Where to go in Adygea by car
So, you are heading to the Republic of Adygea in your own car. First, you need to decide on the resort town where you prefer to relax.
Kamennomostsky
If you come to visit the mountaineers along the federal highway through the capital Maykop , the first on the way you will encounter the resort village of Kamennomostsky. Locals also sometimes say Hadzhokh, this is an old name, but we will come across it again.
The village of Kamennomostsky pleases its guests with a developed infrastructure: there are good hotels, inexpensive guest houses, shops, ATMs, cafes and restaurants. There are also many attractions for exploring on foot and by car; don’t miss the car parks near the waterfalls of the Rufabgo stream and next to the Khadzhokh Gorge .
Fans of active recreation will love the Mishoko extreme park ; fans of ancient history can stop by to get acquainted with the Khadzhokh dolmen. Dakhovskaya
The next point on the way is the village of Dakhovskaya. In recent years, this small mountain village, lost among roads and rocks, has managed to turn into the tourist capital of the region. The choice of entertainment and recreational options here is first-class: there are prestigious hotel complexes, thermal springs, cafes, restaurants, and spa centers.
Take a walk to the main attractions of the village. Stone Bridge , built more than 100 years ago by Cossacks exiled to the Caucasus, is considered a man-made miracle And a natural object worthy of the attention of guests of the republic is the confluence of the Belaya and Dakh rivers, an amazing natural phenomenon. You can order horseback riding, cycling, or boat trips.
Master rafting or fly with a parachute, and the only Savran cable car . It takes you to the top of the Una-Koz ridge, from where many hiking routes start. The most popular one will take you to the Devil's Finger rock . This village is also ideal for those tourists who come to the republic by car. From here it is equally convenient to ride along the road that leads to the Lago-Naki plateau and towards the attractions of the Guzeripl resort.

Guzeripl
The last point on your way may be the mountain village of Guzeripl. Moreover, the “last” in the literal sense of the word - then only the wild nature of the Caucasus, and the expanses of a huge biosphere reserve. But it’s definitely worth coming to Guzeripl itself.
This is a charming land of civilization: mountain peaks, flowering meadows, gorges and canyons. The surroundings of Guzeripl are very convenient to explore by car, so you can explore a lot of interesting locations in a couple of days. You definitely can’t get by without an “iron horse,” because the distances between attractions are considerable, and public transport only goes to the center of the village.
Important advice: don’t rush on the road to Guzeripl, there are a lot of convenient photo stops and viewing platforms scattered here - the shots turn out great!

An interesting route around Adygea by car
Let's imagine this situation: you came to Adygea for 1 day by car. And you want to see as many beauties and local attractions as possible, but don’t know where to start. Of course, from Maykop, the capital of the republic can be made an interesting starting point for your trip.
Pay attention to the central square, and next to it is the elegant Cathedral Mosque . In Maykop you can have a snack, buy souvenirs, and stroll around the city center. But if you are in a hurry, immediately head for the village of Pobeda.

It is there that one of the highest mountain monasteries in Russia is located, the Mikhailo-Athos Transkuban Hermitage . It was founded more than 150 years ago, and today it has received a second chance to flourish. The monastery is beautiful, historical, and interesting to see not only as a shrine, but also as a cultural object. Be sure to climb the bell tower and appreciate the view of the surrounding area from its observation deck.
The next stop on the way is the village of Kamennomostsky. Nature fans will especially like it: here are the Rufabgo waterfalls, the Khadzhokh Gorge, and the banks of the Belaya River. You should leave at least 2 hours for a walk through the waterfall park; you can appreciate the scale of the gorge a little faster.
On the road between Kamennomoskoye and the village of Dakhovskaya, you will notice a huge stone boulder blocking the path. This is the so-called Cossack Stone, and many tourists stop nearby to photograph it. In Dakhovskaya itself, take a walk to the Stone Bridge, or relax on the banks of the Belaya River.
Here you will be greeted by a turn to the Lago-Naki plateau - get ready to admire the panoramas. The road to the final point, the cordon of the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve, is not too far, but this distance cannot be covered quickly. There are many interesting stops along the way: viewing terraces, souvenir markets, ski slopes in winter and trekking routes in summer.

You can stop by on the way to visit the Azish Cave. By the way, even if you don’t like underground palaces, still follow the sign to the cave. An excellent (and free) observation deck awaits you. The Utyug rock will be a wonderful end to the day in Adygea. It is believed that the ideal, those same “postcard” views of the endless Lago-Naki plateau open from here.

Dakhovsky Bridge
Coordinates: N44 14.214 E40 12.324 Address: r. Adygea, village Dakhovskaya, st. Catherine Bridge How to get there: the attraction is located on the northwestern outskirts of the village of Dakhovskaya near the foot of the Una-Koz ridge
The Dakhovsky Bridge, leading across the Dakh River, was built in 1906 by the Cossacks of the Second Urup Regiment. A year earlier, they staged a riot, were demobilized and repressed, some went to hard labor, others to build a bridge.
The structure is reliable (chicken egg whites were added to the mixture to hold the stones together) and is suitable for use, but in order to preserve it, another, more modern structure was built nearby.
